HI Pie Bakery + Cafe

First things first..... Get the Carrot cake. One of my hubby's favorite comfort food is Chicken pot pie. We tried for MONTHS to catch HI Pie open but typically get up to N Shore later in the afternoon/evening or on Sunday when they're closed. We finally caught them open and to both of our joyful tastebuds they had Chicken pot pie & carrot cake!Don't miss the carrot cake.This is a small-ish shop with limited/no parking. There's limited seating, and while we didn't try it, a pretty extensive coffee bar selection. The sole young lady running the register/service was working hard to keep up but VERY sweet. We arrived in the last hour so we took our stuff to go and enjoyed them at home the next day. The pot pie is wonderful. I would love to convince them to sell the pot pies frozen to take home in bulk as well as freshly served. However, reheated at home it was fantastic. Did I mention the carrot cake yet... it was perfection in an oversized cupcake. Perfectly balanced and the frosting enhanced it vs over sweetening it. We will be back, we cannot wait to add more taste tests to our recommendations. Inexpensive brunch/lunch/linner on North Shore.

We make allowances for staffing shortages so when drink orders are incorrect or food items forgotten we give them extra time before we mention it. These issues happened while we were there and it took an extra 10-20 minutes for our order to be completed.I ordered the classic chicken pot pie for dine in and they warmed it up for me. I really enjoy chicken pot pie so I have been looking for go-to place for this dish. The chicken was moist and the creamy filling was tasty. The overall size of the pie was perfect for 1. The crust was nice. The Manic Monkey drink was tasty. My hubby liked the cute name more than anything.Cold brew was good.Poi Banana Bread was moist and delicious.Overall, food was tasty. Value was average.

This cute little bakery is in the perfect spot in Haleiwa to stop by and get some food and coffee! EVERYTHING they have looks so yummy, and I keep coming back to try it all. Had the quiche and latte today, and one day I will come back for their cheesecakes. So good!The owner is so kind and all the workers too - -great energy!Parking: Right behind the building or some street parking available

Went here after a morning at kaena. Really wanted to try their pot pie after having some really good homemade pot pies from Kauai. Hi pie chicken potpie is super savory, a little on the liquidy side, which sadly spilled into the container. Their strawberry matcha is okay for my first time ever ordering a drink like that. We were disappointed as the girl helping us, spoke extremely soft, didn't hear my husbands coffee order and was informed that the meat pie was not available for dine in. Each pie is an about $12... which is understandable. Their ham and cheese Sammy had this sweet honey mustard that my husband enjoyed so much, he didn't let me have another bite. The interior of this place is extremely cute and super cozy. If I'm back in Haleiwa with a lot of time on my hands I'd be willing to go back and try the coffee that was missed from our order.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and so happy I finally did! Convenient parking behind the building makes this place an easy stop on your way into Haleiwa town. My husband works near by so he had brought me home the pineapple pie and peanut butter pie and both were really good. They had that special homemade with love type taste that made it so special. Even if you think that's not your favorite flavor for pie I would highly recommend you try because it's a crowd pleaser.I wanted to try everything else they had so my husband and I went in to try the pot pie, quiche and banana bread. I also got the iced matcha strawberry latte...wow so delicious.My husband is more of a rice, eggs and meat guy for breakfast and wasn't too hyped on eating a pot pie for breakfast but after his first bite his feelings changed. We got the steak and potato pot pie and the spinach feta mushroom quiche? Soooo gooood. Already counting down the days til we go to Haleiwa again so we can stop by here again. Their matcha latte is so smooth and yummy, thee best!I recommend this place to everyone! Add this place to your North Shore itinerary.

The best peanut butter cream pie!!!This cute pie shop at the end of haleiwa and there is free parking in the back!! Inside there is a chilled section of pies, dips, and more. Their pot pie was sold out when I came at 3:00 pm, so come early if you want that. I ordered the chai latte with vanilla foam, peanut butter cream pie, and carrot cake. The chai latte was delicious since it wasn't a strong chai flavor. The carrot cake, I warmed up at home and it was good, but the best item was the peanut butter pie!! It was huge and I took it home to eat in 2-3 servings. I love the peanut butter cream and the home made crust. Everything about it is delicious. When the pie is chilled the cream is thicker which I enjoyed! I will definitely be back to get more of their cream pies!

Ordered a whole peanut butter pie for family dinner. It was ready for pickup on time and was beautiful in the box. Fun atmosphere inside the bakery/cafe.As for the pie, it fit the definition of peanut butter pie, a rich peanut butter cream topped with whipped cream on a graham cracker crust. My one wish is that it had a little more contrast. It was just a little too sweet for my liking and needed a different flavor to complement the peanut butter.

The 2 workers that were there were great. The parking is in the back to the right of the building. Gift shop inside. The peanut butter pie was amazing! $45 though

This is the best bakery on North Shore!! Located in Haleiwa!! Great service with happy smiling faces. Very helpful. Chicken pot pie is the best. I'm a sucker for anything baked and this is my go to !! Try it before anywhere else !!

Service was good. Clean interior. Ordered the manic monkey, iced. Good, but mostly tasted like cream. Wanted to try the poi banana bread before committing to buying a whole loaf for $24. Unfortunately, the small piece that came with the drink was cold, dry, too dense and flavorless. Not moist like other banana breads I've had. TBH, hardly tasted like banana.
