Hokey Pokey Shop

Wandering around the streets lead me to some delicious Ahi Tuna Tacos! I ordered the spicy ahi tuna tacos and kalua pork plate. 2 plates for $30! Both very delicious and served up quickly. I'm coming back tomorrow morning for breakfast.

Place is on a little street right next to my AirBnB, freshly cooked food, great flavor, good pricing. Breakfast solid, and same with the Poke.They are a bit tucked away, but in between 2 main streets. Family run, and they're fantastic for breakfast and lunch.

Best Mac and cheese in Waikiki ! I would have taken a photo but it was so good it was finished before I had a chance.

This is thee best soul food I've ever had. I've been too all parts of the World and this right here is SOUL food. Dwayne legit went above and beyond for me and my girlfriend to make sure we got his absolute best. He's so passionate about his cooking to the point where he served us our food and then had us try out some of his new creations he was whipping up to get our opinion so he can serve to his future customers. Very genuine person and loving environment but most importantly he has what a family own business should be. I will definitely visit the Hokey Pokey shop every time I come to Honolulu. Delicious . This is a small family oriented.. little diamond in the raw restaurant. Who would ever think of a restaurant having a SOUL FOOD & POKÈ menu under one roof. Haven't tried the Pokè yet but the fried chicken is delicious. The prices are great and it's well worth your money . The bolognese was the best that I've tasted, I had it with chicken , my boy had it with beef. I personally couldn't finish the whole plate in one sitting. I also tried the lemon pepper grilled chicken , garlic shrimp, mac n cheese and candied yams. Unfortunately I ate it before I could take a picture. You're welcome to go and try it yourself. The chef is very friendly and handsome I might add.

The poke was incredible. And the owner was so kind. He welcomed us into his tiny kitchen and showed us how he prepared his traditional Hawaiian luau food and gave us samples. He took great pride in his food and rightfully so.

Spicy poke had great flavor very fresh. Service was great very welcoming. Looking forward to going back!
