Really loved their fruit sandwich! I wanted to try the oreo and strawberry one but they had just ran out, so I opted for the mixed fruit one instead - Strawberry, Kiwi, Pineapple, and even Banana as well! It was a perfect sweetness and definitely want to come back for the oreo sando later!- Miguel Morales Photography

When the time is ripe we certainly need the fruit to brighten our days!Island Banana Juice is a delightfully fresh place to have your sweet cravings and C to keep your day flowing. You can find them at the Honolulu Farmers Market at the Blaisdell lawn on Wednesday evening 4pm-7pm with free parking just steps away. Here you can get your sweetness and more from smoothies, Banana Juice and what visual delighted me was something that was a must have whenever I'm in Japan is the "Fruit Sando" and here they do have them and in a kawaii art form. Today I just had to have one and I guess I was too excited as I didn't take a picture of they menu choices buuuut check out their Instagram @island_banana_juice as they post their availability and location on the regular. This week fruit sandwich:- Strawberry- Flower (Mandarin & Kiwi)- Mango- Hawaiian Mix (Banana, Mango, Pineapple with sweet potato cream)- DragonfruitEach fruit sandwich is filled with the fruit noted surrounded by whipped cream all tucked in a white bread. Each serving is half a sandwich and they lost one star as it's just simply plastic wrapped and if not consumed immediately the $6 to $7 Sammies loses it's beauty and it all goes bleh!Hoping to try their smoothies the next time as they have so many yummy choices with the option of soy milk is great! Thank you!

Business is at Honolulu Farmers Market on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. It located outside of Blaisdell Concert Hall. Owner is husband and wife who speaks Japanese. The menu has 5 fruit sandwiches and drinks. The customer before me bought a shake for her daughter. My order was strawberry sandwich with whipped cream on Japanese white bread. Sandwich was made already. Female owner told me to eat sandwich right away because of the whipped cream. When I got home 20 minutes later, I ate the sandwich and whipped cream was fine. Strawberry was sweet.Instagram is island_banana_juice. I will definitely come back again to try the drinks because I challenge myself to try new food items.

I ordered a strawberry chocolate banana juice for $8. It was okay, but kinda small for the price, and tasted like i could've made it myself at home. Moving on.Then after finishing my drink i decide my puppy should have a treat too. I go back and ask the ponytail guy if i can buy a cup of whipped cream for my dog. He says no, sorry, we dont have whipped cream, but we do have sandwiches with whipped cream in it. So i look at the menu and whipped cream is included in one of their photos posted on their tent for their most expensive item which is $10. So i say, but its right here in the "Supreme" banana juice including whipped cream and a few other toppings(or whatever its called) and he says you have to buy the whole thing, or add it on as a topping to one of their other flavors. So i say, "ill give you $10 for a small cup with just a little bit of whipped cream in it for my dog, and you can keep the rest of the stuff, i only want the whipped cream". And he says, "no, i feel bad but i cannot.."I am baffled. I dont understand why a small business would turn down a huge profit margin for something so simple. Blows my mind. Was this personal? I treated him with respect so im not sure. Either way way, we wont be back.
