Hi Steaks Ka Makana Alii

A step up from your typical plate lunch! Yummy food and an abundance of options (though not much here for vegetarians). I got the Mix Plate (choice of two options). I went for the Garlic Chicken and the Garlic Shrimp with brown rice and tossed salad (which even had kale) and was not disappointed. My dad had his usual juicy burger and fries. There was so much food, we could barely finish it. They are known for their grilled meats, and their bowls look intriguing. Will have to try those next time.The eatery is located in Foodland Farms and has outdoor seating right next to it - always a plus!

Food tasted good. Just got one of the orders wrong. Matched the printout, but not the online order. Also left out the salad dressing. I ordered salad and received kim chee coleslaw, not so good.Delivery was good.

Tasty but portions r incredibly SMALL! Like...what am I? I little kid? lol. For $19 I could buy a couple New York steaks! Instead, I got a few slices sirloin..overcooked...and some lettuce. Blah!

I was craving steak and my hubby wasn't home to grill one up, so what better way than to have someone else cook it for me?This steak place is literally less than 5 minutes from my house, so....and I must say it doesn't seem that their prices have been highly impacted by inflation. Still a good bang for your buck. The steak is tender and tasty and the portions are generous; easily enough for home lunch the next day. I definitely recommend you upgrade and get the steak fried rice, too!

Yummy little lunch spot conveniently located inside Foodland Farms at Kamakana Alii. When you walk into Foodland, they're hidden off on the far left past the registers. The ladies working work really quick and are very friendly. All orders are made to go but they do provide a nice seated area as well as an outdoor option if you'd prefer fresh air. I usually eye out their food area after I've already checked out with my groceries and never stop to purchase, but I made it a point this time around. They serve a handful of different steak plates or combo chicken plates and provide different sauce toppings like garlic butter, chimichurri, teriyaki, etc. My coworker got their ahi katsu/steak special and I grabbed a side of steak with garlic butter to go with my food from the Foodland hot bar area. My coworker loved her plate and mopped the entire thing! No complaints for my side of steak and you can't go wrong with anything covered in garlic butter (they served it on the side so you can add according to your liking). A quick and easy stop for food.

Ordered 2 plates - Steak and garlic shrimp plate with chimichurri sauce on the side for the steak, and a steak and garlic chicken plate with garlic butter sauce. Everything was good, and I was full. By the way the plate looks, it did look like only a little bit of steak but the combo plate did get me full.Steak was grilled perfectly and good flavor (I did have sauce on the side, not sure how big of a difference it would be without it). Garlic chicken was ok. Garlic shrimp was really good, would order this combo plate again.I like the convenience of being right where you check out of Foodland Farms. Lady who helped really knew the menu, and was patient with me. I wasn't familiar with the menu (first time ordering here), and she didn't seem to be bothered asking me to repeat whatever she was saying about what I wanted with my order. I went a little later in the afternoon and it wasn't busy. Just one other person there who already ordered. Pretty quick with the order; I was able to bring my groceries to the car, and come back to only wait maybe only a minute more to get my order.

First timer at this location. They didn't have much of the toppings available like the other places do, I was told they had run out. I always enjoy the steak here, so I didn't have my doubts eating at this location, however, when my husband and I opened our plates, our steak was really REALLY rare. Don't get me wrong, I love rare, but this one we had was crazy rare. My husband even told the told lady he liked medium well. Other than the food, we did like how there was a lot of outdoor and ample indoor seating available. The tables don't get wiped down immediately, but they do have a spray bottle and paper towels by the trash can available for customers to use to wipe it themselves. Anyway, maybe we just came on an off day, but hoping next time, they have more options.

Food is consistently good. The meat and chicken are made well and portions are generous. Well worth the price and the service is fast. Environment is more geared towards take out

We LOVE to come here for the steak and shrimp plate (extra steak). Mar gave great customer service and made it a very pleasant experience when we were mistakenly not given the extra steak add on last night and graciously took our word and gave us our portion tonight. So glad we had this awesome experience and will be happy to continue to eat here OFTEN. Every single employee has always given us very kind and good service. Mahalo!!!

The food is not bad 7/10. I think the regular orders is better than their specials. I had the spicy chicken special is a bit soggy and not spicy enough for my taste. I kinda wish they used a little bit of hawaiian salt for their steak. For the price i don't think it's worth it. I can honestly say it didnt hurt to try a new food place with my bf.
