We came here on a whim and it ended up being our favorite beer spot on the island. The brewer used to work for Barebottle in SF and he brings his expertise to all the beers he brews. Fun and delicious- you gotta check it out!

Popped in for some local brews after a beautiful morning on the water. We were welcomed by a smiling employee who mentioned some of her favorites. We tried pours of Holy Trinity (Hazy IPA), Raspberry Whip and Prickly Pear Punch (Sours), and a robust Burnt Out Bulb (Pastry Stout). All were excellent. It was obvious to us all the Brewmaster has some serious skills. We enjoyed the ambiance of this small town garage brewery.

Really small brewery - it's easy to miss when you're driving by. They have plenty of parking but there's only about 6 small tables inside. Only 7 taps and usually one person working. The girl that's been there both times I went was really friendly and helpful. Since the selection is limited, I hope you have a wide pallet for beers. The Ube Colada seltzer was heavenly, one of the best I've had! Closest thing to a smoothie style beer I've had on island. They're more pricey than other breweries on island as well. The IPAs aren't too bad but Da Dank was far too hoppy for me. Not a bad place to stop for a drink or two.

Small brewery that is known for sours but as one review said - it is lacking in atmosphere (but then again, aren't most brewery's in warehouses often in the middle of a random shopping area). They only serve 7oz. pours or crowler cans. Only had 5 beers on tap. Started with Curran-ly Blueberry and Guava Raspberry sours. In a Haze IPA was just ok.

(Drank 05/17/23 WE @ 2:00pm): I somewhat had to drive inward on this island to locate these ales!Inu Island Ales was the next brewery in my exploration of the burgeoning craft brewery industry on the Hawaiian Islands but specifically on O'ahu this time around. I loved beer to no end and made it a point to visit any breweries wherever I may be. They were a tad out of the way from my homebase, so would they leave a positive impression on me to venture to this part of the island for more ales!?PURCHASE*All Beer Tasters 6floz*Mango Cactus Pants Island Sour 6.5% ABV ($6.00): Rich pink color, sour tropical aroma, light body, slight tart tropical flavor, tart finish, and light tart tropical aftertaste - my favorite. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=76wt21Wb-exO66oOlHj7YQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9VwUbe Cheesecake Island Sour 6.5% ABV ($6.00): Dark purple color, graham cracker ube aroma, light body, sweet ube flavor, mouthfeel finish, and dessert ube aftertaste. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=rA_xbDf8w6C6pCm5dYV4LQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9VwAmerika Mizu Rice Lager 4.8% ABV ($4.75): Rich amber color, rice aroma, light body, bitter rice flavor, easy finish, and faint rice aftertaste. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=ONoxazVV6NWC-36zJTyvZA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9VwHNL to BOS Hazy NEIPA 6.5% ABV ($5.00): Hazy yellow color, hoppy aroma, light body, bitter hoppy flavor, mouthfeel finish, and hoppy aftertaste. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=L3RB_JS4TFXMbUx3Thpn0g&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9VwSpace Balloon Hazy NEIPA 6.5% ABV ($5.00): Hazy yellow color, hoppy aroma, light body, bitter hoppy flavor, mouthfeel finish, and hoppy aftertaste. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=10FQJ47fJBY-u8wR3fHfeg&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9VwXXPlosive West Coast IPA 7.0% ABV ($5.00): Bright yellow color, citrus hoppy aroma, light body, bitter hoppy flavor, mouthfeel finish, and hoppy aftertaste. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=prkL-zvL7HK932TC1BeorA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9VwMaple Mornings Imperial Double Pastry Stout 11.0% ABV ($7.25): Dark brown color, coffee maple soy sauce aroma, medium body, coffee maple sweet flavor, mouthfeel finish, and coffee maple sweet aftertaste. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=V_eEfqepc1gxqWpJ_bhO0A&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9VwKanak Crack Snacks Furikake 6.2oz Bag ($12.00): This (among other flavors) was the only munching option that helped to absorb the alcohol and allowed me to drink more if I wanted. Because the beer list was short, I ordered a taster of everything. The beers came out quickly which was the extent of any interaction until I left, but no worries; all was good - mahalo!PARKING (FREE)There was barely any onsite parking (maybe two spots at the most) since they shared the space with several businesses, but there were plenty of spots along the main drag of Kahuhipa St. (where I parked) and the surrounding streets - 'nuff said.ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCELocated in an industrial area inside a small warehouse that looked like it was once a mechanic shop, there were a handful of tall chairs and tables throughout the tight layout https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=phNXjIOU5DJ5A8yjmKCWvg&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw as you sat among kegs, machinery, etc.. With the exception of the mango cactus pants, I just wasn't grooving on the others as creative as some were, the beer selection and snacks were extremely limited, and the service was functional. I couldn't tell if this was also a family and pet-friendly (events on certain nights) place. I found fairly good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $60.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 3.5 STARS

Inu Island Ales is a small local brewery with speciality beers, seltzers, ales. The two tasters I ordered came with a higher percentage (6.5% ABV) which I like a-lot. 7 oz Tasters, 32 oz Growlers, Glass are available for purchase. Tasters come in a plastic cup, no glass. Growlers come in a nice aluminum can. No flights available, but can just get a bunch of tasters. Prices range. Service was awesome! Local girl was friendly and personable. Very casual spot to sit and enjoy your drinks. Limited seating with only about 4 tables and a few seats at the bar, not good for large groups. Easy to miss if you drive too fast. Located across the street from the car dealership. Parking available in the lot. Our favorite was Orange Soda Seltzer which was like a spiked Fanta Orange Soda! Oo if you get some vanilla icecream you can make a pretty mean spiked icecream float. Kilauea Cheesecake sour ale was also delicious! Recommend taking a growler home! Follow on IG for updates and new tap list.Hope they're able to serve in a glass in the future!

One of our favorite breweries on the island! Great selection of beer to try. It's a little bit hidden because it's set back from the road in a warehouse and it's pretty small. But I think they could go bigger with how great their beer is! We'll see! They do allow you to bring in food since they don't serve any. You also get a view of some of their tanks, etc. which is pretty cool.

Inu is located in the middle of a warehouse and has limited parking outside, but we got lucky and were able to snag a spot outside since we came when things weren't too busy. It's a small taproom with a bar and a few hightop tables. They mainly have sours on tap, which is good given many of the flavors are tropical, but they don't sell cans to go, only crowlers. We snagged a variety of beer and took a high top and we enjoyed our short trip here. The sours were packed with flavor and were quite tasty and it's a shame that they didn't have any cans for us to take home as we would have grabbed some. Our server was also very nice and they're doing some good things here, so hopefully they can continue to grow and expand.

A bit hard to find but worth it if you're into specialty local micro brews. They're located directly across Kahuhipa Street from Windward Dodge near the Tae Kwon Do school. My family members from Vegas wanted to try it and take some back home with them so here we are. They offer 7oz "Tasters" that you can drink on site and 32oz "Crowlers" that are sealed and meant to be taken out. They usually have a selection of about seven different brews at any time and because they brew in small batches, once that "flavor" is gone, it's gone (unless they decide to bring it back again). That can be a little difficult because many of their flavors use local fruits and ingredients that may not be available later. I tried the "Da Kine Keeper" which is an Imperial Stout at 14% abv. It was very smooth with heavy notes of chocolate and coffee with a slight tart finish that was really nice. I guess it's BYOF because they only have for sale a few packaged snacks to munch on while you're there. I know they participated in the recent Beer Festival at Windward Mall along with other brewers so great to see they're doing well.
