First off I have nothing but good things to say about Heavy Metal. I have been taking Ultra 40 for years now. Liver pills. I've noticed an increased energy throughout the day especially on contest prep. I recently have had a mishap which has set me back and ended up in the hospital with internal bleeding. I went from 16 to 7.4 hematocrit in just a day. I was admitted for 3 days. The tear has healed and was discharged. I left stable at 7.4 hematocrit. I had to make a plan to get my hematocrit back upto normal rage as fast as possible so I once again turned to Ultra 40 liver pills. I have done my research and used 5 pills between each of my meals which I eat 6 meals a day right now. In just 2 days they pulled my blood to check my hematocrit numbers again. I am up from 7.4 to 7.6. Praise God! I truly believe that with Ultra 40 apart of my regimen it really help the red blood cell count go up. With the Ultra 40 I should be back to normal range in 4weeks which is perfect timing for me to compete at the Nationals Bodybuilding Show in Texas. Thank you Kevin! Thank you Heavy Metal! And Thank you God for giving me another chance at life to full fill my visions that you have given me. God is GOOD!

When thinking about picking up some weights for home use while 24 Hour Fitness is closed due to the pandemic Heavy Metal Barbell was the first company that came to mind. They have been in Honolulu a long time and I was glad the salesperson that helped me was very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. Wanted to get adjustable dumbbells and got two 14" handles, four 10 pound plates, four 5 pound plates and four 2.5 pound plates. Came out to $136 which I thought was reasonable. If I need to add more equipment, I'll definitely return here. Hoping everyone stays safe during these trying times.

This place is a hidden gem. I haven't visited Heavy Metal Barbell since they were located in the Westridge Shopping Center in Aiea years and years ago, but I'm glad they are still around. I wanted to convert a spare bedroom into a home gym and found everything I needed here. The staff was very accommodating with my questions and last minute changes to my purchase. Even better, everything was delivered and installed in three days! Customer service is on point, both in the store and during delivery and setup in my home. You can't beat their delivery and setup charge, which is a straight up bargain. I'll be back again soon when their next Powertec stocking order comes in. Thanks again guys.

The hub found this place pretty early on in the pandemic and at first I was concerned about the $ he was spending and the cluttering of our apt. Fast forward 8 months and so grateful he found this place. We are more motivated to workout than before the pandemic bc it's all at home so barriers aren't decreased. Got dumbbells and medicine balls for us and as gifts for other family members. The customer service here was great and attentive and they answered questions. Of course supply was low in the early stages and we never knew when they would get a new shipment. My husband would call to ask and they were always friendly and helpful. They are in a small shopping center but there is parking. We went midday and it was pretty empty. Grateful for a local business like this providing essential equipment to get us through these times while maintaining health.

I've known Kevin for years starting at Hawaii Martial Arts. Kevin is a great coach and man. These days, people don't keep their word but his is strong as oak.Got a lot of equipment from him over the years for business and personal use and he always delivered. Cable systems, free weights, treadmill, multi stations, etc. LOTS of quality equipment over the years at competitive prices.

Biggest Mahalos to Heavy Metal Barbell Co. for their service and expertise. With all the COVID shutdowns, I thought it would be ready to make my own gym. It's been EXTREMELY difficult to buy weights, equipment, etc. because of the price gouging. Heavy Metal Barbell Co. was there for me when I needed bumpers for my CrossFit home Gym. The ownership and staff are knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. The equipment selection is plentiful and fairly priced. Delivery and Setup (only $60) was fast and easy. I was looking for a particular protein powder which recommended by my friend. They carry it. The person who helped me was telling me why this protein powder was great! I now know where I can get it! I'm a bus rider, so I took #6 bus to get there, but the building has its own parking!

On July 30 @ Noon I stopped by looking for some home gym equipment! Not really aware of the I stated that a piece of equipment costing over $5,000 was being over my budget! Before leaving I was browsing the cable gym accessories & noticed a dumbbell that could manually adjust the weights on it with Allen wrench that like due to the origami grip on it! Out of the blue the male employee came over to assist the female employee that was assisting me! He said that wasting my time, and took the dumbbell out my hands! He committed that the other one is what I'm describing! With no Origami grip! Being rude and disrespectful! As I leaving voice I would a yelp comment to the effect of his rude behavior
