We booked an engagement session with Jenna on our first trip together to Hawaii. Jenna knew that this was an engagement session redo for us, because we'd told her we were really disappointed with the first set of photos we took in San Francisco, and she really blew us away with the images she captured for us. I couldn't stop smiling as I looked through the photos because there were SO many good ones to choose from. We are definitely replacing the current photos we have around the house with these new ones from Jenna!When I had the initial consultation call with Jenna, I told her that we - as a couple - were super awkward in front of the camera, and would need a ton of direction. She went above and beyond in this sense, and not only did she put us at ease in front of the camera, but she provided great instructions and tips to help us look natural while she was shooting. She was also 100% in it with us, getting in the water however deep she needed to get in order to get a good shot. Finally, I felt like the service Jenna and Sean provided really went above what we expected from our photographer. They picked us up and dropped us off back in Waikiki, and also brought towels for us to dry off with after we got soaked and sandy on the beach. Honestly, this experience went beyond just a photoshoot. We could not stop talking about the morning we spent with Jenna and Sean, and we raved about them to all of our friends back home. Not only are they both just wonderful people and fun to talk to, but they are also so so soooo talented in what they do. If I was getting married in Hawaii, I would hire Jenna Lee Photography for my wedding photography and videography in a heartbeat!

My husband and I hired Jenna Lee Pictures a year ago today to curate our wedding in Kauai. Initially, Zach Dancel and I thought we wanted a large blow-out wedding. However, we soon realized that we weren't planning a wedding for ourselves. We were constantly trying to please everyone else and meet their needs. After attending weddings of friends and family, we could see how so many couples just become consumed trying to make sure every guest has fun which often deprives the newlyweds from enjoying THEIR own day. That is when we decided to keep it simple and elope. We contacted Jenna with less than 6 months notice, and not only did she make the process EXTREMELY easy from the beginning, but she constantly recommended vendors, new places, and shoot ideas for my husband and I to have the perfect day. When we visualized our wedding, all we truly wanted was to keep it stress-free so we could just focus on what really mattered: our marriage and commitment to one another, and Jenna made sure of this. We loved her work and passion for her profession so much that we actually decided to do a TWO day shoot with her. Our two-day adventure elopement took us to an amazing and remote location in Kaua'i that involved hiking for several hours into a gorgeous and private coastal area. We saw blow holes, turtles, and endangered monk seals along the way that Jenna had spotted. Our fearless photographer who did not care getting rained on, muddy, and even letting me borrow her SHOES so I would not slip, ensured our special day would be nothing short of PERFECT- and the pictures she took will prove it! We loved the symbolism of hiking for a couple hours before committing to one another, just traveling hand-in-hand, helping helping each other along the way.On the second day, we started our hike at 3:30am to venture to the opposite side of the island on Oahu's North Shore. At the crack of dawn, Jenna PICKED US UP from our hotel (AT NO ADDITIONAL COST) and we hiked up to this amazing lookout for sunrise pictures overlooking the water, where we laughed, cried, played, and celebrated our love. (Crouching Lion).I must say that when we booked Jenna, I did not expect her to have such an impact in our lives. Not only is she extremely talented, (hence why she has been voted top 3 wedding photographer in the world by WedAward for a couple years now)but she truly cares about making every single experience unique in their own way. Jenna is so much more than just an epic wedding photographer, she has gained a very special place in our hearts and we will MAKE SURE to use her services, including drone shoots, again in the near future. Photography was the most important thing to me for our wedding, and after doing tons of research, Jenna Lee was the first vendor I secured. I definitely do NOT regret it! The photos came out STUNNING and Jenna Lee is such an AMAZING PERSON and huge pleasure to work with! My favorite thing about her is that she focuses on capturing moments rather than "poses," so the photos don't look contrived, and her SKILL at this blows my mind. Her personality really helps because she's fun, friendly, tries out different things and overall makes you feel really comfortable while still remaining professional. My husband absolutely HATES and dreads taking photos, but thanks to Jenna he said he actually had a great time!! :D Getting the best photos possible was always her goal, and she did NOT disappoint. Our wedding was rough because there was so much planned, and I was really impressed by the organization and speed of Jenna and her team to successfully capture everything that was going on, even a surprise my husband had planned which went over schedule, but they stayed anyway!! I absolutely loved working with Jenna -- her work goes above and beyond. If you're on the fence about booking her and are looking to capture real, genuine, once in a lifetime moments, you won't be disappointed. She really takes the time to work with you to understand what you're going for, so the tone of the photos matches the vibe of your wedding. I'm so happy that she was able to capture the fairytale atmosphere we wanted, and everyone who has seen the photos asks how I managed to find such an amazing photographer. As we were planning our wedding in Hawaii, a number of our family and friends advised us to choose a wedding photographer very carefully, as the images that the photographer captures will be images that encapsulates one of the most pivotal experiences of a person's, and indeed a couple's, lifetime. Therefore, of all the things to get right, hiring the right photographer is of the utmost importance. With all the pressure of that comes with that advice, so began our research into wedding photographers. Initially, our wedding venue, the Moana Surfrider, and our wedding coordinator, Lauren from Aloha Bridal Connections (ABC), gave us two separate lists of "preferred vendors." From there, we began cross-referencing the vendors with their respective reviews online. Based on those reviews, we then looked at each photographers' portfolio and decided if their work aligns with the aesthetic that we had in mind for our wedding photos. Of all the vendors we evaluated, Jenna Lee Pictures, a recommendation from ABC, was at the very top of our list. Not only were her reviews five-stars across the board, but her photos are consistently amazing. Just have a look at her gallery for yourself, and you will see what I mean.On the day of our wedding, Jenna Lee perfectly captured every crucial moment, every emotion, and every detail imaginable. At the beginning of her eight-hour session, as we were getting ready separately and during our "First Look," Jenna Lee had a presence about her whereby you can tell she's deeply passionate about her work. She was professional, warm, friendly and enthusiastic. There was just the right amount of communication between her, the wedding party, family members, as well as with the both of us. Then, during the ceremony and reception, we barely noticed her at all, which I believe is what you want as this enabled us to focus on each other, our guests, and be present in the moment. As a couple on their wedding day, and you may soon find out, if not already, everything happens in a blink of an eye. There is so much we were not able to notice on our big day and Jenna Lee, with the help of her assistants, captured so much of what we missed. It's now about a month and a half since we got married and Jenna Lee just sent us our entire wedding photo gallery. What a treat! (We even had a sneak peek only two weeks after our wedding.) It is such a pleasure to relive all the moments we remember and discover many of the things we have missed. Lastly, it poured on our wedding day; I mean the heavens just opened up on us, which according to Hawaiian custom, is a huge blessing. That said, my wife dreamt of getting married outdoors on the beach her entire life. On account of the rain, our ceremony was moved indoors. However, after the ceremony, that didn't stop my wife, Jenna Lee, and subsequently me from braving the elements to capture some pretty epic shots on the beach. Jenna Lee and her team had no problems with getting wet. She might have even sacrificed some of her equipment that day, but that didn't stop Jenna Lee. She enthusiastically encouraged my wife to kick a puddle of water at her and her expensive camera. If that doesn't tell you about how committed Jenna Lee is, then I don't know what will. If you are looking for a photographer that specializes in weddings, engagements, and couples photography, then definitely go with Jenna Lee Pictures. You will be happy that you did. We wanted a couple's photoshoot that captures the beauty of Hawaii and reflects how much fun we were having on the islands--Jenna did just that! Jenna made us feel really comfortable and we had a blast during the photoshoot. She and her team (Sean and Jerry) were also the most patient, flexible, and accommodating as we navigated through a few unexpected issues (none of which was their fault, including a search & rescue mission that shut down and almost crashed their drone!). Because of that, our photos came out a little different than what we had planned, but stunning nonetheless. Highly recommend!

