Hawaiian Diving Adventures

We had semi-private diving (only 4 divers) which was great. Dive guide Faith is so nice, asking for our experience, caring during the whole time. I had issues with fins underwater and she jumped to help!We also got to see wreck which we didn't expect, which is awesome!We had pineapple for lunch, which was conveniently cut and was so yummy!Only downside is that their new dive computers didn't kick in during safety stop and I didn't see deco time - it was showing total dive time.

Actual score 4.5 stars. Had a good experience. I used them twice on this trip to Oahu. Boat is a bit small, but for,a dive boat, sorta normal. The dive masters and crew were nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. They do give you 2- aluminum 80s, unlike some other dive operations on the island which is nice. One of the really nice things (I'm not sure if this is normal, or just a coincidence of both of my trips), was they used 3 divemasters, and sorta divided people up by skill level. Really great. Beginners didn't hold up the more experienced divers, and the more experienced divers did t intimidate the beginners. Brought my own gear, so I can't comment on their equipment, but it looked in good shape. Just took off 0.5 star because they need to visit different sites. Both of my trips were to the Sea Tiger, and Secret Reef. Both are good sites, but would have liked options. Thanks for a good trip, see you next year.

My son and I found this business via a Google search. My son chose the shallow reef dive excursion. The scuba diving guide was very courteous and professional. My son had fantastic time as he saw numerous marine life where handling an octopus and sighting a turtle were the highlights. I highly recommend this company.

What a great group of people. My guides for all my dives were either Bailey, Paige, Faith or Ed. They all were fantastic. Glenn and Demetrius were a lot of fun as the skippers. The dive spots were so cool. I really liked the Sea Tiger the best. Lots of shark and turtle to be seen. Deep pipe is an active reef full of sealife. If you are on Oahu. This needs to be your dive group.

Caleb and Captain Dimitri were very helpful and easy to dive with. I would use these folks again!!

We had our open water certification dives with Jake. He's great. We got checked out, which is great. We were safe and informed about what to expect. We did four dives at different places over two days. We saw turtles, sharks, eels, and octopi. So we had a great time while we got our check out work done. Everyone was helpful and supportive. Captain Dimitri was great. I will use them again in the future.

I received my open water certification and the team is outstanding. I have a fear of the ocean and each of the instructors were very encouraging and supportive through the whole process and I'm really loving learning to scuba dive and have more dives scheduled with them. The captain was also really helpful with getting me in and out of the ocean and made us snacks.They took me to a reef where I saw 2 sharks multiple HUGE turtles and i even found some seashells to remember my dive! 10/10 recommend!

Been diving with this shop for over a year now. Full time student at UH manoa, but when I have the time to squeeze in a dice or two on the weekends, This is the shop I go with always. All staff are amazing and great under and out of the water. Highly recommend their night and wreck dives.

Just finished 6 dives with Hawaiian diving adventures. Dove on the YO-257 and the Sea Tiger along with multiple reefs. All were great. I showed up one morning, set up my gear and found my computer wouldn't turn on. Ed went above and beyond getting me switched to a different day and bringing gear for me to use on that day. I can't thank him enough for that.The crew, boat and dive masters were all great.

Dive itself was fine. Saw lots of turtles, fishes, eel and coral. Issue was with the dive guide. She didn't pay attention to us at all, but did point things out in the water. She was annoyed when asked for another layer because I was so cold. Her and the boat driver would talk smack about previous participants so I know they'll be complaining about me later. The 2 reef dives we did is only about 5-7 minutes from the dock. Probably will pick a different company next time. Guide acted like she needs to change jobs, going through the act of just what's absolutely necessary.
