Another office birthday celebrated here!!!Rib Eye Shabu Shabu with Ginger Salt broth is my new go to, with udon. Why? More protein. The same goes for half our team, Yum!We love this restaurant, and we wipe out every morsel of food, I am NOT kidding. In fact, the birthday celebrant will also take your extra rice and sauce if necessary, even though the restaurant would be more than happy to bring more upon request. Our newest co-worker opted for katsu teishoku. At first "look" he wasn't too enthused... but upon "tasting" his food, he thought the chicken was flavored really well and he was pleasantly surprised. Yes, he too, wiped out everything, except maybe a few slivers of cabbage.Dessert is usually strawberry shaved ice with ice cream and mochi... but this time I tried the Taiwanese mango shaved ice with ice cream, mochi and azuki beans. Oh my, it'll be SO hard to choose between the two in the future. The mango flavors are fresh, tangy, and sweet, and it was so yummy! New blessings: Free Kids Meal (10 years old and under) is being offered on a Tuesdays and Wednesdays!! See photo.Parking- DO park in the lot behind the restaurant. DON'T scan the QR code in the lot. The lot's sign has an extra note from ICHIRIKI, recommending that you scan the QR Code INSIDE the restaurant to receive the first 90 minutes of parking FREE and enjoy lower rates. There is an option to increase time if you're running over, and you'll get an email confirmation. We sat in the tatami area this time, which requires removing shoes, stepping up a pair of stairs and having your feet dangling below the table.Walk in with no stairs is also available, so no worries there. Restrooms are bright and clean and they have a women's restroom which accommodates wheelchairs.(They are still working on giving us back door access to the parking lot, after they move all the stored items, heh heh.). Until then, let's get our steps in by walking around the building to the front entrance!Enjoy!

I don't usually like hot pot but I was really impressed with Ichiriki! there's an abundance of broth choices and the plate combos were very filling. the price is worth the quantity and since you have your own personal pot for cooking, you can make everything exactly as you like it. service was a little slow but we had a large party and they seemed understaffed and busy that day. the only con was having to pay extra for sauces, but the broths are so flavorful that I don't think you need sauce!definitely coming back in the future!

Ichiriki is great for birthdays! If you're looking to throw a fantastic 10-person party without the budget-blowout, this is the spot. The hot pot and teishoku sets are delicious, filling, and easier on the wallet than some other places at $20-$30 per person. Plus, the venue itself is spacious enough that you don't feel like you're elbow-to-elbow with your crew. They've recently updated their menu, adding more sets and the option of teishoku, and it feels like you get even more food than before! I ordered the Niku set and was treated to a full lineup: four different kinds of meat (thinly sliced pork adnd beef, chicken, and chanko) alongside a garden's worth of veggies. As if that wasn't enough, you can pick your carb companion--ramen, udon, or zosui. I went for the ramen and left absolutely stuffed. Here's why I docked a star: the paitan broth, one of my previous faves, was a little disappointing this time around. It tasted watery, missing that rich flavor it used to have. Service was a bit slow, too, especially when we asked for the celebratory cake and cutlery--they took about 20 minutes to arrive. And it was a similar wait for the bill. Despite the hiccups, Ichiriki is still the place to be for great food, great friends, and a great time.

I was craving hot pot today and got my fix with Ichiriki's ribeye shabu shabu set! This was my first time visiting and I really enjoyed this lunch. My waitress recommended the shio pirikara broth and it did not disappoint. The service was extremely efficient and everything came out so fast. It was a cute atmosphere with the tatami seating that reminded me of Japan. They have table seating as well and this is a great spot for solo diners and groups alike.

Amazing service and amazing food! Channeling Japanese style dining, we were seated with no sandals/shoes on and had to sit crisscross or with our legs down below the table where we got to enjoy our delicious hotpot. I really liked the Ichiriki broth which was the recommended popular one, it was a tough choice because the Yuzu kosho was so good honestly you can't go wrong. Some of the best I've ever had, I will think about this and hope to return soon! Everyone in our party loved it and we would absolutely recommend it. Shout out to our host and waitress - super sweet and patient with our large group!

Great service and good quality food. We ordered the shabushabu and added more meat which is great. Parking is in the back. Scan the QR code inside the restaurant for $2 each hour.

Dinner in Honolulu, Hawaii...My friend really wanted to dine at Ichiriki! She called and made a reservation without having to leave her name!I think I have been here before, but I have no photos and no review to prove it. LOL! I couldn't remember where to park! Luckily, my gave me directions and scanned the QR code for parking payment. Parking: behind the building. Enter the lot from Kona Street. It's the same shared parking lot with Air Park Karaoke.Ichiriki is an old school establishment. There's regular tables and chairs for seating - and also traditional-styled seats on the floor (your legs will extend under the table into a hole below where there's a tatami mat).Service was friendly. Staff checked on us appropriately. My friend asked our server to explain the ordering process to me. She also asked him to make my meatballs for me... thank you! The raw meat arrived in a cutout bamboo and had to be scooped out in small pieces, then dropped into the broth. I would have been messy!I ordered the kombu broth which came with goma and ponzu dipping sauces and a bowl of toppings. They made the broth tastier. I poured my veggies and meats into my half of the split pot. The Ramen came a bit later and I added thise noodles to the long rice, sausage, and mushrooms. This was a very filling meal! I wasn't able to finish! Thanks for a fun experience!Note: convenient restroom is in the hallway that leads out to the parking lot.

Came in to take advantage of the lunch specials (see attached pic). It's a pretty good deal all around. Service was however, exceptionally slow. Nothing against our server. He apologized for the wait so I believe it was because of the kitchen getting the plates together. Also this was not the first time where we were seated and the lunch special menu was not handed out to us when we were first seated. The menu is on the front door, but has not been included with the regular menus so check the front to see if it's still being offered. Food is still fresh and plentiful.

Ichiriki is my favorite comfort food!! I have been coming here for years and love a warm hot pot of nabe. This location is popular, so it is important to make a reservation. The broth at Ichiriki is so tasty. I always get the tsukune, because it's my favorite. They offer a large platter of veggies and I love getting to end the meal with ramen in the broth. If you aren't familiar with nabe or this cook your own style of food, it's definitely worth giving a try! Especially great on a cooler day, but there's never a bad time for nabe.

Called in an order for chicken katsu and spicy chicken. There's usually a guy there who knows that I mean the teishoku... but just got a side order. Which is fine. But the chicken katsu tonight is so burnt. It's so bad. It was also slow inside so I have no idea why or how they burnt just a piece of chicken katsu. Even the spicy ahi had no taste. Complete let down tonightHopefully, it's better next time. If there is a next time.
