See LOW RATED YELLOW STARS, don't be too quick to make a judgment call and decide not to go. Sometimes it's best to check it out for yourself than to assume it won't meet your expectations. This is exactly what happened to me! As we turned the corner bend, "Whoaaaaa this park is spacious and the playground is colorful"! Need to say both me and my son was super excited to check it out! 1) This is Park has its own lot. No need to worry about Parking on the street like most. There are ample parking. 2) Restroom is not your typical Park Restroom! From the outside is a small building on the right side of the playground. The Women's Restroom is very clean inside with 2 stalls (1 small / 1 large) and the best part it has *Baby Changing Station*, *Seat Covers* & *Soap Dispenser*! If you need to bring your baby in a stroller, no need to worry about getting the wheels dirty and wet. 3) Can't say enough how the colors really brightens the mood and has my son excited to play! It's safe for ages 3+ and with a fun challenge in the middle to get their mind stimulated. 4) Here's a fun twist, on the left side there's a Fitness Equipment Area. It's super convenient to incorporate a quick workout while your keiki play at the playground (of course, if they're old enough to play without assistance). Either way, there's playing space for both parents and keiki! 5) If you're an Ohana with a Family Dog, there's also a fenced off Doggy Area to the far left! I haven't been inside, but from the outside it looks quite roomy for the doggies to run around. 6) Alongside with the great variety of choices, there's a large field of grass! Perfect space to have practices, large groups to workout, let the keiki run around loose, and even kite flying! As large as this park is, you may want to bring an umbrella or baby tent for shade as there's not really anywhere to relax other than a tree in the back or near the restrooms. Upside, there's 3 tables if you want to kau kau as well! Hoalauna Community Park hits all the aspects you'd want for everyone! Let me tell you, it's a "ONE STOP SHOP"!

What more can you ask for in a community park? Hoalauna provides something for everyone in your family, no matter their age! Your fur babies, too! 2 dog parks, multiple exercise equipments, playground for your little ones, picnic tables for you parents and kupuna's, an entire 30+ space parking lot, CLEAN restrooms; need I say more? There is also a ginormous grassy area that can be great to let your little ones one freely without getting too close to the road. One downside to the park; there isn't much shade. Aside from the minimal tree shade, and the shade from the umbrella partially covering the playground, there's not much to work with. Fixable by bringing your own umbrella (: We love this park! Mahalo to the previous yelper who mentioned that they allow parties here (with a permit). I'll definitely be looking into that for future events!

Beautiful park with 2 dog park areas (small dogs & large dogs), playground, large field and decent sized parking lot. And most importantly, there's a bathroom. Enjoy coming here to let my dog exercise & run around off his leash.

This is a good family park. They have everything from wide open field for the kids to run around or fly a kite (no trees). They have a small playground for the kids. There is a lot of parking, luckily we have never encountered an issue with that. For the adults, they have a workout area with bars, beams, and more. It is in the same area as the playground so it's really easy to get in your workout. For all you doggie owners, there is also an eclosed park for the dogs. There are several picnic benches, so pack up and have a family day!

Huge gaming area. So it seems kids today love to stay home and play video games, why when you have a whole area like this to play? The community park is large. So large, that during the year the EWA community holds movies and swap meets here. There was going to be an Easter Egg Hunt but Mother Nature didn't comply. It's so large, that coaches bring there teams here to practice flag football, soccer, and I even saw a few teens practicing marching band. And I believe you can hold a family party here. I did see a bounce house and people celebrating a couple of times. The place is nicely maintained. Trash in the trash cans instead of on the grass and the parking lot stalls are big. There are a couple of tables and a few benches. Personally I would lay out a blanket on the beautiful thick grass. All the exercise benches and kids playground equipment works. And I'm happy to say there is no graffiti anywhere. There's a large restroom area and that's also well maintained. And occasionally you find a police officer catching up on their paperwork in the parking lot. At the far left is a dog park. Great for your furry friends to run around and smell each other's butts. I recommend not placing you blanket near the dog park. Overall five stars. All the equipment works and no ugly graffiti. The place would be more perfect with a BBQ grill but that's a liability for the association so I gotta understand. Now excuse me, I'm putting my phone down and enjoy the simple things in life. I suggest you do too. M

The park is nice, as it has a place fenced off for dogs to play. However, if you want to have any event their, or set up a tent, table or anything like that you have to get a permit that cost $10 dollars an hour if you live in the community and $20 an hour if you do not have someone sponsoring you that lives in the community. They also charge a $75 deposit that is refunded in 7 days as long as the park is not damaged. The only problem is their is others using the park while you are using it and no one comes and signs off saying the park is not damaged when you are done. It would be nice to have signs up as most residents do not even know they have to have a permit. Their many other parks close by that are free this one should be the same if it is just a gender reveal or birthday party something simple like that.

This review is for the PARK area. Really nice and great play equipment for the kids. Unreal as it's less than a mile from Geiger Park -that is totally trashed. Please keep this park safe and in working order! No graffiti and everything is brand new. Bathrooms are clean and fully stocked with everything needed, even a baby changing station. Parking lot is newly paved and has a lot of parking. The only thing that could improve this location is some trees for shade and a few more tables/benches. Will definitely be bringing the kids by again!

Cute little park. Came here for an Easter event for Ewa by Gentry.I appreciated the little parking lot in front of the park itself. The park that we go to only has street parking. The jungle gym was clean, no graffiti. There were nearby tables to sit on, but no benches right next to the play area. They also had an exercise area for adults with boards that had the instructions for some of the workouts.

This park is Huuuuuuge lol. They have an open field area that can host multiple sports at the same time (flag football, soccer etc) and also 2 jungle gyms for the keikis to play on. When they get tired of the a jungle gym, they can go over to the outdoors workout area that is well maintained. Parking is never an issue here, their parking lot has very good amount of spaces available. Their bathrooms are very well maintained, and the plus side to this is that they are located directly next to the jungle gyms. That way you don't have to travel half the length of the park just to do you business like other parks. The one thing you'll notice here is that they have 2 dog parks that allows yiur furry animal the freedom to run full sprint if they choose to. The dog park is pretty straight forward. No hills, no digging area. In fact the only things that's in the dog park itself is trash bins, and a bench for the owners to sit on. I love this park because this is where we play football with my kids, and also a great place t9 get in a circuit workout in. My kids love this place because of the fun things to do. My only pet peeve is that the shade is basically non-existent. You have but 1 tree , and if it's hot out and someone else is under it, you're basically out of luck lol. Most parents fi d shade under the small available space in the bathroom area lol. Overall my wife and I will continue to bring our kids here because, well they just love it here. Aloha.

Very spacious park located in Ewa Beach. Park is located just down the road from the Hawaii Prince Golf course and more down and across the street is the Laulani Village shopping center. This park offers a jungle gym area for the keikis, a little workout station, and also shares the area with a GATED dog park. The bathrooms are not too far away and have always been well maintained. A bulletin board is erected by the bathrooms so that you can keep up to date with the events that are held in the area (i.e. movie at the park, swap meets, etc..)My kids love coming to this place because when they get tired of the jungle gym area, they can swing on over to the work out station and practice their gymnastics moves on the pull up bars and whatnot. They only problem, as with most parks we frequent, is the shade. Meaning, it's non-existent! Most moms would agree but I suggest you pack up a folding chair and park your butt by the bathrooms, cause that's pretty much the only shaded area there is.Other than that, it's a great park to let your little monsters run loose...get them good and tired and they'll take a good nap afterwards!
