Last year, in the middle of a 4 day and night 35-50 mph wind storm, we discovered this wonderful secret!!!They have prepared food, and a huge menu they can make fresh as well. It was 3 blocks from our hotel, and it saved us from ggoing out in the howling wind. The best part was the prices were EXTREMELY reasonable!!I'm including photos I took yesterday. I cannot recommend the salmon, as the sauce on top was very salty. The kalbi was boneless and very tasty!!

nice, but needs more sit-down tables & chairs. there's lots of room for more sit-down area -- just reduce areas for hard liquor, clothes, etc.during the last days of the former Wailana Coffee House, it looked like the owner-operator had make-shift a/c temporary fixes. and now Island Country leaves its wide doors wide-OPEN letting their chilled a/c air out to the sidewalk!no parking validation. the basement parking now has a gate.

I stayed in a hotel across the street from this market, and it was amazing. It's basically everything I could have asked for in a market. I was able to get some toiletries, they had groceries, and I got lots of food from here. The staff was also super friendly and helpful. For my first meal, I got a chicken katsu musubi, a boba drink, a red bean paste bun, and salmon skin chips - everything was excellent and honestly addictive. They also had an expansive fresh food station where they would make things like fresh sushi, ramen, fried chicken, pizza, boba, and baked goods. I got the poke once and it was impeccable. I also got a lemonade from here a few times and it was perfect. I plan on coming back here, and this market was honestly one of my favorite parts of Hawaii.

This store is awesome! It's not just any kind of market store. You are able to pick out hot meals from a menu where they prepared fresh. We ordered the Loco Moco and pepperoni pizza. Great portions for the price and many options to choose from. Food was delicious! This company is owned by ABC stores which we loved to visit each time on the Hawaiian Islands. They have great selection on alcoholic drinks at good prices you wouldn't believe. It's my go to when I feel like drinking. Service is wonderful. Super friendly staff always greeting you with lots of Aloha! Very cleaned and organized store. They also offered pastries, ice creams, fruit teas. Nice spot to buy souvenirs and other necessities you may need for your convenience. Don't hesitate to check this place out because it's truly one of my favorite!

Loved this little country market. It's simply best described as "convenient!" Walking around at first, I thought I was in an ABC Store. Later finding out that they are related to the ABC Stores. This location provides a lot necessities I'd say. Everything from produce, to medicine, to tourist souvenirs, sandals, and ABC t-shirts. And of course drinks galore from coffee, to wine and various beers. The place was fairly wide and fairly busy, but not as big as some of the ABC stores that are at the malls. For the most part, the place was well-maintained I'd say. Items stocked up, and zoners pulling items forward making the shelves look full. Tip: If you're grabbing a cold can of anything, grab from the back lol.My favorite part was the Island Deli. And service from the ladies behind the counter was helpful. So many good items to choose from on the menu. But the things that caught my eyes were the Poke Bowl ($14.49 / 2 choices of poke) and a Kalua Pork Loco Moco ($12.99). Oh man, both items were so worth it! Next time I'm grabbing a breakfast burrito.

This place was spacious and clean, pretty much as expected, a bigger upscale version of ABC with takeout foods and groceries. The service was excellent, which I expected as they just opened and ABC generally provides good customer service. We had the Prime Rib for takeout. It was under seasoned but the quality of meat was good. The side pasta salads, rainbow rotini was very good but pesto pasta salad was bland. And surprisingly, the brown rice was impressive as it was moist and chewy, just the way I like it. However, the mashed potatoes tasted like the powder one and didn't taste that good.I'm into wine so I checked that area closely. Some wines didn't seem to have price tags. Most of them were more expensive than other stores that I go to, but the selection was decent. As for groceries, I liked that they had different selections of foods from the Food Pantry (another grocery store) right around the corner. That gives us consumers options. Overall, I liked this place and will definitely be back.

I love how Island Country Markets is just another branch of the ABC store. This store has also a sushi, deli, and drink station! The gelato that they have right now is AMAZING! The service and ambiance is very nice and is usually with families eating out in the front! I loved stopping by for a late night snack and meals to enjoy right before going to my hotel nearby!

Was staying at a hotel nearby and stopped in to something quick to eat. I was very surprised at the amount of stuff they had. They had groceries/fresh produce, marinated meat for impromptu bbqs, grab and go hot and cold food selection, coffee, boba, gelato, gift/souvenirs, toiletries, basic OTC meds, personal needs items, and clothing. Definitely stuff that you would need if you forgot to pack something and don't want to travel far.Everything is clean and well stocked and the employees are super nice! Of course you pay Waikiki prices but to have most of want you need is one place is a good deal.

Good place to grab deli food on this side of Waikiki. Food is ok and service is reasonably quick (~ 5 minutes), but the lines were total chaos at dinner time on a Saturday. Stop in about 30 minutes before sunset, then walk down Kalia Rd past Hale Koa to Fort Derussy Beach Park (~ 12 min) and sit on the wall next to the boardwalk to watch the sunset.
