Stellar service from Louisa. If you are looking to pick up a few pieces or a complete redo of your furniture and accessories, then look no further than Louisa. We have been working with her for several months and she has gone above and beyond our expectations. There was a few hiccups on our last order, and it was immediately remedied. *This is a customer service review only*There are so few options when furniture shopping in Hawaii. After checking Yelp for recommendations I was even more disappointed. I was in the market for a new bedroom set, a couch and a dining room set. Off I went to see what I could find at Homeworld Aiea. If you didn't know, Homeworld is owned by C.S. Wo. They also own Ashley, Mattress World, apt. and Red Knot. Even though each store has its own name, it's all under the umbrella of C. S. Wo and most are in the same building. I walked into the main entrance at Homeworld and took a second to get my bearings. The showroom is huge! There was an older gentleman sitting near the front who greeted me and asked if I needed help. When I told him what I was looking for, his reply was to go look around and if I needed help come find him. Hmmm. Okay. I appreciate the no pressure approach but a little direction would have been helpful. I wander for a bit and find my way to Red Knot. Greeted promptly and after a quick survey decided that their style wasn't for me. I continued on through Slumber World. Seemed to be mostly mattresses. Moving on. I went upstairs and found most of what I was looking for up there. Typical furniture showroom layout, displayed by room. I found a few things I was interested in and had some questions but there was no one around. Kept walking. Made notes and took pictures of what I liked. The man from downstairs appeared said "Oh, you're still here?" Before I could tell him I was interested in a few things he said "I know shoppers like you. You're here to take pictures and go home and think about it before you decide to buy" Um. No. But at that point I wasn't going to correct him. I certainly didn't want to work with him. So I continued looking, took pictures and left. After checking out a couple other furniture stores I realized that Homeworld had a better selection, decent prices and the furniture seemed to be better quality. Did I want to go back? Nope. So I went online and was happy to see that you can order online. Yay! It even shows what's in stock. Great! Placed an order for a dining room set and a dresser. I got a confirmation email saying that they received my order. A few days later I get an email saying that 1 of my items was no longer in stock and isn't expected till December. No good. I called the number to cancel the item and got voicemail. Left my name and number. It was morning when I called. Still no return call by the afternoon so I call again. Voicemail and message again. Called again the next day and the next day. No answer. No return call. I called the Homeworld store but was told they can't help with online orders. I was so frustrated!!! At that point my only option was to send an email. It worked and I actually got a call back! The girl was helpful and apologetic saying they are short staffed and overwhelmed. She canceled my item and told me to anticipate my refund in a few days. Okay. They would contact me soon to set up delivery of the one remaining item.But after that experience I decided that I wanted to cancel my entire order. If the customer service is that poor, I don't want to support a company like that. And what if I have a problem with my furniture when it's delivered? No thank you. So another email and my business with them is done. I'll take my money elsewhere. Back on the hunt and I think I've found most of what I'm looking for somewhere else. The customer service is much better and higher quality products. In the end I'm glad it didn't work out, I think I'll be happier in the end.

Ordered my couch from here, which was super nice, we got it delivered on time, everything was great. After that couch broke, because we bought one with a usb charging port & reclining chairs. The wire started getting faulty and eventually stopped working. Luckily we did pay for warranty and was able to swap out for a new couch.This is where the 1 star happened. As our re- selection which means they took our couch back & allowed us to have our credit back for our couch, so we can select a new couch to replace our old one.We went in a few times and had a hard time finding one we liked. The sales lady kept calling and calling and even put the couch we were only looking at on hold. We had not told her we wanted it and I was so annoyed that she kept bugging me about when I wanted to get it delivered. Eventually I had to tell her off and finally she stopped calling. Went in on another occasion and FINALLY found a couch we wanted with a ottoman. Ordered our couch and got it. They said our ottoman wasn't in stock and had to be ordered, only to wait a few months. I said sure 4 months wait. Not bad. They said they would call me and keep me updated, fine.What frustrated me was after time has passed. I have gotten no call. No voicemail. No email. No texts.I called them back following up on my ottoman. AGAIN it got pushed back another month. I said ok PLEASE NOTIFY OF ANY CHANGES AND WHEN IT ARRIVES. 2 months passed and I called again to follow up. It kept happening like that until I waited a little over ONE YEAR!!! Finally I got a call for the FIRST TIME in A YEAR! I didn't have to follow up. My Ottoman came in and for the inconvenience they delivered it. Horrible they should have discounted it or something because it was too long a wait.I'm actually looking for a new couch for our other living room in our house and I'll tell you what, I'm not coming here for it.

Doing business with this company has been a nightmare!!! We received a bedroom set that was toxic it smelled like it was soaked in bug spray. They informed us that when it's shipped the containers are fumigated. The smell was so bad we couldn't sleep in our without getting nauseous.I had to return it.They tried to charge us for delivery from our deposit.I thought that was wrong since I had no furniture. And now they didn't even cancel the charges for the furniture with the credit card company.What the heck!!! It's just crazy how bad their customer service is no one even called to even see if they could help us find anything else.Never ever doing business with this company again.

Whenever we need to look for furniture, we will usually start here due to the awesome customer service we've experienced in the past.It was time for us to look for a new rocker/recliner. We were greeted by Derek Miyazaki as soon as we entered. We informed him on what we looking for and the features we wanted. He showed us all the floor models and was very patient with us as we sat on the ones we were interested in. While we were doing that, he checked what they had in stock and found a "special order" that's supposed to arrive in November or December. Whoever ordered it, changed their mind...we put a deposit on it!No pressure was shown, didn't feel rushed...satisfied with his terrific service!

While I was browsing, I was lucky enough to be approached by a great sales associate named Louisa Barba. She was super patient, helpful and knowledgeable. I don't buy furniture on a regular basis and was a little overwhelmed. After learning about my goals, Louisa helped me hone in on particular styles and materials while still staying within my set budget. She made the entire process super smooth and ensured that the delivery was also completed as expected. No issues at all. Six months later, I find the need for more furnishings and I'm happy to have Louisa's contact information as my go to. It's such a relief to start this process again without hesitation or anxiety. She's the best!

I went to Homeworld yesterday looking to buybaome furniture for my home and 7 sales people passed and no one gave me no hello.or may I help you. I even went to the outlet section and even theybsidnt acknowledge me. On Saturday I had gone to Ashley Furniture in Salt Lake and a young ma. Name Chandler greeted me and even helped me for 1 1/2 hours and I didn't buy anything. He was courteous and very patient with me. He showed around at furniture I may have wanted but it wasn't the right ones. So he did share that they have Homeworld which I think was kind of him knowing that I May buy something over there instead, I was invisible to them. Maybe because Iam Hawaiian and do t look like some.of the other people in there I dont know but my friend who was with me who has Alzeimers noticed it also. Sorry Homeworld you have a Beautiful store but you ahould train your sales people to not look at anyone whom they think is not capable of buying anything. I bought 2 recliners and going back to buy a book shelf a mirror and a headboard. Thank You Chandler and Ashley furniture foe hiring a pleasant young man.
