I'm always excited to visit Ben Franklin Crafts. I think I'm going to be a master artist. They're not super huge, but the location in Mapunapuna has a little bit of everything. The resin and beading sections are pretty large. But be prepared to pay a bit of a Hawaii surcharge due to costs of shipping. They also have a rewards program. I think it's $10 for the year, and then you get 10% off purchasesThey have some craft classes that they offer for kids and adults that are fun, and not usually sold out unless they're something really trendy. I wish they would focus more on these types of experiences to get people into crafting, but I guess that's what YouTube is for now. The employees have always been friendly to me. This is always my first stop for finding something new to work with.

Being crafty has no boundaries...They understand that here at HouseMart Ben Franklin and keeping up with the latest trends alone is a work of art most I don't even realize until it's basically over lol! Once I've tackled insane types of crafting filling my personal space with clutter and have tried to downsize is my biggest challenge as finding new homes for items that no longer wanted gives me great sadness to waste unwanted items.Constantly keeping up with the seasonal items such as graduation, Christmas or just finding decor to bougie up the desk...it's prominently displayed for your convenience. You're also able to find resin projects, baking, painting, scrapbooking, and so much more though if you do find yourself needing something that you can't find else where here even if you don't find you can get so much inspiration for alternatives as well for which direction you may go and with the craft club membership for just $10 a year you save so much more many are exclusive to members like 10% off on your purchase daily and sometimes they're so much more making it a great deal.Mapuapuna location is the largest versus the town location and with lots of convenient free parking the only stress is finishing your projects.Thank you!

Bought a picture frame 2 days ago. Got home and the stand was partially detached. I took it back to return it and was told that it was not sold that way so I would only get store credit.anger said guaranteed it wasn't sold that way. Guess the customer is wrong and won't shop here anymore.

I'm making 12 ribbon haku for a girls' volleyball team going to a championship tournament in Dallas in about 3 weeks and I couldn't do it without the right colors so I just wanted to shout out Aaron for going above and beyond (literally climbing up and searching) for the blue with silver 5/8" organza for me. I needed 8 spools and he was only able to find 6 but he helped me get extra black instead and that's working out fine. Aaron is always a great help here at the Mapunapuna location!

This is a 5-star location for beginners in an alcohol inks craft class. Jenny is an excellent teacher -fun, friendly, helpful, and a bright, encouraging instructor. You learn the technique for making a small picture and also take home 3 alcohol ink bottles for practicing the technique at home. You will need to buy some of the special yupo paper to use the inks, but the process is fun, so you probably will want to get a pad of either transparent yupo paper or opaque yupo paper. I was not able to schedule a second alcohol inks class while I was on the island, but look forward to doing another one when I return. The store is full of art and craft supplies. The staff members are very helpful.

OK, I'm not a craft-ster. I'm a wannabe craft-ster. So there; my true confessions. Well, any craft-ster knows that HouseMart Ben Franklin is the place to go for products, supplies, lessons and ideas. My recent visit was to simply purchase a glue gun since my old one died and went to glue gun heaven. Any craf-ster will tell you they have the best supply chain and the best prices for craft items. Any wannabe craft-ster like me knows to go to HouseMart to get suggestions and instructions for crafts On that note, the staff and management of HouseMart are fantastic.Christmas seasonal items on sale (big discount) now. so go there and stock up for Christmas 2023!Note- they have multiple locations on Oahu and in Honolulu.Fun Fact- HouseMart started on on the island of Maui in the 1960's, expanded to the Big Island in Hilo (I know because as a kid, my mom used to shop there) and one thing led to another and voila HouseMart Ben Franklin Crafts!

Always a good time here. Bad time for the wallet. Quite a large store with lots to look at. The sales team is always happy and can give you pointers on your project or find someone that can. Wide selection of goods that's bound to have what you need or give you ideas for new projects. Prices are reasonable and there's sales going on too. Be sure to check their ads!
