Great venue to host a private party outdoors & really affordable for all the things you are able to rent out. They already have their own tents, chairs, tables, speakers, stage, etc. We had our baby shower and it was an amazing time, so much space & the bathroom is really clean with lots of parking space. You rent your own vendors we had our own bounce house, backdrops, & food. We all had a great time here!!

Facilities feel old, but it's pretty clean and large open spaces (that you're not allowed to go to). Workers aren't very friendly, haven't been said hi to, and the owner was a bit rude. Overall pass!

I am so happy to find out about the Daikon festival while shopping at Mari's Garden, I saw a sign posted about the festival and I had to add it to my calendar. Everything on the sign sounds interesting! I told my mom, family, and invited my sister and good friend. A total of 7 attended the festival. The Daikon Festival was held on May 12, 2018.What is Daikon Festival? This is the question I get from my co-workers and friends when I told them about the festival. I'm one to share my weekend experiences when I return back to work on Mondays. I've never heard of the Daikon festival until I experienced it myself. Daikon festival is a harvest festival to give thanks to the blessings of nature. Every living thing in this world is able to live thanks to these blessings. The air that we breathe, the warmth from the sun, and the clean water, all are created from these blessings. ((Yes, I totally agree!)) Daikon Festival is held once a year usually in May, the festival is a wonderful family event with free admission and lots of parking. Located in Mililani at Honbushin International Center, we missed the turn driving to Honbushin International Center. We turned in to the church across the center, then we realized Honbushin was across. FYI, business sign is very small. After making a turn on Waihonu St., Honbushin is the next driveway after the condos. You will go up a long curvy driveway until you get to the center. Please drive with caution and watch for cars exiting the center. What can you do at the Daikon Festival? There are various entertainment, food booths, plants and craft sales, purchase fruits and vegetables, cooking show, pick daikon, carrots, sunflowers ( for a small fee) and even sample daikon, ( the daikon are harvested and blessed). To pick your own daikon, it is limited to 50 per picking time and there are 4 different picking time. The fee is 10.00 and you also get a cute bag. You can pick your own daikon in their garden and one carrot is a gift from Honbushin. The daikon are huge! Picking your own sunflower cost 3.00 and they add a ribbon on your sunflower. All in all, We had a great time at the Daikon festival. We had fun shopping for plants, craft products, tsukemono and sushi rice. We got our Daikons & sunflowers, and enjoyed the entertainment. I never realize daikon tasted so good. What a wonderful first time experience and I can't wait for next year, totally recommend. Great and fun event, Blessings to all. Note, the fruits and vegetables are limited and sale out quick, best to go early. Bring a hat if you plan to pick a daikon, it gets hot in the back of the garden.

There are three major events held annually here. Free admission.First is the New Years Mochitsuki Festival. It's a celebration to give thanks for the blessing that we received during the past year and to pray for happiness and health for the coming year. This year we got to experience the authentic Japanese tradition of pounding mochi as a family and our son enjoyed the hands-on mochi pounding experience! Upon arrival, if you'd like to pound mochi, sign up to register, pay $10 donation, receive a number and wait for your turn. While waiting, you can receive a happiness blessing by the Honbushin Reverend. There's also live entertainment, a farmer's market, a free Inflatable Bounce House for the kids as well as the variety of mochi and food choices to eat and enjoy. Then, there's a harvest festival called Daikon Festival in May. There's food booths, live entertainment and vegetable bazaar. There's a harvest experience where one can sign up to pull out daikon and carrots of the garden.Lastly, Odori Festival in September. This is a fairly new festival which I have yet to experience...and hoping to check it out this year with the family to celebrate obon season.
