Floyd is just simply awesome. On the day of the wedding, Floyd showed up early and confirmed what we had discussed regarding style and timeline. My husband and I are seriously the most awkward when it comes to photo shoots, and I feared our photos would look forced. Leave it to Floyd to figure out a way for us to look like "us." He was very comfortable to work with, easy going, and made everything feel relaxed. When it came time for family photos, I feared it would be chaos since both families were so large, but Floyd kept everyone on track and got them done efficiently (and beautifully) so we could move on the partying! A few of my guests commented on how sincere and sweet our photographer was; never pushing for photos but always there for the right moment. Our portfolio of photos was extensive and captured every moment (and then some), which is exactly what I wanted. I emphasized I wanted the photos to look organic, not to pose-y, and to really capture emotions of the day. Floyd truly delivered, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. In terms of planning, he's very prompt in responding to emails / texts and was always very easy to communicate with. I highly, highly recommend Floyd and couldn't thank him enough for capturing our day so perfectly.

I contacted Floyd after finding his work on Instagram and inquired about booking a photoshoot for my upcoming trip to Hawaii. Floyd was quick with his responses and offered very competitive pricing for the quality of his work. I have always been drawn to film photography and love that Floyd shoots using a combination of film and digital photography.Choosing a location was a breeze as Floyd provided many different suggestions based on what I was looking for. To my surprise, the photoshoot I arranged became a surprise engagement shoot! Floyd did a great job keeping the secret and capturing such a special moment for us.You can expect a high quality work with incredible lighting and natural poses. His turn around time for showing us raw images and sending back edited images was very quick. We love all the pictures we have received and hope to work with Floyd again the next time we are in Oahu.Thanks Floyd!

Floyd was punctual and has a laid back style. He worked very well with the videographer that we hired from Isle Media. Our photos are absolutely stunning and captured our day perfectly. I highly recommend having Floyd capture the special moments in your life!

Floyd was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator. It can be really daunting as a same sex couple to find vendors who will make you feel comfortable. Floyd was wonderful to work with. He was very professional while being laid back, which really matched our energy that day (surprisingly!). He did a great job working with my wife. We are not exactly people that enjoy being in the limelight but he made us feel special and at ease as he was telling us when to hold hands, when to move, when to kiss, etc. The photos didn't take too long to receive after our event. He was very patient with us as we picked through our favorites. The final edits were gorgeous! We are so in love and very happy with the results from our wedding day. Some other things to note. His price is great! He is so reasonably priced in comparison to other options for the area. He may not offer add-ons like a wedding book, but these days you can put that stuff together yourself. The value and the experience are 100% worth it. Highly recommend Floyd. Thank you for a great experience!

Floyd is amazing!!Very fast response timesMy wife and I had our photoshoot done by Floyd, I was nervous booking someone as we live in an different country and had no idea where to have it done.Floyd worked with us over email to make sure we were happy with the location and that it worked for us being able to get there via Uber.During the shoot he was extremely professional and gave us direction but also let it feel very natural.The suggested location was absolutely beautiful and the photos came out amazingly.I would deffinately recommend Floyd to anyone and would book him again in a heartbeat!

I found Floyd early in the wedding planning through Instagram! I had met with a few photographers before but I wasn't really sold on any of them. Not that they weren't good, but either their "vibe/energy level" didn't match ours, or their photography style was too "intense" and "serious" (you know those photoshoots where it looks like the couple is about to face the apocalypse together?), or their prices were way out of our budget. Floyd was like a gift through the heavens of Insta-browsing. I immediately loved his light and airy feel to his photos (the vibrant colours!), the candids where the people are smiling and laughing, or the kids are running, that's what I wanted to capture on our wedding day.Needless to say, he definitely delivered that. And he was like such a ninja! I'm usually shy and freeze up in front of a camera but 90% of the time I didn't even notice he was there taking photos! Amazing!The turn-around for the wedding pictures was also fairly quick, which was a pleasant surprise. Floyd managed to captured not only the visual moments of the wedding day but also the FEELING! I could see all the moments where friends and family were having a good time, the looks on my husband's face when he saw me, my dad shaking his hand as he gave me away, the kids cracking jokes, all those moments are preserved now and I'm so thankful that I picked (and entrusted!) Floyd.

Our family photo was taken back in Sept 2014 - a very late postI was looking on Yelp for a photographer in Hawaii to take our family pictures and I came across Floyd, I emailed him immediately because I was impressed with his work. My husband and I have been taking family photos every year ever since we had kids and we wanted something different this time, we wanted to take candid style photos. Floyd got back to me immediately and answered all my question. It didn't take long for us to get our pictures and we LOVED every single one of them. We couldn't be any happier. I can't get over how much I love our wedding photos! We told Floyd from the beginning that we are not a couple who likes those awkwardly posed photos and that we really wanted photos that were true to us - natural and candid. That's exactly what he gave us! There were so many great photos to choose from and I love how he captured all of our special moments. The colors are vibrant and everyone looks amazing! On the day of the wedding, he was very punctual and really great to work with! If you're looking for an awesome photographer for your wedding, I'd highly recommend Floyd!
