Holoholo Drive-Thru Espresso

Spontaneous coffee trip.Service was quick and wasn't feel rushed despite getting there 5 minutes before closing.The drink was so delicious. One of the best strawberry matcha's I've ever tasted. Creamy and enough sweetness. The outdoor shop is really cute. Outdoor seating is available if you don't have a car or don't feel like driving.We also got an iced mocha and guava lemonade. The lemonade was bomb. Keeping on the list next time we visit Hawaii!

I really loved how their drive through was. The menu had lots of options and I'm excited to try the other items. This time I only got an iced tea. I wanted an iced matcha latte but I couldn't justify the price epically with an alternative milk ($1 extra charge). That would make the matcha about $10 and it seems really steep. I will try one next time. This time I got an iced mango peach tea. Half sweet. And it was good, perfectly sweet for me and good flavor. Good price, being $3. Overall I would return again.

I ordered an iced 16oz white chocolate peppermint mocha with whole milk. It was pretty good and fairly priced. The drink cost less than $7, and I made sure to tip the baristas.The customer service is what bumped my experience to 5 stars. The employees are very friendly! They know their regulars well, but are also quick to welcome newer customers.It's super cool that this location offers drive-thru and walkup. Cute seating area too!

Got their iced mocha. While it wasn't something to write home about, it got me awake for the drive ahead and hit the craving for coffee. Drive thru style around a shack, with what looked like the option to get out of your car, walk up, order, and sit at the bench.Service was relatively quick, but because it isn't like a structured drive thru, it's a lot of wondering if you should pull up to accommodate other customers while waiting, or just sit still. Doesn't look like they take too many orders at a time though, so it's probably safe to assume you'd be okay with either!

I'm always down to try a new matcha spot. So I made my way to Kailua and did the drive thru. Service was great. Very friendly! It's a small spot but it works! They were quick! I was in and out. There were a few people ahead and behind me but I didn't wait long. I would try other drinks again. I had the layered matcha with strawberry. I just had it with regular milk. I liked the taste of it. The strawberry wasn't overpowering. I would come back to try other drinks as well!

Whenever in Kailua or waimanalo I need to get some holoholo. The girls working are always so sweet and kind. Cute little coffee shop with their drive up area in waimanalo makes it so easy. I love trying their different drinks, but my go to is always the matcha for sure.

We were doing errands in Kailua and needed a coffee fix. It was perfect timing to see this drive thru coffee place. The area was easy access and the building was simple and cute. The gal who took our order was friendly and helpful. The service was quick and the coffee was delicious! We both had the cold brew Kukane! We loved it. We can't wait to drive thru again for our coffee fix.

If I'm looking to treat myself, Holoholo is where I go to. Other than big coffee chains, this is one of the only local coffee shops that does drive thru and it's so convenient! The service is so friendly and you don't even need to get out of your car -- what more can you ask for? Great coffee? Check. Great matcha? Check. Energy drink infusions! You betcha! What I crave from here is their cold foam! From macadamia, lavender, or coconut cold foam. It's the perfect thing to top any drink! These drinks will get you BUZZING. If you really need energy for the day, this is where you go. Their Queen and King drinks come with cold brew AND a double shot of espresso (topped with cold foam of course). For me, I'm going to get either their strawberry or mango matcha. These drinks get the caffeine buzz going too! Pro tip: be sure to mix your matcha well before drinking. It looks super pretty layered but you're gonna wanna mix all those flavors together.

Love the name, drinks and vibe...Holoholo is found in Kailua and this Drive-thru Espresso is exactly that. I'm just fascinated of the concept and how they got inspired to create such a cool place to get your drink without leaving your car.Don't blink or you'll pass right by them but look for that dark green "Holoholo" hut and it's seriously is a drive-thru as you remain in your car and the staff will take your order and be on your way...cool! Though I drove up and park in the dirt lot in the back that seems to be basically all reserved stalls so street parking is the way to go if you're lucky to find one but I just had to stop by without holding up traffic by parking and swing by. Not so strange enough I wasn't feeling coffee but really wanted a good look at their menu and was surprised despite their name how many teas they have along with the amount of flavors to add. Chai and Matcha regular or layered with Strawberry or Mango, or Italian soda in over 20 flavors, "Redbull Infusions" and something I had a question for the staff outside taking the orders..."Lotus Energy" which is a type of energy drink that did got my interest and had to give it a try. So very light and refreshing I was so happy with my choice and am excited to start my day with a healthy sip along side a lovely place chilling on a couple provided picnic style tables was nice.Just happy to have found this place and know that I will be back as it was a great place to sip sip and enjoy.Thank you!

We tried the strawberry and mango matcha!! Got the large and it was HUGE. What a good worth of the money. Even though it was drive thru, it was fast and there was only one worker I believe. It was super big area so even if there were a lot of people, it would fit many cars. Definitely want to come back for more of the seasonal drinks.
