The owner Rose is very thoughtful, considerate, caring and creative. She helped me by supplying flowers and bouquets on short notice. Prices are reasonable and her arrangements beautiful. I especially like the little touches she adds to her bouquets. Especially fond of her "Unicorn" roses.Thank you for your support and Aloha. Mahalo

I ordered some flowers for my girlfriend for pickup but couldn't pick it up due to contracting COVID-19. I called the store to them tell my situation and the owner was very kind and empathetic. The owner asked how I was doing and offered to delivery the flowers for free due to my circumstances. She is such thoughtful and lovely person. The flowers were beautiful and exceeded my expectations, it was put together with love and a special personal touch. My girlfriend was ecstatic about the white roses she got.I would definitely recommend getting flowers here.

I've been going to Island roses for well over a decade. She always comes through and its obvious she loves what she does. Every flower my wife ever got was from her and she has loved the flowers so much. I will not go anywhere else.

My husband ordered flowers through FTD, which used Island Roses to do the actual delivery. When the arrangement first arrived, it was beautiful: 18 lovely red roses, with "upgraded greenery." They were delivered on Thursday morning (Valentine's day), and by Saturday, they were starting to look a little droopy. By Sunday, a third of the buds were bent all the way over and petals were starting to accumulate on my counter. So, I called FTD on Sunday - they have a 7 day freshness guarantee, so they contacted the company to replace the arrangement the next day. Easy-peasy. I received a call from the company on Monday saying that the delivery would have to be delayed until Tuesday, as they had encountered some issues with their supplier. On Tuesday (which was today), I received the new delivery. When the delivery guy came this morning, the original flowers were dead - every single flower was bent over on itself, and the petals were dried out and crunchy. Up until this moment, I can kind of chalk it up to, "Valentine's Day must be crazy for them; every once in a while this happens, etc."Here's the tipping point for me: the new flowers aren't at all "arranged." There is none of the "upgraded greenery" that my husband wanted (and paid for). The vase isn't the 10" designated in the FTD order card. It looks like someone put some basic greenery in there, then grabbed a handful of roses and jabbed them in the middle. It seems like one of those horror stories - the restaurant patron sends back a plate of food, only to have the wait staff spit in it.The icing on the cake?? A couple of petals on the new flowers are just one soft breeze from falling off. To sum up: I know that sometimes things happen, but I've had grocery store roses that have lasted longer than this bouquet. Next, if replacement is necessary, the replacement should be the same 'tier,' in regards to the vase and greenery, etc. UPDATE: I woke up this morning - less than 24 hours after the replacement bouquet was delivered - and saw petals on the counter and sad-looking, droopy roses. I called FTD, who ended up giving us a full refund (yay FTD!) when I told them that, at this point, I didn't even want to hassle with getting another arrangement. I took pictures for proof, and then arranged the flowers worth saving myself. 6. There were 6 flowers worth saving, and a couple of them will probably be tossed later on today or tomorrow. For $123, I would expect long lasting roses in an arrangement. Neither of those things happened. Now I'm going to march my happy self down to Sweet Leilani's on Dillingham and get something of quality.
