Hulihuli Chicken and Seafood

This place is actually insane, the chicken is tender and the flavor is explosive. Hidden back behind all the other food trucks but is a must eat option amongst all the other food trucks. The service was great, family owned and operated! The line at the garlic shrimp place was super long and I think this food is even better than that.

We put down the $20 large huli huli chicken plate like it was our job. Seriously some of the most unbelievably juicy, smoky, flavorful chicken to be had. Best parts are where the skin gets so crispy and blackened right around the edges- those bones were CLEAN when we were pau. The juice that the meat releases pools at the bottom of the container and is perfectly mopped up with two scoops white rice. Mac salad was mean too but could have used twice as much, and I always respect some corn on the cob. Nice to see the huli huli action in the back to verify just how bomb it's about to be. Forsure will put you in a kanak attack and it's worth every bite

Similar to another review we read, we came here only after a nearby food truck was closed. We are so glad we did. The staff was so friendly, food was delicious (we got the Huli huli chicken, ribs, and garlic mahi)!!! Outside ambiance, feels like you're at a traditional Hawaiian BBQ. Can not recommend enough.

We found this place as another truck we came to check out was closed. It did not disappoint! I got the Huli Huli chicken and my husband got the ribs. Very tender and tasty the frozen lemonade was also amazing. Perfect amount of sweet and lemon with fresh zest throughout. Highly recommend. My husband is hard to impress with food and he couldn't stop saying how delicious it was!! The Mac salad was also very good!!!

Perfect little place at the Kahuku sugar mill area to get huli huli chicken and ribs with rice, pasta and corn (we passed up on the steak, but they have that too). While everybody else on our tour went to Giovanni's, we followed the smell of freshly cooking ribs & chicken, and enjoyed every bite! Pricing was reasonable at $30 (two leg quarters and three large ribs) which included plenty of food for two of us, along with frozen lemonades. If I lived in the area, I'd be here everyday

My boyfriend and I were exploring the area looking for some food when we came upon this incredible location. It was the most delicious meal we had while on our trip. The couple who helped us were very friendly and kind. Definitely recommend!!

Cute little food stand...follow the smoke and get your Hulihuli chicken. Huli means turn in Olelo Hawaii. This is not your typical rotisserie chicken. It's made with love! Flavorful and moist, perfect for after enjoying the beach.

Wow the reviews weren't joking about 10 stars. The Huli Huli chicken was hot and fresh. The flavor was amazingly juicy from the skin on the outside to the tender meat on the inside. I got the regular plate which was $20. Big enough to feed two people. My friend and I shared and the whole time we kept talking how good the chicken was after every bite. Service was great and quick. The Aunty at the stand was nice, she even added a small extra piece of chicken in my plate. So blessed! It is hidden in the middle towards the back of the food trucks near the restrooms. Plenty of seating benches and you can watch the chickens spin on the grill. Definitely now my go to place when I'm in Kahuku.

I just ordered a lot of food for my daughter and several other college students. The owners are amazing! They worked with me to get the food to the girls. I just heard back from all of the girls and they said it is the best food they have had in Hawaii. The chicken, the macaroni salad, the rice, and the ribs are amazing! This place is very customer oriented and the food is fantastic. I will be ordering from them all the time now. And, thank you for the pineapple!

My friends went on a hunt for a shrimp truck but I had other plans lol. I remembered mikes huli chicken being at or near kahuku sugar mills but upon arrival I found this little huli chicken shack instead. And im so glad I did. First of all, there's so much variety on their menu. Huli chicken, steak, burritos, tacos! I got the small huli chicken plate (which is honestly huge I can't even imagine how big the large is), my fiancd got the fish tacos and my other friend got a burrito to take home which I unfortunately did not get to see the inside of. The huli chicken is so unexplainably good. Crispy flavorful chicken skin and juicy smoky chicken on the inside. I wanted to cry. The fish tacos had a great grilled smoky flavor to them and were SOOO juicy. Really big pieces of fish too! I think it was mahi. The lady that runs the shack is super nice too so informative and friendly. I live in town but I will happily make the trip out here regularly to get this again lol
