So I've ordered about 5 times from them within the last couple months. The quality is always great and consistently. The tuna is my favorite and the salmon is pretty awesome too. I only prepare nigiri, sashimi, and sushi rolls with the fish. If you store it correctly, the fish lasts for 3-5 days in the cold part of the fridge. I tried another fish delivery service and it just doesn't compare. Go sign up for their emails and you'll get notification of deals. Totally worth the money.

We ordered an assortment of sashimi shipped to Orlando Florida. The package was shipped by Fedex, and although delayed one day the fish arrived ice cold and ready to eat. Kanpachi is usually my favorite, but this was just okay, perhaps because I'm still learning how to slice sashimi! But the salmon and tuna were both superb, as good as I've had from any restaurant. We'll definitely order from them again.

My friend told me how satisfied she was w/ Honolulu Fish Company's fish and customer service. I'm a believer. My son & his wife moved to Oregon in October 2017. They were homesick for Hawaii, missing family, friends, & food, especially sashimi and poke. As a surprise I placed an order for Premium Ahi that was on special for Mother's Day. They received their fish today. It arrived in perfect condition. They couldn't believe they were feasting on fresh ahi from Hawaii. Their reaction- "We are in heaven." Have ordered Ahi a few times and always pleased. The only reason I didn't go 5-stars was because a large blood line (unusable)was left on the tuna. So obviously, being weighed by the pound, I'm paying for inedible product.The tuna quality was amazing!

I love this place! James always gets me the best fish possible! Mahi, Hamachi, Mako, Opakapaka, ANYTHINGThe also can get you the most amazing King crab legs of doom! These crab legs are HUGE big enough to stuff two or three fingers in these are a special order and worth every dollar!This is the place and the prices are amazing Much Much better than any fish in grocery stores!If you name it they have it. The pictures i will post will speak for themselves!

I have been using these guys for years! From day one, it never felt like I was a customer, it always felt like they were my business partners. The restaurant bizz has enough obstacles. However, this review is different!I was lucky enough to be one of their first retail customers too. We are in Vail CO. and they were able to get fish to our lodge via FedEx! Awesome! Beware...$700 worth of Fish I received was not good. There was a Putrid, sickly smell in each vacuum package. Cold water rinse got rid of smell. But after small consumption of Salmon, Ahi, Hamachi, ended up with tingling tongue, taste of how packaging smelled, diarrhea and nose bleed for 3 days. Customer service said they would refund. No refund and no response to emails and phone calls. Had to submit claim with Bank to get refund. Also submitted complaint with BBB.

Amazing customer service! The best that we have ever experienced. My brother and I own Sushi Affair Catering, based out of San Diego. We've been making sushi since 2008. We flew in early to cater sushi for a wedding in Kailua. The restaurant chain, that was going to supply me the fish for the sushi suddenly stopped communicating with me and wouldn't return calls. They left us hanging and scrambling to find fresh fish last minute. So with only a day to find a reliable vendor, we received a lead to contact Honolulu Fish Company. it was a Godsend. We called the next day, 4:00 am, left a vm and got a call back right away. Miriam talked to us and said she could help us. Only thing, with COVID restrictions, they could only ship the same day but no guarantee on the time. No pickups. We told her our predicament. She talked with some of her people and they made an exception. She agreed for us to pick up outside their business. We drove to the building, she personally handed over our order. Nicely packed to keep cool. Mask protocol observed. Unfortunately when we got to Kailua, we opened the box and discovered that there was a mixup with the order. We got 1/2 the fish we ordered and others we didn't. We quickly called Miriam. She was very apologetic and promised that she would have someone deliver the rest of our order to Kailua before 4:00. As it turned out, Miriam drove to Kailua herself and delivered our fish! And with added extra lbs. Amazing customer service!! She went above and beyond our expectations. She saved the day, the sushi and the wedding. The Salmon, Ahi, Hamachi, additional fish, they were all fresh and delicious! We can't even thank her enough and Honolulu Fish Company for listening to our predicament and coming to our rescue.
