Pretty good shave iceI'll just speak for both shave ice since flavor doesnt have that much power. Pretty good. I like how big it is for a hawaiian shave ice. Soft shave ice. Mochi was delectably chewy. Ice cream at the bottom (as all hawaiian shave ice are). ExtraStill highly recommend for any hawaiian shave ice, to order for yourself even if you want to share. My favorite shave ice in Oahu! We come here every time we're in Hawaii! I am in love their homemade mochi! It's soft with the perfect amount of chewiness and is slightly sweet.We ordered the Pink Island, Green Island, and a customized shave ice with strawberry/mango. My favorite flavor was the matcha which came in Green Island followed closely by the Lychee-mint flavor in Pink Island. I also enjoyed the Yuzu. I prefer this location to the Island Vintage stand that's farther down Waikiki. This one is inside and has AC which is refreshing, especially in Hawaii's hot weather. I will, without a doubt, be returning next time I am in Oahu! I cannot recommend this shave ice more! Phenomenal!

Good shaved ice overall. Tried the fruit one with blueberries. The yogurt on the bottom is tart flavored.Overall a lot of stuff wasn't available, possibly from overload of patrons. Comfortable seating inside with limiting seating and it can get busy.2 people were staffed so they might have been short staffed. They looked stressed but still did a great job.Decent shaved ice for the area.The music is blasting way too loud.

While visiting Hawaii, I knew I had to try shaved ice, and Vintage Island Shaved Ice did not disappoint! It's a nice little shop covenant located right across from the beach. The cashier was super nice and helped me decide on my purchase. I wish the offered samples. The flavors were rich and delicious, making for a refreshing treat. I wasn't a huge fan of the bursting boba or the filling, but that's just personal preference. Overall, it was a great experience, and I actually wish I could have tried more flavors! If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit.

Açaí bowl was amazing and the kids loved their shaved ice. The store is super clean with lots of indoor seating. I loved their merchandise for sale as well. Friendly staff. ....We will be going again today!

Lots of yummy options here and this is what I went for:HAUPIA MOANA AÇAÍ BOWL - $13.95 - 8ozOrganic Açaí, topped with Frozen Haupia Cream, Shaved Coconut, Berries, Local Banana, Papaya, Big Island Honey, Organic Granola.That honey was a nice touch and everything about this was pretty darn good. Although a "small" size this is pretty shareable. The berries were raspberries which I loved!HOJICHA LATTE FLOAT - $9.50 - 16ozToasted Green Tea with Oat Milk and Vanilla Gelato.It's usually served with soft serve milk ice cream but their machine is broken. But it's still really good with strong hojicha flavor! It's the right amount of sweetness for dessert, and very well enjoyed.HAWAIIAN RAINBOW SHAVED ICE - $10.95Coconut(spirulina), mango, strawberry, soft ice cream.I appreciate this not tasting too sweet and the flavors are natural! None of that fake colored syrup! Oh and the Homemade Mochi toppings (+$1.95) is so soft and fun to eat!Keep in mind there are no public restrooms, even for customers. I suggest going to the hotel resort around the corner by the pool area, cuz that's what we needed to do when my friend's toddler needed to pee, haha.

Shave ice is a must-have in Hawaii! Island Vintage offers some of the smoothest and tastiest shave ice combinations out there. Not to mention, the milk ice cream is absolutely delicious. You can either create your own combination or choose from their pre-made menu. I particularly love the lychee mint and matcha shave ice; it's unlike anything I've ever had and is so refreshing. The mochi is amazing--soft and chewy.I've tried the Pink Island and also made my own with matcha and lychee mint as my main flavors. It comes out pretty quickly as well. Not much of a long wait probably less than 10 minutes. There is also a lot of seating inside and outside. I really wish shave ice like this was available back in California. I'm missing it so much!

I came here to try the açai bowl in addition to the shaved ice and I will say that the shaved ice is much better than the açai bowl. If visiting, I would recommend you try the shaved ice over the açai. The service was also not great at this location and I would go to the other one around the block.

I went here with a friend after doing the Manoa falls hike and then going to the beach after. It is located right across the street from the beach. We ordered the rainbow shaved ice which came with coconut, mango and strawberry flavoring, mochi and vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt. It was a pretty large serving and was a nice snack after being outside for a while. They did not have complimentary water and we bought 2 waters for $5 each. They also do not have any restrooms available for customers.
