Came here for a lunch meeting and had a great experience. This ramen spot is located across from Ward Theater, and the atmosphere inside is cozy with slightly dim lighting. Since I visited on a weekday, it wasn't too crowded, which made for a relaxed dining experience.I ordered their combo special for $23, which included a bowl of ramen along with gyoza, a taco tuna, fried chicken, and a salad. It was a generous portion and very filling! The ramen itself was rich and flavorful, and I was already getting full after the gyoza and salad. For those who don't eat meat, they also offer a vegetarian ramen option. The service was great--staff provided recommendations, checked on us multiple times, and kept our water refilled.Overall, a great spot for ramen with delicious food and friendly service. I'd definitely come back!

Been here a few times. Some things I consider when dining out besides just the food:LocationParkingAmbiance ServiceGreat location at Ward Village.Plenty of free parking.Great ambiance.Service is above average. The ramen is good. Broth is tasty. Nice variety of ramen options and chef specials/seasonals.The Keiki meal is actually good enough for an adult my kid loves it. Service has been above average for us. They also have decent happy hour deals. This is one of our go to ramn spots. We'll be coming back.

For lunch we had a reservation, but found it to be quite empty the entire time we enjoyed our time in the establishment. Servers were quick to top up drinks and were constantly asking if we were okay, almost too much would be my only critique. Ordered the Tapas and Ramen Special. Gyoza was good and the chicken was satisfying. Still a little lot a bit confused by the tuna taco, but it was a good deal to try their offerings. Ramen was pretty standard, but I did really enjoy their egg! What looked to be a very clean place and nearly accessible from the Ward. Only thing that bothered me while eating is the tables seemed pretty close together but also the tables being on the smaller side.

JINYA Ramen Bar:JINYA Ramen Bar offers a solid dining experience if you're looking for a relaxed and quiet atmosphere. When I visited, the place wasn't super busy, which made it a nice spot to enjoy a peaceful meal. The food was decent, with the ramen delivering on comforting flavors, though it didn't particularly stand out. The drinks, on the other hand, were enjoyable and added to the experience.Overall, it's a good spot if you're in the mood for ramen and want a quieter setting to unwind. Worth a visit if you're nearby!

Got the Lelele Sour recommended by our waitress. Ok drink but not wowed at first sip - I'm usually a margarita guy so probably just wasn't feeling this Sour.Ambiance on a Friday night at 9pm is dim lighting cozy and upscale enough for a date night out. Plenty of seating indoors

Congrats JINYA! In celebration of their Gold award for the best ramen, they offered a limited time ramen combo special for only $22. .Luckily an ig ad popped on my feed announcing this and thus, dinner plans were decided. .I chose their Jinya Black Tonkatsu ramen while apps and dessert were set with the combo. Thankful the mint citrus gelatin dessert was only served in a shot glass... it was a striking contrast against the savory umami ramen I had, and although not bad, I'd prefer some ice cream to end my meal. (: .As usual, attentive service with their trendy playlist made a pleasant experience for this solo dine in. .cheers!

I am so happy Jinya is open in HI! I used to visit the California locations every time I had the chance AND I would wait in 1+ hour lines to be seated because they didn't accept reservations, so I'm glad that this branch accepts reservations and has the capacity to accommodate many parties. It's located at the bottom of an apartment complex and is v bougie (I really hope they don't close because it was empty when we went during a weekday for lunch). My Jinya tonkotsu black ramen was delicious, but the takoyaki was the star of the show for me! I will say the ramen was priced higher than usual places, but if you look at the interior design and space, it's easy to see why they charge above average. Overall, I would definitely return!

Disappointed. I first ate here not long after it opened. It was great. I went again yesterday. They were short staffed. I ordered a Jinya Chicken Ramen. The 2 pieces of chicken was soft and juicy. The broth was a big disappointment. There was no flavor. It didn't even taste like chicken. I wanted to add shoyu but they don't have any. I ordered hot green tea. It was $4. There was a bag in the tea cup. My spouse's food was ok.

I''ve been a repeat customer at Jinya Ramen and have consistently enjoyed their delicious offerings. Their recent anniversary special was a delightful treat, featuring a tempting combination of an appetizer, a choice of ramen, and a dessert. While the dessert wasn't quite my cup of tea, with a stronger citrus flavor than I prefer (I'm a sweet tooth), but the ramen was absolutely fantastic. I typically opt for the spicy creamy vegetarian ramen, but this time I decided to branch out and try something new. The service was also always great when I come to eat here. If you're a ramen lover seeking a satisfying and flavorful meal, Jinya Ramen is a must-visit.
