Art within the art...Tucked in the back of Traditions Coffee Roasters is Icky Love Art Loft and Gallery which is home to 40+ various artists and what a treat to find this gem that's filled with so much beautiful inspiration. The staff here is just incredibly knowledgeable of every single artist and priced that's showcased here with not just who they are but where they're from and is amazing what you'll find in this cozy gallery. The only downside is the long walk up the stairs and even with my horrible knee I just couldn't resist taking a peek as the Tradition Coffee Roasters describes what they have I was just so excited and curious. Here you'll find many items from stickers, wall arts, books, jewelry and beautiful assortment of pottery and so much more! I was told that the owner makes pottery and holds workshops & events right in the shop which is super cool and fun but having a bunch of local artist here in one place is so amazing to support local not found anywhere which I did as I couldn't resist a Hebrew Shell Keychain, a cute bowl I'm planning to put jewelry in which will add some fun character that I love which is brining out the crafty in me but love the find of this unique piece of art.Thank you!

Hidden Gem alert! I love finding secret spots off the beaten path, especially when they are as committed to an idea as Icky Love gallery is. Showcasing the BEST of local artists in a gallery tucked in the back of Traditions Coffee Roasters ... this is a gallery dedicated to local artists who are depicting Hawaii with fresh eyes. The brainchild of ceramic artist Jaimie Nagle, the gallery features the works of 30 amazing artists including the formidable collection of beautiful pottery hand crafted by Jaimie herself. This is amazing, accessible art at price points that make having a one of a kind piece possible for a beginner art collector or a savvy collector looking for artists on the rise. Please support this great effort, which is as much about community as it is about art. And don't forget to grab an excellent coffee drink downstairs on your way up

I stumbled across Jaimie Nagle and her Icky Love Art Loft+Gallery going into a local hidden coffee shop. I was super excited with this discovery since I'm one to search for small business when during my travels from mainland. So yeah I'm not local but there's something about meeting local people and understanding the local culture, thus I look for anthology art+objects which reminds me of nostalgias of the certain places I travel to. First off, Jaimie greeted me without pretentiousness. Im an interior designer but outside of my career I dress very average and connect with people who are down to earth. Jaimie is very warm, very down to earth. When walking into a shoppe or gallery this is what draws me to shopping in a place that treats you with warm customer service. Her gallery is beautiful with curated artist from Oahu. Framed wall art, ceramics, jewelry. Definitely one of a kind craft art that is to me WabiSabi. Some abstract, modern, coastal that evoke life and culture at the islands. I ended up purchasing three of Haunani Hess's works because I love abstract and the techniques she used. I also like her story as an artist. Jaimie took the time to educate me about each artist which I truly appreciate. You see art is not just 'beauty' - it's a form of poetry communication of the world around you placed in tangible form. I see it as such that every artist is meant to be understood before displaying it in your home. Jaimie also told us about her life and she was humble enough to get to know me as a designer and my family as visitors of Oahu. She never pressured me and in fact because she left a great expression, I carefully pondered while at the beach, Haunani's work is perfect for my home. My experience doesn't end here, because living in the mainland was such a hurdle for shipping... she continued to find other means to update me and respect my purchase that the pieces will arrive in mint condition as it is in the gallery. She did just that - she really valued having her clients be 'in the know' of safety arrival in a timely-economical meansMy purchased Haunani works arrived safely and my expectations of my vision superseded the reality - it really belonged in my home above my terrazzo tile fire place. Thank You Jaimie for all that you do. I've not only experienced white glove service but met a friend in the Art world that I see myself collaborating with for future works.

This is a lovely, local, woman-owned art gallery full of unique, beautiful art pieces for anyone looking for an amazing piece to add to your art collection or reasonably priced, quality gifts or souvenirs or just a spark of creative inspiration. I also love how they make art accessible to the local community by regularly hosting fun art classes. The owner Jaimie and her staff are absolutely lovely and always welcoming and generous with their aloha spirit. I'm a huge fan of everything this gallery stands for. Definitely check it out and support an amazing local, woman-owned business while feeding your soul. Highly recommend!

The best selection of quality local artists work. And I love that there are mostly local Women artists. I have also done a fun, informative, well-guided mug workshop. The mug I Made is my favorite mug & I reach for it every time. Plus, you can have a great cup of coffee downstairs at Tradition Roasters!

You know that feeling you get when you have the day off, wander somewhere different and discover little joys that make you grateful to be alive? That's what it's like to walk into the Icky Love Art Gallery! The local artists on display are as varied as they are talented and shopping there is just plain fun. Jaimie offers different art classes that are a fun way to spend time with a friend or meet new people while flexing your creative muscle. Downstairs, there's a great coffee place to hang out at and a wine bar a few doors down if that sounds better.I love this little gallery. Check it out the next time you're on the windward side!

Ickly Love is an absolute gem. This place is a hidden oasis of cozy beauty tucked away inside Tradition Coffee Roasters - and let me tell you, it's worth the search. It is part of the Kapaa Quarry Industrial Complex, which is worth checking out for the vibe if you haven't yet. It can be a little bit of a maze but luckily the Icky Love website has got your back with video directions.Once you're inside, you'll be treated to some seriously stunning pottery, courtesy of the talented owner herself. But that's not all - every month, she showcases the work of different Hawai'i-based artists. I plan on going back a lot to check out the rotating work.I read she also offers different workshops (e.g. beaded jewelry, fiber workshops) taught by local artists. She also offers "pau hana pottery fridays" if you are looking for something different to mix up your weekend activity lineup. Who needs netflix when you can get your hands dirty and make something beautiful? If you are visiting and looking for somewhere to see local artists in a relaxed environment (with great coffee in hand)--be sure check this place out!
