Island Popper Gourmet Popcorn

Still my popcorn go-to. I pick up party favors, gifts for friends, snacks for me and mom. The flavors keep changing and I am always on the lookout for the Buffalo Ranch. It is the best feature flavor, IMO.All the flavors are great. I picked up a bunch of bags and cups today and discovered FINGER TONGS. They will make excellent luncheon favors with the bags of Tsunami Mix.The shop is very clean and inviting. The displays are clearly marked and items are tagged with content flavor names. The decor is all popcorn related and oh so cute! Only a few stalls deemed for IP, but there are other stalls in the lot, as well as street parking. Be patient around the holidays when picking orders up. Online shopping with shipping and scheduled pick up times are available. Might be a good idea to order online as opposed to walking in to order. The gals are usually very busy packing orders. Do not be put off. Definitely get online and order! You can thank me later! Happy snacking!!

Easy to find location with several parking stalls fronting the store. Nice atmosphere with very friendly staff. They are accommodating and clearly enjoy working together and with customers. While they are hard workers, they will always find time to give samples and suggestions. I enjoy the popcorn and the individual packets they sell. The furikake and Cheddar is a stand out and my personal favorite.

Located in Kalihi just off Dillingham Boulevard, this shop offers a selection of delicious popcorn mixes and flavors.I decided to purchase a bag of the Tsunami Mix, which features a perfect blend of furikake, butter, kakimochi, and popcorn. The popcorn here is made with non-GMO corn and popped in 100% coconut oil, creating a delightful mix of salty and buttery flavors. Besides the Tsunami Mix, they also offer other delicious combinations like the Big Island Mix, which blends popcorn, furikake, butter, and caramel, and the Aloha Mix, featuring furikake, cheddar, and caramel. If you prefer simpler flavors, options like Hawaiian Sea Salt and Cheddar Cheese are also available.The shop itself is spacious, and the workers were friendly and quick to bag my popcorn, enhancing the overall experience. With a variety of tasty mixes and prompt, friendly service, it's definitely worth a visit.

Yay to freshly popped popcorn. There's different sizes you can order and you can also customize your orders too. They have already made batches and when I came in since it's almost Halloween some of the packaging was Halloween themed. I ordered their "Kauai" which was their furikake popcorn mixed with cheese popcorn. This was a good combo. Also ordered their class furikake hurricane mix popcorn that comes with mochi crunch. Great place to get popcorn! Luckily they made a lil extra popcorn for me that couldn't fit in the bag so they put the extra popcorn in a paper bag for me to eat right away. I will come back to grab Holiday goodies for my co-workers!

I had no clue about Island Popper Gourmet Popcorn existed! The Tsunami Mix was what I first. My friend, who was visiting, bought by a bag from Hawaiian Chip Company while buying Hawaiian Chips. We started eating the bag in the car and I was amazed how good it tasted. I'm not one for eating mixed popcorn. I usually like Kettle or Caramel. She wanted to buy more Hawaiian Chips and get another Tsunami Mix Popcorn to take home. That's when they told us about the storefront of Island Popper Gourmet Popcorn. Naturally, we decided to go there after paying for more Hawaiian chips she wanted. It was the last day for the Ube Mix. I ended up buying a bag of the Ube Mix for myself and another and Tsunami mix for my mom in California. The Ube Mix was the special for the week and was the last day for the Ube Mix. The special for this week is Pumpkin Spice celebrating Thanksgiving in 6 months. When you read the ingredients it isn't artificial they use ingredients you would know and understand. The staff are friendly and will give you free samples to taste.

I've always been buying this popcorn for years but never went to this actual store. I didn't realize there were so many options for flavors. There was no wait. Service was quick and our popcorn was ready in minutes.My favorite is the tsunami flavor. I like that the popcorn can last a long time and doesn't get stale. I will definitely be back to get more!

Really tasty! Popcorn is very crunchy and flavorful. I can finish one Large bag in one day.

Forgot to check in my initial visit so I took advantage of 10% off with check in deal today. Picked up 4 large bags of this month's special flavor - Lava Flow to take as omiyage to friends on the Big Island. Service-awesome! Because the flavor of the month ends on 7/27 and I'm not seeing my friends until 8/5, I messaged to find out how long the bags stay fresh and got a quick response that they stay fresh for six weeks, and cups for two weeks. I was sold, and went to pick up the bags on 7/25, confident they'll still be fresh on 8/5. They provided a sample of the Lava Flow flavor and I liked it, a slightly sweet taste. Bought a bag for myself since I really liked it! Saw their finger chopsticks to keep your fingers clean and decided to add that to the gifts for my friends since they had an anniversary special of 3 lge bags for $20 (+ $1 per bag for the special flavor). But with that discount and the Yelp check in discount it was a great bargain for everything! Even for myself a finger chopstick!

After less than a week, I was craving their popcorn so much (since I ate all the cups I bought already ;D), that I downloaded their app from their website and ordered several large bags. The app is so easy to use and very useful, too. You can see what's new and any specials they are offering. I saw the caramel macadamia nut flavor on special, so I bought one for myself and one for my daughter, as well as a few more of the other flavors. You can set a date and time for pickup, and they will notify you by email when the order is ready. My order was ready early, which was good since I was already on my way, and I was in and out with my goodies in only a minute. I'll probably gain a few extra pounds because of this, but it's worth it!

Friendly, attentive service. Addicting snack! Wish the caramel popcorn was a tad less sweet. Then it would be perfect!
