We had a great experience here when visiting Waikiki. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and efficient, and the drinks and food were good. Each night had a different type of entertainment, so we ended up coming back over several nights.

Omnia was the absolute best. Made everyone feel welcome and well taken care of. Atmosphere was impeccable with the live music and the views of the ocean and Diamond head. Would recommend anyone to stop in here for aSunset drink!

Great drink prices and atmosphere. Always felt comfortable coming here. The bartenders are super sweet. It can get crowded on certain days of the week and the dance floor is always open.

Stopped going here a while ago. Horrible staff that just ignores you or takes forever. Food was straight from the microwave. Complained on their social media and the blocked me! lol

Decided to go out on a random Wednesday and enjoyed AMAZING drinks and conversation with our lovely bartender, and now forever friend, Christain thank you to the welcoming staff and safe environment to enjoy a drink, or two, or three on a lovely vacation where its slightly hard to get away from touristy spots, this is not one of those Happy New Year!

Hula's is the premier gay bar in Hawaii. Overlooking Waikiki Beach it is friendly and laid back in the afternoon and lively at night. Hula's is very attractive and clean. Live entertainment almost every night from 6:00 - 9:00 and a DJ after 9:00.The drink specials are a good deal, the food is good too. The bartending staff is very accommodating, and the drink servers are enthusiastic and entertaining. A special shout out to our lovely server Lee who gives great service and make everyone feel welcome. She always has the best advice for where to eat and shop on the island.

Hulas is by far my favorite bar in Honolulu. Everyone is so friendly and they have so many awesome events! Their new food menu is super good, and it is a welcoming environment for everyone!

Hula's is so wonderful, one of my favorite bars anywhere in the world I've been to. the space itself is beautiful and huge and just half a block from one of the coolest parts of Waikiki beach. all the staff are super friendly (and sexy!) and the vibes here are immaculate. great live music and djs, I love that they often project the OG music videos from the songs they play on the screens around the bar. there's a great pool table for $1 per game with a great cast of regular players. the food and drinks are also delicious (can recommend the wings!). gay/bi/straight/queer/trans/locals/tourists --- this bar is for everybody! If you're looking for an awesome spot to bring your friends (or make new ones!), go to Hula's. $5 cover on weekends after 9p

So. Hulas is a wonderful place. Lee, our server over the many years my partner and I have been there is awesome. Last night, however everything changed. Joseph, the gentleman at the door asked for IDs. I'm 68. I never carry one. Ok. Cool. I get it. As he said he needed an ID from everyone, several customers walked behind us without being asked. My partner asked why they weren't carded, and Joseph said..."I'm denying all of you entrance" . My partner said "because I'm questioning your inconsistency"? Joseph said that my partner was being belligerent, and said we were not welcome. So much for the spirit of aloha. My partner asked to speak to a manager. Joseph kept saying...you need to leave. After my partner again asked to see the manager, he actually threatened to "make a call" to remove us. Finally the manager came over. We explained the situation. As we did explain to Brian (who was very respectful, polite and helpful) 4 customers walked in...none being checked. Again, no consistency. I felt Joseph was being discriminatory due to my age. Brian said..the owner is also an older gentleman...and I said, "the owner isn't the one carding". I have no issue with being carded..and was gonna run back to hotel to get ID. But, watching others come in (who were not out for a smoke) enter without having to produce ID? Unacceptable. In summation. I'm a frequent visitor to Hulas, in that I'm airline crew. I'm in Honolulu weekly and have always enjoyed this establishment. Sadly, the way Joseph treated us left a foul taste in my mouth. Yes, I get the carding thing, but due to his seemingly inconsistent requests to produce ID from other guests, it made me/us feel a bit of an unwelcome/unwanted guest.
