Honolulu Bagel Company

We got two bagels, both with the dill lemon cream cheese. One was a plain bagel, the other was an everything. We were disappointed because there was hardly any cream cheese on our bagel. The middle part makes it seem like a lot but there was not. If you look closely there's hardly any cream cheese on the bagel. We also got it toasted but it didn't taste like it was toasted. Looking at the reviews it seems people got more cream cheese on their bagel but maybe we got unlucky, I wish it was more consistent with how much goes on each bagel. The cream cheese does have great flavor, just wish there was more.

New place next to Doner where Soffritos was. I don't think there is a sign yet...maybe just the sandwich boards out on Fort Street, and then in front. Close at 1pm, so a little early for any late lunchers like I typically am. Owner said they bought out recipes and stuff from Lox of Bagel who was going to shut down and just disappear. Loved their bagels, so glad it will be around longer...and only a couple blocks away from me!You're looking at a $13-16 bagel sandwich. A little steep...and a shop down the street sells a similar lox sandwich for the same price but it comes with chips. But it's just a matter of what you like and can afford. The sandwiches sound pretty good, but think the veggie toppings are just tomatoes, onions and/or spinach. I'm a fan of sprouts...but I grow so can add my own. I like Lox, so that's what I get...for now. The bagel has a nice chew to it. Not super bready. She said they steam bake it (don't quote me on that). Pretty squeezably soft and somewhat holds it's shape even after a giant bite. Previous review said Everything was salty...so that's perfect for me! It is probably a little saltier and oniony than other places, but I like it like that. I like the spinach...makes me feel like I'm being healthy. I don't know what it is, but there is a taste in the sandwich that I like. A different caper? The schmear? I have no idea...but I am a fan. They gave me a bonus cinnamon chips baggie to samps. It's kinda wasted on me since I don't like sweet. But I tried one and was pretty good (but too sweet for me). It was crispy but still almost had the chew. I can't explain it. But I like that it wasn't so crispy that shrapnel goes flying. I shared the rest with my office so they can get a taste and go there. Support local!

I'm so glad a bagel place opened in Fort Street mall! I needed to expand my breakfast options haha. But anyways this cute shop opened up a week ago and is across from Scarlets next to Döner Shack! Prices are reasonable here! $3 for a bagel and $2 if you want a spread with it (you can also choose from a variety of bagels and spreads that they make). ***What I ordered ~ **Everything Bagel with Dill Cream Cheese (8.5/10) ~Their dill spread is super good! Very zesty, a little lemony, and refreshing. It's perfect to pair with the everything bagel. However, the reason why this isn't a 9 or 10 is because the everything bagel seasoning is pretty salty. It kind makes me want to drink water after a few bites. I thought I'd taste more garlic, but it's just a hint. Overall, Staff here is super friendly! I will probably come back and try their other bagels as well to compare. Side note: I wish we could give a 4.5 here because this place deserves a 4.5 instead of 4 stars!!

I ordered a toasted plain bagel with lemon dill cream cheese. The bagel was barely toasted, it was still very soft, and I prefer at least a little crunch. There also was a very small amount of cream cheese, which was really disappointing. The cream cheese did taste good though!

Bagels are really good and so are the Flavored creame cheese spreads. Service is great.

Yum!! So glad there's more food options in DT Honolulu . Fast service and super friendly. Lots of seating, nice ambiance, cozy shop feels.

So happy that there's a new bagel shop downtown! Service was great and bagel was delicious!
