prices were too good!! we got our bikes for $91 including insurance and got it from 8:30am-8am the next day! it was such a joyful ride and the scenery was beautiful! i had a small issue with my bike with the battery dying but since i had the insurance they brought a tow truck and switched out my bike while also giving me a 50% refund on the main total i paid for! i honestly couldn't complain because they were so whiling and quick with everything they just wanted to make sure we enjoyed our day! highly recommended! While vacationing in Honolulu, I wanted to rent a moped because one, it's an island and two, finding parking comes at a premium. I did my research and found Hawaiian Style Rentals which was close to my hotel. When I arrived, I was quickly greeted by an associate and they explained the whole process, explained the reasons why I needed a motorcycle license for certain models and why a two seater couldn't really seat two unless I had a motorcycle license. He didn't try to pressure me or give me more than necessary which I appreciated. Then it's on to watch a training video and then do a lap around the block to make sure everything was in good working condition. The entire process was smooth, easy to understand and straightforward. They offer rental coverage for an additional $25, which I took because it covered theft, damage, loss of use and I could return the moped back after hours which helped. The moped was very quick and rode very well but there were a couple of time that it took a while to start. I won't knock off stars for that because it could've been operator error. Once I was done with the moped, I dropped it off after hours, locked it up and left the keys in the drop box. They sent my receipt that morning once they opened shop. Renting the moped was a great idea, because I was able to take in the scenery or not worry about parking. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend.

Located on a narrow road behind a busy street, this rental spot is perfectly located in Waikiki who anyone and everyone renting. Shout out to Jesse for being the best guy ever and being super helpful. Please please this man with your business. No one deserves it more than he does. He goes ABOVE AND BEYOND with all customers!!The staff member who helps us with choosing our helmet and teaching is the basics were both very patient and kind. (Be aware that if you grab a bigger helmet it may not fit under the seat which is what happened with me) The bikes were great but we did burn ourselves on the muffler so be extra careful (don't be like us lol). Also it can be a bit of a hassle to lock and unlock your bikes so plan your day accordingly. We were able to take our bikes to a nearby hiking trail and found a spot to lock it up. There is plenty of gas to go to all the spot on this side of the island. They will also provide you with a map and let you know where you can and can't take your bikes. Super helpful

To rent a modped which was touted as being able to travel up to 50MPH and to have it reach a maximum of 20MPh for the duration of our trip to Hanauma Bat was extremely, EXTREMELY, disappointing.Of course Hawaiian Rentals, offered some type of insurance to cover any mechanical issues, we were assured the bikes were well maintained and that the biggest concern to have was potholes and a tire blowing out. Knowing that I would take the risk and be responsible for any type of accident caused not me, i didn't expect to have a bike perform terribly and have no remedy to have the situation fixed during my limited time for the rental.The bikes were not well maintained. Tire treads worn down, brake pads thin, and no acceleration on flat surfaces. A refund for dulling our party's experience would have been helpful., but not offered.Sad and no, I will not recommend your place.

Shop had good merchandise, a little pricey, but nice. Didn't buy anything thus time, but have before.

Amazing experience. Definitely recommend riding around Kahala and Diamond Head. Craig was super patient and supportive while helping my friends and I with learning how to ride the moped. We were all pretty nervous but he made sure we felt confident enough to ride. One of my friends changed her mind last minute and switched to a bike and the manager was super understanding, patient, and accommodating. We will definitely be back soon.
