Honolulu Pineapple

Oooh yeeeah, the smoothies are legit! My friend and I saw this spot after we parked in the Manoa Falls overflow parking lot. It's located right behind the food trucks. Since it was early and there wasn't anyone there, we decided to check it out and get smoothies. Not sure how large the other Hononlulu Pineapple locations are, but this outpost is pretty tiny. They were just opening up around 9 am when we arrived. They have a ton of smoothie flavors on deck and you can make it fancy by having your smoothie served in a pineapple. They sell fresh pineapples and other fruits, and you can also purchase take home pineapple slices that are perfect for your plane ride back home. Since we were about to start a hike right afterward, we decided to skip the fancy stuff. I ordered a piña colada smoothie while my friend stuck to their famous pineapple smoothie. It took quite a while for our smoothies to be made, but what's nice is that this place uses fresh fruit and prepares it as such. I mean, it's Hawaii so you should only expect the best when it comes to fresh fruit. If you're in a time crunch, you might wanna come back when you have some time to wait. But let me just say; these smoothies were worth the wait.Booomb friggin' tastic! My Piña colada smoothie tasted magical. I could literally taste the freshness of it all. I sucked that thing down so damn fast that I started contemplating if I wanted another one (and yes, I'm still talking about the smoothies, ya nasties!). For how much it costs, I felt like a larger size would have been suitable. But, I understand why the prices are higher since their products are fresh and authentic. The staff was super sweet and apologized to us for the wait. But yeeep, the smoothies are pretty bomb here. Not sure how busy it gets in the afternoon, but having a smoothie as our morning fuel was a great idea. Make sure to stop here for a smoothie if you're hiking Manoa Falls or exploring the nearby Lyon Arboretum.

Smoothies were delicious and the açaí bowl was exceptional. Great way to freshen up after hike to the falls. Won't leave the island until I go back to try it again.

Great spot for some refreshing treats after a hike in Manoa Falls. Although the wait was kind of long, it really hit the spot. The açaí bowl in a pineapple cup is topped with a lot of fruit and had some granola in between. It's located on the second level, right above where you would pay for parking when entering on Manoa Rd.

Amazing! Must try, all of the flavors are hits! Would definitely come back to Hawaii just for this

A little hole in the wall on the way to a waterfall. The smell inside isn't great, but the food was good and scenery was beautiful.

The acai bowl in a pineapple was good and refreshing however the hot dog gave me food poisoning.
