Hitched In Hawaii

I can't say enough positive things about Hitched in Hawaii and Valerie in particular. Wedding planning is HARD and Val made the process so EASY and FUN! She had my best interests at heart and her recommendations and guidance really made the day PERFECT. I know that people say there are things that don't work out on the day of but that really wasn't the case for my special day. Val made sure everything was seamless and I really could just BE IN THE MOMENT. She is so trustworthy that you can just 'let go'. She also has incredible relationships with the vendors we used and that made everything a lot easier on that front as well. We cannot recommend her and her company enough!

I couldn't be more grateful to have worked with the team from Hitched in Hawaii! For starters, planning a wedding during a pandemic with very strict regulations was stressful enough, but planning a destination wedding made it that much more difficult, all while working as a nurse during this pandemic. I remember reaching out to wedding coordinators/ planners when we initially started planning our wedding back in January 2021 and I didn't feel too inclined to invest in day of coordination as I was so excited to plan on my own. A few weeks leading up to our wedding day I realized that, while we had planned most of our wedding details and vendors, I had a rush of vendors reaching out to me constantly while I was at work and I became quite overwhelmed. I remember following Hitched in Hawaii for some time and decided to reach out to inquire about day of coordination. Lucky for me, Val picked up the phone and I instantly felt a connection! I was very big on feeling a connection with my vendors and I knew from the moment Val and I had our initial consult I had to have Hitched in Hawaii as a part of our wedding day. I had the pleasure of having Lani (Ashley) as my day of coordinator. I literally couldn't have asked for a better person to be there helping me on the day of my wedding! Lani was absolutely AMAZING. I only had about two weeks until my wedding day and WOW might I add Lani was so on top of everything. To getting my timeline organized, to her timely communication, to being my point person when it came to communicating with all of my vendors, and all of the little details. She helped make my small intimate wedding into the most magical night for my husband and I. Lani's attention to detail cannot be matched. She was there for anything we needed and by anything I mean anything and everything. It was so windy the day of our wedding and Lani came to the rescue with the gorilla tape making sure our table runners and center pieces did not fly off the tables. Lol. The morning of the wedding day I realized one of our vendors forgot to send over the cake knife and serving set we rented. One quick text to Lani and she took care of it and got us a knife and serving set herself. She even noticed that our ceremony arch was leaning and reached out to our vendor to come and fix the arch to make sure it looked perfect come ceremony time. It was all the details and more that made our experience working with Lani and Val so incredible. Investing in Hitched in Hawaii to be a part of our wedding was definitely one of the best decisions. I remember hearing from so many family members rave about my coordinator. So huge shout out to Lani! Thank you so much for helping make our day so magical!!

Absolutely fabulous from start to finish. We couldn't have wished for better service for our Hawaii Wedding. Travelling from Australia, we felt comfortable throughout the whole process knowing that the team at Hitched in Hawaii had everything covered! Would highly recommend.

Valerie is amazing! My now husband and I hired Valerie to assist us with our day of coordination for our August 2020 wedding. Val is very professional, friendly, and easy to talk with. What stood out to me the most was her attention to detail and her response time to my questions. She was wonderful to work with! To be honest, I was that Bride that did not want to invest in a planner because I could easily do it myself, (having experience in organizing and planning my own events in the past) however, after working with Valerie I am so glad we invested in her and her team. I would do it all over again! With everything going on with the pandemic this year, my husband and I needed someone who could help support us through it all, especially the last few weeks. We planned most aspects of our wedding up until the last month, and with so much uncertainty every single day of this year (and so many different wedding plans changed later), we were fatigued and wanted someone who could help with all the things we missed. Val was this incredible support! She was wonderful at reassuring me that everything would be okay, and kept me calm through the entire process. She was so gracious, and helped me think through little details that I would have never thought of for that day. Valerie was also so kind to reassure me that my husband and I weren't crazy for changing our wedding day date!She managed to on such short notice get all my vendors to come to my rescue for the wedding ceremony that we decided to move from a Saturday to a Wednesday (3 days earlier) that same wedding week. *The reason we moved the date was because of the local gathering restrictions, and having my immediate family in town, so it was necessary to make sure they could still be present.* Val was a miracle worker! We literally decided within 8 hours that I was going to get married that night, and without having ever met her in person (we were only conversing over the phone and email for weeks) she was able to make sure all my vendors showed up and did their job. I was prepared to do everything myself last minute, yet Valerie made sure hair and makeup showed up at my house, and the photographer and videographer were on site for the ceremony. My wedding day would have been much different if it weren't for Hitched in Hawaii. I cannot thank Valerie and her team enough. I recommend Val & Hitched in Hawaii to everyone I know for all your wedding planning needs!

