One of our favorite Friday outings is to get Goma Tei Ramen, then bingsu, then finish the evening watching fireworks at the pier before heading home.Pro tip: use your spoon and dig a moat around the edge of the bowl BEFORE you pour the condensed milk on so that it doesn't pour off the edge of the bowl.

I swear I've made a review at Jejubing before but I guess not.To preface, I've visited jejubing countless times and have raved and recommended this place to so many people. My first experience here was at least a couple of years ago and I just remember how amazing it was.The bingsu is so light yet creamy, and the toppings just pair so perfectly well together.I usually always go with the mango or the strawberry ones but more recently i tried the peanut powder (injeolmi) and it was actually surprisingly very good. It is still unable to top my favorite, the mango, as it is my favorite fruit but it was just perfectly not too sweat and the mochi and red bean all just went very well together. A personal tip of mines is that I know a lot of folks may have the temptation to pour all of the condensed milk on top right at the start but I'd recommend portioning it out to ensure that it wouldn't be too sweet for you (or even slide off the top as the bowl is so topped out).I've also been told that their toasts are delicious as well so that may be my next to try item!Extra Info:It is mainly self service and you can just let them know you're dining in and if they're busy you may have to wait outside. Once they have space for you, you just have to order at the counter and they will hand you a buzzer for your order. The inside is decorated nicely and very cold.

Ever since I was in elementary school a sweet tradition that my dad and I have always had was fulfilling our answer tooth cravings together. Everytime he brings me to Santa Cruz to drop me off at school no questions asked him and I shaking our sprinkles from one creamery to the next. I like how there is a lot of seating arrangements in the modern wood style ambiance that gave me my Korean Drama moment. Sadly, I don't meet my crash landing on you love, but I did get to enjoy the Bingsoo with my dad who I love. This was his first time trying out Korean Bingsoo which I had high expectations for because being in Hawaii is just that much closer to Korea... this is the first time I've ever been served bingsoo in a to go cup. Traditionally the way bingsoo is served it comes out in a bowl lookin like a mountain higher than Mt. Everest covered in ripped off with a layer of perfect my ripe fresh fruit. Unfortunate when. We gave this spot a try they had ran out of mangoes in which he had to let that Man Go and settle for Strawberry Shortcake. I like the shaved snow that's served here because it doesn't turn into chunky ice blocks and there is a lot more flavor in the cream used and not turning into a lake of melted junk like in Cloudy With a Chance Of Meatballs. I wasn't out of this world impressed, but I do hope that I'll be back soon enough to give their mango Bingsoo a chance:

Located in Ala Moana, Jejubing is more popularly known for bingsu but also has other treats like toasts and drink options. The space is leveled and feels like there are almost two floors/spaces. There is a decent amount of seating inside and the space feels a bit cold and spacious. The service has been fast everytime we have gone. The orders usually come out promptly and the buzzer lets you know it's ready. I have gotten the Injeolmi, black sesame, strawberry, mango, honeydew, and green tea bingsus. I've also gotten the black sesame smoothie. All have been good and solid options for bingsu.

Our current go-to bingsu spot. Flavors are always fantastic and your order comes out quick! The way each bowl is assembled (layers) provides consistent flavor throughout every bite. Very clean and well lit establishment near the food court and See's Candy.

I wanted a cold & sweet treat, & I finally had the chance to try bingsu. I like that it's not too sweet & was refreshing. The service is great. It does not take long to receive your order, & the workers are friendly. The seating area can be full sometimes, but it's still a cozy place. I love going here for dessert when I have the chance.

We tried the black sesame snow ice. The mochi quality was not the best! The red bean was not very generous. The bowl was overflowing with snow ice though, which was good for splitting. Located in the basement past the food court in a La Moana shopping center. Parking is ample.
