My wife and I had no idea what entertainment we were even going to have at our wedding reception. After some scrambling and research, we found Hula Hula Entertainment. We filled out the contact form and Malia got back to me very quickly. She was very nice, understanding and was very thorough with all the information. She helped us narrow it down to their Orchid Package which consisted of 1 Hawaiian musician and 1 hula dancer with a sound system add on (recommended if your ceremony is outside). We got everything squared away within a few days which was great because it was less than a month before our reception.I had no idea how to throw a wedding reception so I wasn't sure how it would go but on the day of, Jeremy and Leilani were absolutely PERFECT. They couldn't have been more engaging and entertaining. They both worked with the crowd perfectly and the music and dancing were both beautiful. I can't emphasize enough how worth it their performances were. I have no regrets about booking them and I would book Hula Hula Entertainment for any other events I would have. Big thanks to Malia, Jeremy, and Leilani for making our day special!

Fantastic dancers and musicians!! I booked 2 dancers and 2 musicians for my sons graduation party from UH. Everyone was highly entertained and was talking about how fun it was with the entertainment!! Malia the owner is wonderful to work with as we were booking from California. Highly recommend!! 5 stars!!

We had the best time celebrating my sisters wedding by doing a hula lesson with hula hula entertainment. Our lovely instructor Luana was beyond our expectations and provided us with not only a great hula lesson but shared lots of history with us. We all had such a wonderful time. I had great email response times from Malia with coordinating everything. I would highly recommend hula hula entertainment to everyone.

I have to say the whole experience of learning hula for my wedding with Luana was really fantastic, and I highly recommend.Brides have the option of selecting a pre-choreographed hula or doing what is known as the "Awapuhi package", meaning you can select a piece and have custom choreography done for you over the course of 5 private lessons. I chose the latter - slightly more expensive, but totally worth it.I should add that while I have a dance background, I had very minimal hula exposure from many years ago and felt extremely rusty at the start of the lessons. Luana was an excellent, patient teacher/choreographer and helped grow my confidence all the way through! She started off with just teaching basic steps, and eventually we worked on the choreo piece by piece. Between lessons, Luana requested that I text her video of me practicing for additional feedback/pointers which was really helpful and kind of her to do. I wish Luana was closer to me in location, I would absolutely continue hula with her, she was really that wonderful to work with.My husband was totally surprised and moved to tears when I danced to one of his favorite melodies. Best wedding present I could have given him.

They did a small back yard family venue in the beach for us which I was surprised they would even do. They were not only professional with all the costume changes but they were so kind and genuine. Great booking communication too. A Forever Memory!!

Malia was recommended to me by a mutual friend. At the time, I was contemplating whether I should perform a hula at my wedding. Having never learned hula or performed a solo dance in front of people, I was hesitant but knew that if I was to pursue this I would need A LOT of help! Malia was great! We set up a few private hula lessons. I met her at her studio in Kailua and after two or three sessions and a lot of practice I had the 2:30 minute hula down! Of course, Malia had to modify the routine and simplify some moves.

Mahalo Malia for being my incredible Kumu Hula. In such a short time, your thoughtful care and guidance allowed me to fulfill my dream of dancing hula for my husband at our wedding. He was brought to tears and the guests were floored that I danced with such grace and emotion. I have you to thank for all of that! More than anything, I want to thank you for teaching me the meaning behind the words and the movements. It was very important to me that I honor this hula with the respect that it deserved and I hope I made you proud.

Luana was wonderful and we all had such a wonderful time! She taught us a dance and shared Hawaiian history with us which we all found so interesting. The leis she brought were stunning and the next day we returned them back to the Earth and sea as she had explained which my granddaughters found so enjoyable. I would highly recommended this company!!!

Visited beautiful Hawaii to celebrate a special birthday for mum with a few girls. Malia helped create a special day with hula lessons and lei making. Lots of laughs and wonderful moments, Malia is a gracious and patient teacher suitable for all levels of dancer and all ages! A beautiful memory we will never forget.