After a lot of craziness that 2020 wedding planning occurred for my fiancee and I, we are hired Valerie and her team for day of wedding coordination. Val and Kammy were absolutely amazing!!! While I grew up in Hawaii, I now live in Seattle. Planning a destination wedding is no easy feat, but Val made the process so easy. She worked with my vendors to ensure services were being rendered according to my specifications. On the day of the wedding, while our ceremony & reception were at one location, the bridal party was getting ready at another. My biggest concern was coordinating the arrival & set up of our vendors. I arrived and everything was perfect! If there were any hiccups that day, I had no idea as Kammy took care of everything! Kammy kept the wedding moving and on time, which was HUGE for me as I hate being late. THANK YOU VAL & KAMMY!!! Thanks to you two, I didn't have a single bridezilla moment. I'm sending all my girlfriends your way. :)

Val and her team were stellar on our wedding day! Leading up to the wedding, Val was our confidant and thought partner on all the logistics for the day of. She has great contacts for vendors and she would find quotes from which we got to chose. 5 months before our wedding, our original venue canceled on us(!!!). I called Val right away and she was the Zen spirit I needed. She quickly helped us brainstorm and call around to new venues and through her network we found the best venue we could have ever found - even better than our first and it fit our style much better. Val was an amazing support. I can't say enough about how much she went above and beyond to keep us on top of our planning. Her eye for style is perfect and she's very honest about timeline, budget, costs, etc. Staying within budget is just as important to her as it is to you! On the day of, she and her team were on top of it all which allowed my new hubby and I to enjoy the party! Thank you, Hitched in Hawaii!!

We are so thankful to Valerie for making our wedding everything we imagined. From start to finish, she handled every detail with care and made sure that our entire day went smoothly. The venue setup and decorations were perfect. She listened to our vision and created the perfect ceremony and reception for us.She was very organized throughout the planning process and was so flexible with the small challenges that came up along the way, like our last-minute cake mishap and helping us print our welcome sign. She also helped us find the perfect fit for our ceremony officiant, which was really important to us.We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we highly recommend Valerie to anyone looking for a coordinator!

The ladies at Hitched in Hawaii made all of our wedding day dreams come true!! They are so kind, friendly, responsive, professional, and offer so much help throughout the planning process. Lani was everywhere at once on our wedding day, working her magic to make everything happen while still always being there for us. I am so grateful for all of HiH's help with everything in our wedding. Looking back on the day, HiH will be a fond memory. You can't go wrong with these girls!

Valerie did an amazing job on my cousin's wedding. And my cousin is terrible at making decisions so I know it wasn't an easy job. She was able to wrangle answers out of the bride and groom without completely freaking them out on the amount of work they had left to the last week before their wedding. On the day of the wedding, Val was the 1st one on site and the last to leave. She and her assistants helped keep the night moving since we didn't have an emcee. She was so good I've hired her full services for my wedding next year! Val is very personable, well connected and has already given us so many tricks and secrets to making a budget conscious wedding look spectacular. We're excited to work with her throughout the next year after witnessing an already successful piece of her work first hand.
