Rolled Up In HereEvery city, town, or village has one. These small little mom and pop shops that sell a variety of items, mostly food, household goods, personal hygiene stuff, and other miscellaneous bad habit "fixtures." It can be excellent convenience for finding exactly what you need when you want it most and sometimes, just sometimes, if you are lucky, a rare find or two!Firstly, why is this place called Hilltop? There are no hills for miles, this area is relatively flat as frack! The speedbump outside maybe!? Secondly, this car came of nowhere as I walked into the store, to seemingly block the entrance. (What for? To block my getaway or something?) Whats that all about? A lady comes out of the car and enters the store and joins another lady behind the counter without saying a word...hmmm. Did the car spawn out from an invisible hilltop? As I just try to look around hoping to find something out of the ordinary to purchase or maybe a drink thats out of season, I can't help but feel eyes watching my every move. Sadly, yeah I get this too but I understand absolutely whats going on. I don't see anything I like but I do see some hats along the top of the wall. I take my time looking at them but can also feel the buzzing gaze of dark energy, eerily focused on me.Finally, I decide enough is enough and leave. Before I go, I cheekily exclaim, "Thank You!" Of which was met with more uncomfortable staring and extremely awkward silence.Caps and Rice anyone? One and Done.

Standard mom and pops store. I've gone here a few times out of sheer convenience... mainly when I'm too lazy to walk the longer distance to the gas station across the street. My main issue with this place is the lack of variety. I went here for a specific type/brand of chips and they had nothing that came close. Drink selection was also limited.

Most unsanitary place in the zip code. The products are old and almost expired but they still try to sell it. I don't see an inspection sticker also. Sad place

It's a small mom and pop store. I enjoyed going into convenience stores like this because they got the coolest unusual stuff that you sometimes cant buy at regular grocery stores. I miss the old fashion ice cream made by Carnation and also you can buy those cheap flip flops. When you are visiting Hawaii and you just need regular flip flops that doesnt cost like a fortune, you might as well get them at a store like this. Thats only if you are the type that dont care for flip flops. If you want to buy flip flops that will last forever, then go to another store. I came in to get those Bud Light Lime. I was going to hang out with old friends and just drink up with some pupus. Yep.....Great store.

Little dirty quikie Mart ...I wouldn't recommend this place to no one.. If u need convenience go to chevron. A lot of there items are expired. And they have very nasty attitudes. They don't speak clear and then get upset when u ask them to repeat themselves..probably want make a difference ..but they lost a customer..

Great place for convience but a little pricey for what the quality of things are there. Also count your change they do math in their head and make mistakes often and they end up short changing you sometimes.

Probably the rudest service I've ever had at a mom and pop place. I went in to buy a soda and there's a $7 minimum for credit on a handwritten sign I couldn't see. I apologized after the dude literally swatted my credit card out of my hand and yelled, "No can!" So then I said sorry and went and grabbed another 5 or so dollars worth of stuff to hit the minimum. When I got back, out of habit, I hit bypass pin on my card, which apparently you can't do here either. So the lady who works here rips out the receipt, crumples it up and throws it at me and tells me to tap again. I tap for Apple Pay because there is an icon that says you can and she yells, "Card only!" I grew up here in Hawaii and I love small stores like this, but dang. I've never felt so much like an inconvenience before. All about small businesses and will almost always choose the small business over the chain. This one? I would never choose again. Next time I need something I'll probably sit down in a restaurant just for a drink if I need to. Also, it's super dark in there and some of the drink fridges don't work, but they still serve out of them. So... beware.

I went in to buy a small bag of chips, I pulled out my card to pay and the guy yells at me saying "NO CAN." And I asked what? He says "NO CAN! $7 MINIMUM!" First of all, the sign was so small you can barely even notice it. Sign should be larger and placed in a better area. So we went back to get something that was a lower price so we could pay with the cash we had on hand. When we paid the guy didnt even hand me my change. Just dropped it on the counter and I had to grab it myself. Rudest service ever. Would not recommend this place to anybody. Ps. it was dark and shady in the store and the old guy working is a bitch.

FUCK THIS PLACE! I'm gonna report them to the FEDS & the IRS! I gave my son $12-two $5s & two $1 bills to go buy some sodas around 2:15pm. I sent my eldest teenager daughter to go with him. They come back with 3 20oz soda bottles & just 95 cents in change. I asked, "How much was the total?" He said, "$7.05." I asked, "How much did you pay?" He said, "I gave them all the money." OMG! So I went back there at 2:26pm with him to correct the mistake. The old Korean lady tried to say he only paid $8.00. I said, "NO because I only gave him $12.00 so that's impossible with the bills I gave him." My daughter correct her again & repeats the bills that my son had. She still insisted I was wrong. After going back & forth for 15mins, the old Korean man tells me to come back at 5pm so their daughter can replay the video & see who's wrong. I'm still irritated but I come back at 5pm. I'm watching the video replay & I can't even tell what's going on cause the transaction happened so fast but the daughter quickly agrees with her parents. In the end, even though it was a $3.00 difference, it's the principle! While I'm still arguing with the daughter, the Korean man just throws $4.00 at me & says in broken English, "You make mistake!" Then him & his wife start yelling at me & my kids in Korean & shooing us to GET OUT! Oooh if only I could kick them right in the hips! Shady MUTHAFUCKAS! The FBI/RICO/IRS should investigate because you have to buy $5.00 worth of stuff in order to break bills larger than $20.00. Even the DOH should inspect because their food items look hella EXPIRED & stale! Stay away from this place & take your money elsewhere! Way OVERPRICED! Fucking RIP OFF & they should be SHUT DOWN PERMANENTLY! Check their Green Cards too cause I wouldn't be surprised if they're ILLEGAL ALIENS either!
