Henry's Place is a hidden gem for dessert lovers, offering house-made ice cream and sherbet that's bursting with fresh, natural flavors. The ice cream is perfectly balanced--not overly sweet--allowing the quality of the ingredients to shine through. Despite its tiny and unassuming setup, the freezers are packed with a variety of flavors, showcasing their dedication to quality and selection. The popularity is evident, as they were nearly sold out when we visited in the evening. If you're looking for a no-frills spot with exceptional frozen treats, Henry's Place is definitely worth a visit.So...forget the shave ice and come to Henry's!!

Everyone raves about the ice cream and I have to agree. Interesting combination of flavors and said flavors really come through. The endless traffic of people at 8:30pm is a good testament to its popularity. Limited seats outside the store. My only beef - ok, everything is overpriced in Waikiki but I needed some real fruit and got the 3 Mix. For $14, you get a bowl with a false bottom that boosts the actual fruit in it. The 3 mix is essentially pineapple, with half of a small papaya and 2 slices of green kiwi. I would not get that again. I could've purchased 2 papayas for $5 from the market.

Ice cream- we came back after 5 years and the ice cream is still delicious. We got Guava and Chocolate for the little birthday girl. They have lots of different flavors and combination of flavors so plenty for all. They all come in this 8oz or 12oz styrofoam cup which is awesome because it's easy to carry. Not sure what size it was. Sorry. But big enough to share with another person. Trust us. It's a tiny tiny shop. If you. Link while walking or driving you will miss it. Extremely limited street parking but there are a few parking lots around you can use or you can drop off someone to pick up and pay for it...they can loop around and come back to pick you up. Ice cream is $.9.95 each

This place was recommended by a friend, and it did not disappoint. Note - no card is accepted. Either bring cash, or I think they took either Venmo or Zelle. It is a little hole in the wall shop that sells freshly cut fruit, sandwiches, and Ice cream and sorbet. There is a wide variety to choose from, and can be overwhelming. We got the lychee sorbet and mango guava sorbet and both were so good! We sat outside on the limited seats and ate our sorbet while people watching at the end of the night. When checking out, we were told that the spoons were compostable and therefore weak, and we were given a few spares. However, by the time we got to the bottom of the sorbet, neither me nor my partner had a fully functional spoon lol so be warned!

We were staying in the Embassy suite Hilton and would always notice a small crowd going to this small store every night. Out of curiosity, we checked it out and apparently it's very well known for their ice cream! The owner wasn't the friendliest and didn't really give us much input... so do yourself a favor and just grab any flavor ice cream from the refrigerators. We tried lychee ice cream and it was delicious! It almost tastes like it has condense milk in there. Yum! Also, did anyone else had issues with the plastic spoons? The owner gave us 3 and somehow they all broke.. maybe bring yourself a spoon for this occasion. The ice cream melt pretty fast in this warm Hawaii weather.

Hole in the wall, fast service but amazing ice cream. We had mango sorbet and avocado ice cream. Both very very good. We will likely go again.

This hole in the wall should not be missed if are in the Waikiki area. There was a steady flow of traffic coming through because it seems to be well known to others. Ice creams are served at $10 cash only and are very simple in a Styrofoam cup with the name of the ice cream and the highlight that it is made of real fruit. Texture is not milky/creamy like ice cream but delectable either way, I got the Kona coffee and lychee ice cream and it was spectacular. I did not want to end. It's run by a mom and daughter and you know exactly who is peeling the lychee and who you are supporting. I highly recommend this no frills ice cream spot.

Small mom and pop shop that is unassuming! Their ice cream is homemade, but I would say it's more a sorbet than ice cream as it's more a slush with a grainy texture. We tried ginger, pineapple, pineapple coconut, and strawberry banana. The ginger was my least favorite as the flavor was not prominent. FYI, it's cash only!

Parking is hard to find as a local since it's in Waikiki. I ended up parking on the Ala Wai to the closest street and walked about 10 minutes to get here.First off it is pricey for ice cream. Similar in size as a solo cup ir cost $10. However after having the first taste I (sorta) understood the price. Passion Orange guava ice cream - it's sweet but not sweet like the canned juice. There's a sorbet version but the ice cream had the same consistency.

Tried it because it was featured on Instagram. It's a small place. Cashier was loud and a bit rude to the Japanese tourists in front of me. The sorbet was expensive and just alright. No wow factor. It was an okay experience and wouldn't come again. For that price, I could get cake or cookies.