Jenna is a true artist. She is reliable, comfortable to work with, and imaginative. Jenna took my head shots for me. I needed them to promote my company and to have on file for the future. Jenna made me feel beautiful and the photos surpassed my expectations. I refer many people to her not only because she takes amazing pictures but because she is one of the hardest working and most reliable business owners here on Oahu.

I absolutely loved working with Jenna for my destination wedding in Hawaii! We hit it off on our phone call after I struck out with more than 6 other photographers. She even worked with us to stay within our budget while getting everything we wanted. She is an awesome person and has so much talent. I'm not a naturally pose-y type person and she was fantastic with direction on the day of the wedding. She was phenom with getting our little flower girls to open up and even got a group shot of our 100 guest wedding! Except for the photo shoots, she was barely noticeable running around the ceremony and reception taking candids of everyone. She also went out of her way to blow our collective minds with 50+ edited photos the DAY AFTER THE WEDDING. I can't say enough great things about the entire experience plus we have unbelievable photos of our wedding.

Jenna took my fiancé and I's engagement photos in April and we absolutely LOVED everything about the process.Jenna and her team are very professional which made setting up our appointment and communicating what we wanted from the shoot very easy.Neither my fiancé or I had ever done a professional photoshoot before and Jenna made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and was able to get some beautiful candid shots that really show us as a couple.After the actual photoshoot took place we were able to access all of our photos on an online platform which Jenna shared with us in a matter of weeks! This made it incredibly convenient to download photos instantly, share with friends and family, and also had the option to have Jenna print photos directly!I could not recommend Jenna Lee Picture more highly. The professional and convenient set up of her business is very impressive (not to mention her insane and creative photography skills!!!) gave my fiancé and I memories that will last a lifetime.

The entire team was not only professional but also incredibly fun--honestly, I would be friends with every photographer there! I can't tell you how many times I was adding and subtracting hours and not once did they make me feel bad or like it was a burden. We felt like we had the images in no time, and every single one exceeded our expectations.We feel INCREDIBLY lucky that Jenna was the photographer for our wedding; her team was just as phenomenal.
