This is a kiosk that sells snacks fronting Fun Factory at Windward Mall. They sell popcorn, candy, nuts, etc. The only thing that I bought from here was the Hurricane Popcorn. It wasn't that good. The packaged Hurricane Popcorn in the stores is actually better than this. They pop the popcorn fresh when you order it. However, it lacks flavor. I'm not sure if it's the butter that they're using or the mochi crunch. The prices are outrageous. I bought a large bag for $9.50. I thought the popcorn at the theaters were expensive. I'm doubtful that I'll be returning anytime soon. It's cash only, so make sure you have money on you.

In love with their popcorn! We were actually just kicking back on a table near this kiosk when the shaking of the popcorn bag as well as the smell hypnotized our table and brought us to the line. As I stood in line and continued my gaze on the shaking, my mind landed on a hurricane popcorn mix with lihing mui. When it was finally my turn I felt like a kid in a candy store, watching them ladle in the butter and lihing mui powder, shake, then the furikake, shake, and then the arare. I took the bag of gold back to the table and we all dug in.In minutes it was gone. All we were left with was red fingers and kanak-attack grins.I live in Kahala, but will definitely go over the Pali for more popcorn.

Just a head's up for anyone ordering custom colored popcorn for parties, graduations, etc. The samples they have on display are "old", according to the sales girls they have working. They are not as vibrant, so instead of getting purple and blue for baseball goody bags, it came out more green and brown. They could only show me that the cotton candy they have is made with the same sugars, so that's how they assured me they used purple and blue. The old owners were so good and caring and really made beautiful colors. I've ordered purple and green popcorn leis before, for a themed luau and I'm questioning if I would order from the new owners again if this is what they make. I can't imagine ordering blue for my daughter' send of year gifts and it coming out green like this. So disappointed.

Craving for freshly popped popcorn? Stop at Windward Mall for yummy air popped pop corn with li-hing, arare, and BUTTER! I've ordered popcorn leis for graduation and they are always a winner! They don't answer the phone though (reason for the 4 stars), leave a message and they will either call you back to confirm your order, or stop by the kiosk and check with one of the employees. It's a lot of extra work for graduation leis, but worth it!

My favorite popcorn flavors are "typhoon"-sour cream and onion, butter, furikake & "avalanche"-butter,Parmesan,white cheddar. The kernels are large and they pop it when you order so it's fresh. The "Avalanche" can be chewy(may be due to the amount of butter added) but the flavor is great. The "typhoon" is always perfect when you order.I love it and get a bag every week. If you're hesitant due to the other reviews, try a small bag.

Only a first timer, but the popcorn we got was incredible. We chose the "Tsunami" flavor, which consists of Li hing, butter, furikake and Mochi crunch. It was so flavorful, I think the order of what the popcorn maker put in the bag first made the seasonings stick really well and coat each piece. We got a small and it was quite large by my standards!

I Want Candy is located in Windward Mall. This review reflects my experience with their popcorn leis, but they also sell roasted nuts, scoop candy, and cotton candy! My mother recently ordered 15 popcorn leis for yesterday's Punahou School graduation, $5 each. They were freshly made and placed into to the tubing just before pickup, nicely alternating the popcorn layers of blue and yellow... While following my brother around with these leis hanging along the lengths of both of my arms, I caught the eyes and turned the heads of many parents and families alike--"oh look! popcorn!" Yes, I did see a few other people passing out popcorn leis similar to this but I doubt they were half as good as these (unless, of course, they purchased them from I Want Candy). As I'm typing out this message, my mom and I are stuffing our mouths with the popcorn of one of the leis we kept for ourselves. We've already finished more than half of the lei's worth. THIS IS ***THE BEST*** POPCORN I've ever tasted. I am so glad we bought these leis to pass out to all of the graduates last night! It was definitely a hit! A great idea since they were nice and light to carry around through the hustle n' bustle--and DELICIOUS! They melt in my mouth! I can't stop eating them! We can have it special-ordered and made before pickup, which is what we did... so perhaps the short time between popping and lei distribution is what really made it. I've tasted other candy popcorn. They were just "okay" or stale... or too soft. This popcorn is crispy, sweet and nicely colored (you can ask for them to put a bit more sugar/color into the batch!). It was so fresh and well-made that the popcorn was NOT chewy or stale-tasting or bland.I am very pleased with the taste and presentation! Will definitely be coming back for more... I have yet to visit this place, but when I do, I'll do an update. *POPCORN LEIS ARE GREAT FOR GRADUATION*SPECIAL ORDER FOR EXTRA FRESHNESS*FRIENDLY OWNERS, GREAT SERVICEE-mail them at "[email protected]" or call (808)-395-WANT. :D

Oh no... This was my favorite place to get hurricane popcorn and they've changed so much! Well, I hadn't been in over a year so I don't know at what point, but it is not the same. Popcorn was freshly popped so that was not an issue but the mochi crunch was different and it just didn't have that deliciousness it used to. I don't know what happened but something ain't right when the packaged hurricane popcorn tastes better than this... Please do whatever you used to do!!

Love their popcorn and always fresh. I love the hurricane popcorn but the mochi crunch is either old or has no flavor. It's a hard rice cracker and it just didn't do it for me. Stop cutting corners so regular customers are not disappointed.

Da fuck are these owners hiring???!!! My first experience was the best. Don't get me wrong it's not the products that's the issue it's the workers. There is this Asian girl who works there looks like she's 16. This dumb girl has the worst service. I asked her what's your favorite flavor of popcorn. Instead of recommending or suggesting what's the most popular flavor she says "idk I don't really eat popcorn I just work here" da fck?!My second time here grabbed two different popcorn. One small volcano and one medium sour cream popcorn with butter. She then repeats it to the other girl and says the same thing on what I said. Next they start making it and while making it the made the volcano fine. Then the sour cream one they fucked up big time by adding the furikake. I was like what is that? She said sour cream and furikake. My mind blew I'm like I never asked for furikake one for the volcano. Then she looked at my like I had no option of them remaking it. So I said okay let's go. I don't know why they would think sour cream goes well with furikake they must be stupid and must be fired. They are not even working they are busy talking stories and letting their friends visit them and disrupting the workers while they work. The manager should see what they are doing while they are not there. Never buying popcorn here ever again.
