We stumbled across Hawaiian Crown at the Kaka'ako Farmer's Market after seeing their colorful posters showcasing fruity soft serve ice creams and refreshing pressed juices. For soft serve ice cream, you can choose between $6 cones (plain waffle or oreo) or cup ($5 small, $8 large). You get one free topping before additional toppings are 50¢ each. The strawberry guava ice cream looked delicious. We weren't sure if it was a mix of strawberry with guava or if it was just strawberry guava the singular fruit. I opted for the strawberry guava on a waffle cone ($6).Unfortunately for us, the folks right in front in front of us ordered 3 large cups of ice cream / ice cream floats with the strawberry guava too and the soft serve machine started having issues after their first cup. We watched in silent despair as they tried to stir and add more soft serve strawberry guava juice to the machine, but it still had trouble ;( We ended up waiting for a long 20 minutes for a single ice cream cone after ordering. I get that it wasn't the girls' faults that their machine spontaneously started having issues, but it would've been nice for them to check in with us about alternatives in case we were in a hurry (which yes we were - we'd only paid for a certain amount of time on the parking meter and risked a ticket if we were late...which would SO not have been worth waiting for a small soft serve cone for).So guess it was bad luck for us. When they finally got to serving my cone, it was suuuuper soft soft serve that couldn't hold up swirls. Instead of a beautifully stacked swirled cone, I was handed a melt-y cone that had maybe half the soft serve shown in the pictures and that I saw previous patrons carry out. That was a rather disappointing experience especially after watching them hand the patron before us a heaping large cup of strawberry guava soft serve with juice then give her an extra cup of juice cuz her soft serve cup was too full of soft serve to hold enough juice...I wish they'd asked if I was okay getting a mix swirled cone with the matcha and strawberry guava instead of just handing over a sad melting cone so that I could at least get the same quantity of soft serve and at least try some partially non-melted ice cream. The strawberry guava soft serve itself had a a nice flavor. Mini mochi was okay - not very flavorful. Probably would've been a better texture contrast not eaten with melted soft serve.Anyway, I'm just very disappointed today with this experience hence this long, salty ramble :( Hope others have a much better experience!

I visited this place at the Kaka'ako Farmers Marke on saturday after my Snorkeling trip. I got the lilikoi and pineapple juice and it was so refreshing! They were also handing out samples of their vanilla and guava (I believe it was guava) soft serve and oh my goodness it was so so good. If you're at the farmers market delifinitely check them out.

Came to this stand at the KCC Farmer's Market on a saturday.I got the lilikoi pineapple drink ($8.50). It was sweet and refreshing! I finished this super quick on a hot day. They also have many other flavors including pineapple mago, pineapple lychee, and pineapple guava. It came in a cute reusable mason jar. Service was fast! Would get again.

Had their iced Hawaiian sea salt caramel latte, has cold foam on top and pink sea salt. I don't expect too much but the drink was so good. Totally recommend. If you don't want to get Rise and Grind, this is a good place for an alternative choice. They also have ice cream and fruit juices as well.

We visited Hawaiian Crown at the Kaka'ako Farmers Market on a Saturday morning. I love green juices and saw many visitors carrying around cups of juice from Hawaiian Crown. The truck (on 12/31/22) was on the North side of Ala Moana Blvd, as the market is split by Ala Moana Blvd along Ward Ave. The green juice had kale, spinach, ginger, spirulina, celery, cucumber, lemon, parsley, apple, and pineapple. It tasted like a cold pressed juice that was thin, unlike a smoothie. I opted for the $6.50 juice in a cup versus the $8.50 juice in a mason jar because I wasn't sure how much I'd like it. I wish I'd gotten the larger size! It tasted primarily like apple, pineapple, ginger, and lemon, though I am used to the taste of blended greens so I may not have tasted them as strongly as another person would. It was cold and refreshing -- perfect for a hot weekend morning! The acai bowl was decent. The acai was smooth and the fruits were fresh. It came with granola, strawberries, blueberries, banana, honey, cacao nibs, and a sprig of mint. Acai bowls are expensive anywhere, but I'm glad this one was overflowing with toppings. The juice was definitely the highlight of our visit to Hawaiian Crown. A majority of customers we saw while ordering and waiting for our treats got a green juice. I'd definitely return to get another green juice, but I'd also like to try the mango pineapple and lilikoi pineapple juices!
