Hirokase

Had a chance to experience Chef Hiro's sushi at a friend's private bday party. So nice for a night in and with high quality, dry age imported and local fresh fish. Beautiful omikase served on gorgeous dishwear in the comfort of home. Everything was delicious and chef was very professional

There are many great sushi chefs out there, yet Hiro is on a different level entirely - he is an artist and his sushi station is his canvas. More objectively, Hiro has trained under Nobu and Morimoto and has many years of experience under his belt (in Japan, California, Hawaii, and parts of Europe). I first sampled Hiro's private omakase for a birthday party. It was an incredibly easy process to book Hirokase, and his team had everything prepared for the event (plates, tableware etc.). All we needed to bring was some sake and empty stomachs. The omakase presentation was phenomenal - he did a great job of explaining where the various fish were from, and he prepared them in his own unique style - one that isn't easily replicated. The courses were delicious and filling - plus, the theatrics were lots of fun. It was such a good experience, I booked Hiro 3 more times for different occasions. Everyone I've referred to Hiro has ended up doing repeat dinners with him. Or, at least purchases his bentos. Notable celebrities have hired Hiro too.If you're looking to impress some guests with an outstanding omakase dinner, don't hesitate to hire Hiro!

Aloha, We have booked Hiro & Randi twice now. We "hens" love our sushi, and having Hiro & Randi come to our homes, has been a pleasure and convenient. We can relax, BYOB and yak yak cluck cluck away with each other as well as Hiro & Randi. We enjoy sharing our sake with them too, LOL. Hiro prepares approximately a 14+ course sushi service with miso soup, so ono. He explains each fish, where it's from with a variety of preparations, i.e. smokey to special salts, topped with caviar and other fish roes, oh so yummy. Randi is Hiro's right hand gal, she serves, cleans, preps, and has a glass of sake with us too. So fun! You'll love the presentation and taste tremendously. A total happy deal at $150 PP (first time) unfortunately price went up to $200 PP now. Enjoy my pictures! A hui hou!

Want the fine dining experience without having to leave your home? This is for you! I've had the absolute pleasure of having Hiro as my omakase chef twice and both times I was blown away! Hiro is friendly and highly knowledgeable about the art of sushi. He comes to your home (normally with an assistant) and prepares the omakase feast. His sushi is much more than a slice of fish on rice. It's a whole experience! Using only the best quality ingredients, each piece is thoughtfully crafted to create a flavor explosion on your tastebuds! After he's done, he cleans and washes his dishes and leaves without a trace he was there (except happy stomachs). I would highly recommend for any sushi lovers looking for high-scale meal in the comfort of their own home!

If you are looking for a great priced delicious sushi bento give Hiro a try. I like to go get omakase but sometimes when there is no baby sitter this is the best option for take out sushi on Honolulu!!

Best way I can explain this experience is if this was like an ALL-STAR baseball game. Every batter coming to the plate (every plate of sushi) is a beast. You don't wanna walk any of them cause the next guy up is a monster too. And you would think that you got through the heart of line up after the 4th or 5th batter but then Mike trout just steps up to the plate and behind him is Bryce Harper and Fernando tatis. I only wish it was like baseball so that when you get through the line up you can do it all over again It's a crescendo of anticipation and non stop hit after hit after hit experience. Heard about this guy from another friend and we booked Hiro for our friends yakudoshi. I don't want to talk too much about places, because I don't need him to be too busy. Granted he isn't cheap, but better and cheaper than Onodera which is also a must try. I cannot say for the price, you will be super full, but I will say that night was one of the best meals I have had with the people and we even told Hiro he could and should charge more. Honestly, best sushi experience I had where everything was great.

The best fine dining me and my family was looking for ! im so thankful i got to witness this place firsthand , the freshness of the fish was breathe taking and high quality !! served on amazing dishware with so much pleasure and knowlegde about the food was amazing !

New sushi bar inside of Haus Supper Club. Went this past weekend for an omakase with my girlfriend. The food was delicious and beautiful. My girlfriend and I were pleased with the the assortment of fish and would highly recommend coming here for an innovative take on the sushi experience.
