Honolulu Tacos

I needed to eat something quick before I started work. I was going to try one place, but the guy ignored me so I went next-door here.I told the woman that I was in a hurry and needed something quick and asked what she recommended she said taco. I asked her what kind she said chicken and I said one or two and she said two and it was delicious!$10.37 for these delicious chicken teriyaki tacos. Super happy that the first place ignored me and I discovered this place. It is going to be one of my new regular spots when I work at the Waikiki shopping Plaza location.

This is down an alley in a food court style part of town, so the ambience is nothing special but it's A decent bite when you're looking for food quickly! The best part about this spot is the hot sauce, woo! It's delicious and spicy. Service is ok, not very friendly, just there. No fountain sodas only bottle water and cans of soda. Take it from me, skip the horchata

Food and service. We visited this establishment on our last day in Waikiki. They gave us a menu and and didn't distinguish between the two locations who had what menu items. My party wanted to order the New York, the crispy tacos, and the carne asada fries which were no longer on the menu. We ordered the carne asada street tacos, Korean pork taco, carnita taco, and teriyaki chicken burrito. The carne asada was not seasoned, and there was no teriyaki on the burrito. The chicken on the burrito was not trimmed of the fat. This was very disappointing. As native Floridian we know Mexican food.

Great tacos and excellent prices! Definitely a hidden gem in downtown Waikiki. Tucked in the back of the Royal Hawaiian food stall / alleyway behind Betty's burgers. Recommend the fish taco, chicken or Korean pork tacos. Eat at one of the tables outside (BYOB) or take to go and head to the beach. Service is quick and friendly!

The street tacos (Asada) were really good! It wasn't crowded when we went so the service was fast!

This is a hidden gem in Waikiki. Inexpensive but delicious tacos. Staff is unassuming but helpful. If you're fresh off some Mai Tais and need a quick bite, this is just the spot. Highly recommend the chicken teriyaki taco or Korean pork.

This is an outdoor food stall with a communal dining area. It is tucked in an alleyway with a few other food stalls. Don't expect a traditional Waikiki dining experience. Overall the food at Honolulu Taco was decent. I started with the Korean Burrito which had rice, beans, pork, pickled carrots, and a surprising amount of lettuce. I didn't get a strong Kimchi flavor but the burrito had some spice to it. It cost $10 and I would give it a 3. I also ordered the kalbi taco for $4.25. It was smaller than I expected but the flavor of the Kalbi with the shredded cabbage in a corn taco shell topped off with mild verde sauce was great! I really enjoyed the flavor combinations and I would give it a 5. Food was fast and relatively healthy.

What a find! A small little walk-up with an amazing array of food- Korean, Mexican, Hawaiian. The food was tasty and decent portion. If you want good food and not pay the Waikiki prices, I highly recommend this place.

The first time I came here, I had 3 tacos and I thought they were good. I came back today and ordered a steak taco salad, and the seasoning and steak was not good. I couldn't bring myself to finish it, so I saved it for my boyfriend and he didn't find it to be edible either. I'm not sure what was used for the steak/seasoning but it reminded me of when I worked in a cafe and we would just leave the chicken soaking in hot water all day while being served lol
