The female who answered the phone was very rude. I mentioned this to a coworker and she agreed. What a shame that she represents her workplace and she's answering the phone with an attitude!!!

Cashier ("aa" according to my receipt) is actually the rudest person I've ever encountered. She's an Asian lady who comes off as if you're disturbing her by asking her any sort of question related to her store. She snapped at me after she ignored my first question. I asked if she was able to find my account. She snapped and said something to the effect of "duh, or else I wouldn't let you purchase." Insert eye roll. The other reviews echo the same experience I had with her. Please shop around and perhaps use this as a last resort for your professional products. The other lady with a bun is a treasure and usually helps me but she was assisting another customer.

I like it but it's only for hair specialist specifically I wish i knew that before i walked all the way from waikiki

You have to be licensed to come here! They used to be open to the public and allowed everyone, while they kept professional products in the back. Not sure what changed. But they are now only open to those who have their license.Luckily I am a licensed cosmologist and I'm able to come and purchase product here. They have great brands, Redkin, Dermalogica, Alterna, Pravana, OPI, China glaze, and the list goes on..The workers here are always friendly and do help out with giving advice or opinions on products. They do have another location in Waipahu, but I'm always at this one! If your licensed definitely find your way here and check it out!

Honestly some of the worst customer service i've had on island. I had a bad experience my first time here but I figured I would give it a second try because I wanted to shop local instead of online.The second visit may have been worse. Dismissive and arrogant employees. I left without buying anything. This seems to be a trend in the reviews so maybe it's something that should be fixed, if you want to continue to have customers.

Shopping here is like being a kid in a candy store with so many great products and a wide range of variety to choose from. Kat was a major help with her recommendations! I highly recommend shopping here!!

I just wanted to do a shout out for Kat at Island beauty supply. As soon as you walk in, she greets you with a smile and knows every product in the store. She recommends product because she actually has used it. Customer service is excellent because of Kat and product availability is always on point.

Zero star ratings for these people and their service. We own a few building in the area. My mom has been doing hair for many years and wanted to check out their store and what they have while me and my sister went across to HMart. A lady started going off at my sister in the parking lot while my mom was in their store purchasing products. They have some major issues with parking and control when there is NO CUSTOMERS in their store or in their parking lot. The red head lady is rude and stalks people in the EMPTY parking lot telling everyone that she is saving them from a tow of $200. No Aloha. Sad that they are located in our loving Kaka'ako Community because they do not belong in this peaceful area. If you guys want beauty products go elsewhere. It is not worth the bad vides and drama they give to their customers.

Island beauty Supply is a great place for those in the industry. Go see Kat. Kat is always helpful and she's super knowledgeable.

man, if you could give zero stars I would!! Whoever owns this location needs to fire that asian cashier! She is the most rudest unsympathetic witch! I totally understand that the public isn't allowed to shop...i totally get how it would get nuts if everyone could come in! But my grandmother who is 94 yrs old and only renews her license to get professional quality hair color to color her hair! (yes, she still colors her hair!) she sent me to go get a couple of tubes. I was talking to an older haole lady who was trying to look me up in the system just in case. The bitchy asian lady the whole time while we're talking, very sassy, kept saying no no she has to come in store! I told i've come in before to just buy it and that's it but she kept cutting me off and kept saying no no no exceptions! They wouldn't even let me call my granma and get verbal consent! mind you my hair is salt and pepper and there's no way i know what any beauty products are on a professional level! I hope she gets a taste of her own medicine and someone fucks her over! must kill her to be nice to people! I WILL ONLY SHOP AT COSMO PROF...which she told me to take my business to any way!
