IL Gelato Cafe Haleiwa

This is a great dessert spot for those In Haleiwa that want to beat the north shore heat. Their gelato is so good! There's a ton of flavors to choose from, making it difficult for me to choose just two flavors. To my surprise, their lilikoi cheesecake was one of the best gelato flavors I've ever tried. It had the perfect balance of creamy and tart. The coconut was also creamy, but the flavor was a little more settled compared to the lilikoi cheesecake. The line gets long and their limited inside seating can get quickly snagged but they also have some seating outside. This spot is worth checking out!

In the heart of Haleiwa, there's IL Gelato. Where the chicken roam free and the parking is plentiful. I love the decor and painting. I thought it was unique and it provided lots of photo ops for my friend and myself. The little decor on the shelves brings out the essance of the cafe. I got the ice tea. It was refreshing and delicious. It was a nice drink for a sunny day.The staff was kind to let us know that my friend had many rewards on her 5 star account. Next time, she knows that she can add something free to her order.Along with plenty of parking, there's lots of different stores in the small shopping center. You can stop by and get a drink or food from the cafe and then explore the different shops. Don't feed the chickens though!

The shop is just so cute and the ice cream was just amazing. The worst part was trying to decide which flavor to pick! Classics and local favorites means there is something for everyone.

Cute little Gelato cafe located right in Haleiwa.We went specifically for the affogato. We just came back from Italy where we got addicted to affogato! We went on a Saturday around 10am and they were busy making different breakfast items like crepes, waffles etc. Very basic but it smelled heavenly in there!A few people ahead of us got fancy gelato ice cream cones that looked amazing. They have a small seating area inside and outside and dogs are allowed as there were two laying on the floor.We got the standard affogato, should have gotten the "supremo" for $1 more. That one came with 2 scoops of gelato and whipped cream.Ours was your basic expresso shot poured over a small scoop of gelato. Nothing special and it was ok. Would I return for it? No but I would possibly return at the end of the night for a yummy gelato cone!

Location is in a small shopping center, large choice of flavors and all the flavors you would like to find there. Generous scoops and crunchy waffle cones make for an enjoyable treat.

Took the kids out for a sweet treat. We decided to get some gelato. The line went quickly. I love the assortment of flavors they offered. I got the Kona coffee and the dark chocolate. They were delicious. The inside is cute, they have a little photo op setup. They have more than just gelato offered, they also had crepes and coffee.I sure will be stopping by here more often.

Was in Hawaii for vacation and this was a go-to spot! There are a wonderful amount of flavors to choose from, from "safe" options anyone could love (like vanilla and chocolate), to fruity flavors reminiscent of the flavors in Hawaii. It gets busy but they move you quickly and you also can get a free piece of waffle on your ice cream, which they will ask you about when you go to pay.Ample parking lot and seating, though this place shares a lot with other restaurants so it may take an extra few seconds.My only feedback is a daily rotation of flavors so if you come back two days in a row () you have some extra variety.

Genuine gelato on the North Shore? Whattttt. We had to give it a try. In a word wonderful! We sampled one scoop of the award winning chocolate and one scoop of the peanut butter. If you lover Reese's PBC then this your jam. The chocolate was one of the best I've had. The peanut butter is just a favorite flavor. If you are in the mood for something cold, creamy and sweet this is a must on the North Shore!

Ice cream and crepe were both good. Service was slightly slow but if they have more people working they'd need to raise prices so it's easy to deal with. Quaint little shop. Parking usually isn't too terrible.
