Itchy Butt

This is a must visit if you love fried chicken!!!!!I swear Hawaii has some of the best fried chicken I've ever had!!!!I ordered the garlic fried chicken bowl and damn it's the best garlic fried chicken I've ever had!!The fried chicken is golden crisp and juicy!!!It's a small little restaurant on the corner of the street with minimal parking spaces so I parked on the street by the park.It's a small little window where you order from and food took about 10 mins to come out and also there isn't any seating, it's all for take out!This is another hidden food gem in Hawaii!!!!!!!!

No but seriously, you guys need to check this place out when in Oahu!Keep in mind, their business is located on a corner street with not the best parking lot. I suggest street parking and enjoy a walk. Itchy Butt is an ordering window. Their menu is pretty straight forward. We ordered the Bulgogi Rice Bowl and the 1/2 Shoyu Chicken Wings. OMG the wings are HUGE! SO MUCH FLAVOR! They marinade was delicious! Sweet, savory and addicting!!! Same goes for the Bulgogi Rice Bowl! It was a little spicy but the sweetness of the meat balanced it out. I def recommend checking this place out when in Oahu! It's a great spot for that quick bite to eat!

I had the most amazing experience at Itchy Butt! The chicken was absolutely incredible--crispy, juicy, and not chewy at all. I didn't have to spit out a single bite; every piece was perfectly cooked and full of flavor.The side order of spicy sauce is an absolute must-try. It adds the perfect kick to the chicken without overpowering the natural flavors. I'm still dreaming about how delicious it was!This place has won me over, and I'll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend if you're looking for top-notch fried chicken done right.

Drove by and saw a huge line so figured this is a place that I would like to try. It's takeout only and the parking isn't the best. The guy at the window isn't the friendliest, but the chicken is good. Definitely not the best I've ever had, but it was good. We ordered the half order of the garlic chicken. We definitely wanted to try two flavors, but the only option was to order the whole chicken and that was just way too much for us. When you order the half it truly is half a chicken so there are some pieces that are not as big and didn't have much meat. It's not like it's just thighs and drumsticks. The garlic chicken was flavorful and wasn't too greasy. I would suggest calling in the order since there's really no place to wait and they cook it fresh so there's a bit of a wait.

Yummy hole in the wall, good prices and yummy flavors. Parking is a bit tough. Chicken bowl was so good, asked for the sauce in the side so it wouldn't get soggy and they had no issue!

Best to call head but service is really fast. The menu is pretty simple and the chicken is very crispy and delicious.

Take-out only, order ahead via phone or from the window. Service is curt but fast. They give you an accurate wait time over the phone. Parking is street and not in the best area so don't take too long! The chicken was OK. It was clearly hot/fresh which was great. The garlic sauce was very good. The shoyu was way salty. The chicken itself was kind of bland/flavorless and not as juicy. Pieces were big and generous. We got the "whole" chicken for 2 people and it was way too much food - better for 3-4 people for sure. Would go for the half next time and maybe add a side instead. Wish they gave a little more pickled daikon to go with a whole chicken. I think I like Good Chicken more, but this is a not bad option since it's in a more accessible location than Waikiki (since the Good Chicken Kakaako location has been closed).

Never felt so sick after eating here. The chicken was so so oily like they never drained it or maybe old refried chicken. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Despite the strange name this place has an islandwide reputation for good chicken. Parking is very limited: there is no seating. While it is a pick up and go place, it serves chicken that is good right now. It is best to limit the time from when you pick it up to when you eat it.

Gave this place a try for the first time and it was awesome. Called in our order and it was ready when I got there. For its location parking can be a little tricky if they're busy but luckily they weren't when I went by. We ordered a half order of Shoyu Chicken, Cheese Sticks and a Bulgogi Bowl with a Fried Egg which also came with 2 drinks. They give big portions so the box they gave me the food in was soo heavy. The chicken was sticky, delicious and huge! These were no small little chicken wings. I swear a few were drumstick sized. They also went perfectly with the pickled radish that comes with it. The Cheese Sticks were crunchy and filled with melted cheese but you gotta eat them when they're fresh and hot. The Bulgogi Bowl was full of tender and very well seasoned meat and adding the fried egg was the best touch.
