Islander Weddings

I want to express how happy we were with the ceremony Robert and Naomi created for us. It just couldn't have been better--it was exactly what we'd hoped for. Robert has a gentle, wise, considerate demeanor and Naomi's singing and playing were simply lovely--it was beautiful and intimate. We were so much in the moment! Our family and friends were impressed with the photos Robert took and remarked on how happy we looked. :) Thank you again, Robert and Naomi--you made our private, meaningful elopement dream come true!

Robert was wonderful ! Even with the weather he suggested us to move the wedding a day earlier and everything was beautiful! Including the weather ! Ukulele singer was sooooo good! And made our day. When your best friend and all-time favorite person proposes during a pandemic, you just don't want to wait to be married. Robert was fantastic!!! He took great care to make sure our day was what we wanted. He suggested a fantastic spot that was a great setting for the ceremony and a stunning backdrop for photos. I have a absolute confidence that he can deliver the wedding of your dreams whether your style is big and fancy or more of a simple beach ceremony.

We renewed our vows this past week in Hawaii with the help of Robert and his lovely wife. I cant say enough good things about it. We wanted a simple ceremony on the beach and they made it happen. They helped pick the location and it was perfect. They took their time to make it special for us and we really appreciated it. We highly recommend Islander Weddings.

Planning a wedding from 2000 miles away is no easy task. Robert and crew definitely made it easier and such a stream lined process. Plus We get home 1 week after our wedding to a disk of our photos! So excited to view them.

Robert was extremely flexible and helpful and did everything he could to ensure my husband and I got married. We had originally planned to get married on August 8th during sunrise at Makapu'u beach, and I was supposed to bring my family, but Hawaii's mandatory 14 day quarantine was extended! Robert promptly emailed me and let me know about the extension and was willing to help me if I wanted to push back our wedding. I said no, that I wanted to continue woth our planned date but my family would no longer be there with me and I would have to quarantine for 2 weeks. All was going to plan until 2 DAYS before we were supposed to get married the governor of Hawaii announced that all beaches were to close at midnight on Friday (we were supposed to be married Saturday morning). I emailed Robert around 10pm frantically asking what we could do. I was sobbing because it felt like all the odds were stacked against us getting married. Thankfully Robert got back to me early in the morning stating that we could move the wedding up to that day and that he already contacted the photographer and that she was able to make it as well. He offered a new time and a new location since Makapu'u was mostly ideal for the sunrise and now we would be married at sunset. He said we could keep our old location if we wanted but I went along with his suggestion and I am SO GLAD I did. We ended up getting married on August 7th at Sandy beach at sunset and it was so incredibly beautiful. They arrived earlier than us and picked out a nice secluded spot for our ceremony. During the ceremony, I started to tear up and Robert was prepared with tissues for me. Afterwards he helped us fill out our paperwork and explained how he would submit everything online THAT NIGHT so that we could get our marriage certificate as fast as possible, since I told him we needed our certificate for paperwork we needed to complete with the military while I was still on island. The photographer, Michelle, made us feel comfortable and did all she could to get the perfect shot. She was literally climbing in the bushes and balancing over the rocks to get the best angles! It was worth it because they turned out amazing and I am soooo happy with how they look. Overall, I would 10000% reccomend Islander Weddings to anyone looking to get married on O'ahu.

Islander Weddings did an absolutely fabulous job with our wedding! The bouquet I purchased through them was beautiful as were the leis. I also added a heart of rose petals in the sand for the 2 of us to stand in which turned out very nice. The photographer who was hired for our ceremony - Jolene Kaneshige - did an outstanding job and was very easy to work with (I attached a couple of her photos from the ceremony). Robert personalized the ceremony as requested and it was exactly what we were hoping for. The ukelele player, who's name I cannot remember, played a song at the start and the end of the ceremony and he was very talented - everyone enjoyed this part of the ceremony! Overall they were very easy to work with and so accommodating, which relieves a lot of stress when planning a destination wedding! I highly recommend Islander Weddings and Robert Roche.

It was the best day of our lives! Everything was perfect! It was peaceful, full of love and positive energy all over. Robert and Naomi have such a good energy! I am so happy that we found them to do our wedding. My husband and I decided to have a simple ceremony just with the two of us here in Hawaii. We started to research officiants and photographers, then we found the packages with Islander weddings. I am so grateful we did! Robert and Naomi made of our wedding an unforgettable day! We are so thankful, thank you so much for making our day so especial! You two will always be present in our memories! The pictures came out lovely!! And, I have no words to express our happiness! Islander Weddings was wonderful! They made our wedding stress free and memorable. Everyone involved in our wedding was fun and so helpful. We loved the musician, the limo driver, the officiant, and the photographer. Our day was full of rainbows and lots of laughs. Thank you for all the happy memories on our special day.
