Hidden gem by dillingham blvd, is nice and clean and free parking. The only thing you have to look at is the date of the products. Some are manufacturing date some might be expired. So bring more people shop there and they can rotate new products quick. Went there for rice ball but came out whole bunch of other things. Very nice place if you struggle to find parking at China town.

My new favorite Asian market! Selection is enormous - could definitely be a one-stop shop! Frozen section, produce, dried goods and noodles. Meat selection is minimal but this shop has everything!Cleanest and nicest smelling shop too

Disappointing to say, Chinatown isn't quite the place as it used to be. It was once the place to purchase fresh and unique produce at the cheapest price (no tax helps too), but now, there are more options outside of Chinatown with similar or even better prices, and also better parking.Island Green Mart is one of those newer places, and I've become an instant fan after shopping here a couple of times. It's conveniently located along Dillingham Blvd., across Honolulu Community College. Yes, get the rail construction going on, but it's not that bad getting there. Just bumpy. There's plenty of parking, and no other businesses sharing it.The inside is like a warehouse. Right side has all your frozen and dried goods, sauces, instant noodles, snacks, and etc. There's a chill section with noodles, tofu, eggs, and etc. Though, this section doesn't seem cold enough as I spotted too many noodles with mold. The left corner takes you to the produce section with a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. This section is even more cooler! The variety is predominantly Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, and Filipino items. There's also a meat section where you'll find a wide variety of different cuts of duck, pork, and beef. You'll find many unique cuts as well such pork uterus, duck head, pork and duck blood, pig tails, and etc!Overall, I enjoyed shopping here. There are a lot of excellent deals if you purchase multiple items. The prices are typical to Chinatown and other places with a decent amount of variety. But not quite enough Chinese vegetables. Everything is fresh and well packaged. The whole store is quite clean and organized with everything clearly marked. The staff here are very friendly and nice. This is definitely my new go-to place!

Three and a half stars. It has a lot of items and the place is huge. It's not crowded and the produce is pretty fresh and at a great discount! Maybe I went on a sale day without knowing but they had a few items on sale. I wanted cilantro, a few spicy sauces and a few other items for I didn't want to go into Chinatown. Great selection of noodles as well as a few other items.

It's an upscale Chinatown Farmer's Market. The fresh produce is situated in a room area to the left as you enter Island Green Mart.I will hand it to Island Green Mart for the cleanest vegetable hands down! And the layout is organized. I recently noticed that all outer island produce is at one area of the Produce Section, so look carefully if you want Big Island Lychee or Big Island MangoInteresting enough is their meat department. If you're lookin for cuts other that the basics you can find in a supermarket, this is the place to check.Their dry goods come from all areas of Pacific Asia. You'll find Thai spices, Vietnamese Noodles, Chinese pastries and the list goes on.If you've not visited this establishment, I suggest you get there and check it out. Oh- one more thing- Priced Right so much so that I overlook the construction on Dillingham Blvd.

Clean, spacious, organized, with free parking in front, what more could you want in an Asian grocery?Removed from the griminess and hustle and bustle of Chinatown, you can feel safe and calm shopping in this warehouse and you don't have to hold your breath to avoid disturbing odors. It carries just about everything -fruits and vegetables. meats, frozen seafood, and packaged and canned goods from many different Asian and Southeast Asian restaurants. The only thing that might deter you a bit from getting there is the Dillingham construction in front of the Alakawa Costco. The road is rough and you need to know where to turn in but you can feel like you're in the Philippines or Thailand for an authentic experience.

Have been avoiding the dilingham area because of the ongoing road work but I guess I may have yo go there more often now! Island Green Mart is a relatively new Asian supermarket on Dilingham. It's easier to get there from the west and they got plenty of parking. They mainly sell groceries from South East Asia. Chinese groceries mainly from mainland China instead of Hong Kong or Taiwan. No Japanese or Korean products but that's ok those you can find at other stores! They also have a good selection of produce. There are some foods that I don't usually see at other supermarkets (at least I haven't) such as pork brain, balut, etc. Price is reasonable. Definitely not as cheap as Chinatown but it's clean and convenient you don't have to worry about parking :)

We live in East Oahu and love going to this place! I'm a haole with excentric tastes. I get my whole duck (with the head on so I can blow it up with an air pump), and offal here (beef heart, gizzards, and even duck tongues - fry em up with beers! etc.). If you want to make South Asian foods, like Pho or Filipino Bulalo, this place is great for the fresh beef or pork marrow bones. The vegetable/fruit section is huge and great prices...especially Thai basil and mint. The folks are super friendly.

I love discovering new Asian grocery stores! I always pass by this place when making my way to Costco - I randomly decided to take a look at what they had to offer. It's literally a ONE STOP shop for all your Asian needs! Mainly southeast asian + Chinese groceries. From the different Asian produce that you CANT find at other stores, the condiments, cuts of meats, snacks, etc...What intrigued me the most is how they had a wide range of different rice papers and noodles. They literally carried a big variety of things I haven't heard of either! It's really hard coming across an Asian grocery store that has it all coming from a south East Asian - BUT they had everything you need for any dish like pho and carried fresh pho noodles!! I saw that they had a sign for fresh fish/seafood, but didn't see any. They mainly offered the frozen option - but had a BIG variety compared to other Asian markets like hmart or seafood city who only caters to certain Asian groups. They cater to a lot of different various Asian groups! The prices were reasonable and slightly cheaper as well! They had some items buy 2 get 1 free!! Which I felt is like a good deal in this economy. I highly recommend!!!! I will definitely be going back.
