Love a base thrift store!! I shopped here before when we were stationed here, but moved away during covid. Just moved back to the island & I'm very happy to see this store just as it was!!! They have great prices & the ladies are very kind!!

So military bases sometimes have thrift stores....how cool is that!Since I like to support our troops and save money, this place was a god send for me (hold your horses, I know proceeds dont fund the troops). Yes, you need to have military access to come here and if you have that you're golden! They had some of the best prices I've seen on the island, I found a vintage Def Leppard shirt for $2 and otherwise found really cheap clothes to wear to the beach and work. It was double punch day when we went so I took part in that and gave the card to my friend who is local. All in all, one of my favorite thrift stores on Oahu!

If you have base access, this place is a great resource for inexpensive treasures. You don't have to have a military ID to shop here, but it is on base. It is generally well-curated. It's a relatively small shop compared to Goodwill or Savers, but I've found some delightful gems here. Some things can be a bit pricy for thrift, but they almost always have special sales going on with items half-price or books 10 for a dollar. Savers and Goodwill prices have been rising these days, too, and I think the Hickam Thrift Shop is more or less in line with them. Kid clothing can often be very inexpensive here (and there's a big baby/toddler room) plus they have a good amount of local school shirts/uniforms. Toys, home goods, and holiday decor seem to go fast. All purchases help fund grants and scholarships to the military community and beyond. There is a small fitting room. There is a punch card if you spend more than $10 in a transaction. No refunds or returns. If you volunteer for a clothing sort, you can earn a discount for 50% off your purchase by volunteering for a few hours - they often post those opportunities on their facebook page.

What a wonderful thrift store and true hidden gem on the island! Located on Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, you must have base access (or come with someone who does) to shop here. It is run by military family volunteers and the care shows. It is located near the airport and GSA warehouses. The store is kept extremely clean and organized. The cashiers are immediately inside the doors and the staff is all friendly and helpful. Seasonal items are to the right, with furniture and decorative home goods all around. At the back is the book and media section, cutely including a chair to take a look through a book (or wait for people trying on clothes)! The store is then divided into separate rooms: toys, exercise/outdoor gear, kitchen/bath, and young children toys and clothing. Art and signs are on all the wall space. Prices are kept very low. It is a great place to clean out when leaving the island, or shop to fill a new home!Parking is ample and free in the area. It's easy to find, just follow the signs off the main road. Restrooms are available on request. Hours here are very limited due to the volunteer nature: MWF 9am to 1pm and some Saturdays. It's best to check their social media and/or call before making the trip there.

Love thrift stores but unfortunately this one is not for me. The workers pick and choose who they want to help. I definitely feel a sense of racism each time I enter and don't receive assistance while other particular groups do. Such a shame won't be back. Navy side is way better and friendlier anyways.

Definitely a hidden gem with lots of treasures if you're willing to dig. Open Monday, Wednesday and Friday it's located on your right almost immediately after you enter from the gate closest to the airport. If you're looking for little things around the house, check this place out. For example, I needed a coaxial cable, $5 at the store or $1 here. It's not something that has to be brand new but it is something you really need. It's always pretty busy but there is a lot of parking available.

Cute place. Nicely organized and easy to shop. WAY over priced for a thrift store. $10 for small wall hangings, $6 clear vases, $20 blankets... they do have daily deals that make for good bargains.

Oh, how I miss this Thrift Shop!! Like many military members, I've since moved away from Hickam - but have not found anything like HTS! I liked it so much I ended up working there for a few months! The staff is super friendly, they work hard to have a "boutique" mentality, prices are exceptional (compared to other off-base thrift shops or discount retailers) and their goods are great! I found it especially good for home decor, women's clothing, housewares and books. Enjoy it while you can!! Open to anyone who can get there!

Love this place! The staff is always so friendly even on their busiest days. Clothing prices by far the cheapest on the island for any thrift shop. Love the sales they throw and the punch card system! Definitely a hidden gem.

As a stay at home mom of two I love taking trips to the thrift store to look for cheap treasures for my whole family. I went here for the first time on a Friday morning and I had a great first experience. . I had no trouble finding parking, it's open , and there are spots to park all around the building. This is a huge plus because I'm sure most of us who live on Oahu can agree that parking is a pain at most places on island. I was very impressed with how much stuff there was in the store. Its a lot smaller than goodwill and savers stores around the island but the prices are a lot more reasonable from what i saw. There was a pretty big selection of Halloween costumes for the whole family. There's a little book area with a chair so you can sit down and look through books if you wanted to. Things are separated by category into rooms. You have housewares in one room and children's clothing and baby stuff in another which was a nice layout because it Was easy to find what you're looking for. My daughter loved one of the rooms that was filled with just toys. I found Some good stuff and didn't spend that much on all of it. Kid's clothes were mostly around $1 a piece, books were $1-$2, women's tops were mostly $2-$3 a piece, I got a pack of 6 placemats for $5 and 4 toys for my daughter that only added up to about $6 for all.The cashiers were very welcoming and friendly and I even heard one of them offering to help a customer out with their stuff which is unheard of in most retail stores. They offer a punch card, one punch for every $10 and after 10 punches you get $5 off your next visit (plus it doesn't expire!) Overall I had a great experience and will definitely go back soon.
