Howzit Brewing

I love this place! They make awesome beer and have lots of varieties on tap. You can order a full or half size beer. They offer a range of things like IPAs, Radler, Sour, Porter, etc. they even have canned wine and zero proof Hop Water that is actually so refreshing and delicious if you're not into drinking. The service is friendly and efficient. You can tell they know their stuff and they are beer nerds in the coolest way possible. I recommend the porters. Their seasonal gingerbread porter was absolutely delicious (I'm not even generally a porter fan). For something different, check out their ube coconut porter slushie!Parking is limited to 3 stalls or street parking. They have lots of bar seating and high top tables with outdoor picnic tables. It's nice and clean inside and in the bathrooms. The customers are friendly and good looking ;)

First time to this newer brewery. Bright, clean and open to fresh air bar/ drinking area. About 10 different choices offering the choice from Pilsner to IPA's. Small, friendly staff gladly offered tasting samples and we even got a peak of the actual brewing process by brewmaster Phil.Reasonable prices ( actually lower than most competitors) and they also have a rotating food truck presence that was excellent.All in all it was a great experience!

I truly enjoyed this place, great beers, especially sour, super well balanced.Best beer in town. Will definitely be back for another glass.

Newer brewery, so the selection of beer wasn't too big. They had a beer slushie for our non drinker friend which was cool, and service was speedy. Large TV inside and picnik tables out front. With a little bit bigger of a selection, I think it could be a great spot !

***One note that bothered me is that their bathroom lock is broken! Someone walked in on me while I was in there even though I heard a click for the lock. I thankfully was finished and just washing my hands. But please fix your bathroom door! Small, unassuming brewery in Kaka'ako near fishcake. A few spots in the front and some street parking available. Very casual beach vibe here. No AC, but there are big fans inside to help cool the air. We came here for some beers hoping to try one of the newest ones in town. Beers were good. I liked mine - the Mangoing! It was bright with a refreshing taste. Perfect for relaxing. Some bar stools inside and outside patio seats.

Even though it is located in Kakaako, there is no signboard or brewery-like decoration, and it has a plain and simple appearance.I was surprised by the unexpected atmosphereI on my first visit when my friend invited me.Among the several breweries in Kakaako, the scale is somewhat small, but my friend, who is known as a beer lover, said, "The beer here is the most delicious!"My first drink was IPA. CI chose a fruity brew that the staff likes.I liked it because it had a bitter, pretty punchy taste.The second beer was the coffee beer that my friend recommended. It was somewhat lighter and easier to drink than a coffee stout I drank at another establishment last Christmas. By the time we ordered the third cup, beer friends gathered from here and there thanks to our beer meister friends, and our table became very lively.Food is a system that is ordered from a Mexican food truck stationed at the entrance.First of all, it was tortilla chips and avocado salsa, but everyone immediately emptied their beer glasses after eating that spicy sauce (laughs)One of my friends said, "I'm sure this is the spirit to make you drink beer!" And he screamed and emptied the glass all at once, so everyone laughed out loud!Still, everyone wiped their sweat while being impressed by the high grade of the sauce, and hurriedly ate chips and replaced their beer.The high ceiling fans slowly turned and softened the sound of our laughter. Cheers!!カカアコに位置しているのに、敢えて看板も、ブルワリーらしい装飾も無い、地味でシンプルな佇まい。友達に誘われて初めて訪れた時は意外な雰囲気に驚きました。カカアコに幾つかあるブルワリーの中では規模は幾分小さいですが、ビール好きで知られている私の友達は「ここのビールが1番美味しい！」と言って居ました。私の一杯目はIPA. スタッフが好きだと言うフルーティーな物をチョイス。苦味が効いてかなりパンチのあるテイストで気に入りました。2杯目のビールは友達が薦めてくれたコーヒービール。クリスマスで飲んだ事のある味より幾分ライトで飲み易かったです。3杯目をオーダーする頃はビールマイスターの友達のお陰であちこちからビール仲間が集まり、私たちのテーブルはとても賑やかになりました。食べ物は入口に常駐している、メキシカンのフードトラックでオーダーするシステムです。先ずはお決まりトルティーヤチップスとアボガドサルサでしたがそのスパイシーなソースに誰もが直ぐにビールグラスを空にしていました(笑)仲間の1人が「コレはきっとビールを飲ませる魂胆だ！」と叫び一気にグラスを空にしたので全員で大爆笑！それでも全員ソースのグレードの高さに感心しながら汗を拭き拭き、急がしくチップスを食べながらビールをお代わりして居ました。ハイシーリングのファンがゆっくりと回り私達の笑い声を柔らかなBGMにしてくれる。そんなアイランドっぽいローカルムードと当店オリジナルの美味しいビールに貴方も心地良く酔いしれてみて下さいね！乾杯〜！

Came here with a friend who needed a cold beer after a long day...we all have been there before. I have passed by here and heard of it and so I was happy to try something new. The place has a lot of parking=always a plus. As you walk into their entrance there's a food stall outside. They were set up and I saw some shrimp cooking with the aroma of garlic. Yum. Walked into the open and spacious area, right to the stools at the bar. Sat down and were greeted by a friendly face. I looked at the menu and was not really feeling the beer at the time. I was support staff for my friend. However I was told that I should try their slushee radler. It's part beer and part lemon slushee. Let me tell you, it didn't disappoint at all. It's humid and hot and that thing hit the spot. The slushee I was told is made to precision so it's not too sour and not too sweet and it goes divinely with the beer. It was refreshing and delicious and definitely I will return for that!The only downfall is that the only food there available is the food truck. They don't serve food. It's ok, next time I'll go hungry and order something from outside!!

Saw tacos. Stuck around for the brew. There was a taco stand up front. Found a cozy cool brewery. Just happened to be in the area, after a workout. A nice, well lit location. There were a few interesting brews in the menu. Tried the pumpkin spice cream ale. So nice.

Citra, strata, HBC586,Amarillo, El Dorado, hydra, nectaron, Columbus, Chinook...... If you knew this list were hops, then this is the Honolulu brewery for you! Quality ingredients. Rich colors. Amazing malts. Fruity sours. Wonderful collabs. Interesting concoctions. I feel that this is the richest in ingredients and new flavors of beer for a brewery in Honolulu.They even brew the original recipe for Rainier beer! They have slushies, canned wine and n/a lemonade slush. Small parking lot at entrance. Street parking. Food truck in lot. Order at the bar and enjoy the open air seating.
