Freshly fried - check! Crispy, unusual treat, easy parking in their own lot, and their own DYI flavor seasonings - check, check, check, check! The taro chips at this location very much check every chip lover's box for texture, taste, and treat factor. The location is in an industrial area. Good service. This is more of an adult snack because the nieces and nephews did not like it at all. Adults though.... ultimate YUM! Would absolutely come back.Please visit and create your own experience.

Love their fresh chips (taro and sweet potato mix). Nothing can compare to this once you have it fresh since you can then season according to preference - I usually don't season it at all which leaves the chip tasting natural which is the best. They are very friendly and can provide you with recommendations if you need any. If you know what you want, call and reserve ahead especially during busy season when what you want may be sold out unless you go in the morning when they open. It's a small hole in the wall operation, but probably the biggest part of the business is in the back where only employees are allowed to- cleaning, slicing, frying, and packing all those chips! They give out a small sample baggie for customers. These are fresh chips!

Some friends recommended the Hawaiian Chip Company, so we stopped by. They have a large parking lot. The store is petite but filled with so many tasty snacks!The ladies working here are so friendly and welcoming. They gave us samples of their fresh Taro and sweet potatoes chips. Also they offered a Saturday Special of Kettle-Style Potato Chips. We were hooked! I also ordered their Pineapple Ice Tea. Fresh pineapples inside. Everything was delicious!

I can't get enough of the fresh chip box (with the seasoning bar) and the pineapple ice tea! Love to mix garlic, onion, and bbq, and still dip with a little spinach and habernero dips. So excited when they brought back the sliders (now called kalua pork sandwich) with pineapple coleslaw. Have to admit, it's still good, lots of meat, but not exactly the same. The bread (king's hawaiian sweet bread roll) was a little mushy and the slaw didn't have as much flavor as before. But will still buy again. Yummy!

The women working here are always the most friendly and polite to explain the menu or ask you how your day is going. What could be better than freshly made chips with seasoning? Not much. Stop by for some freshly made chips. No regrets. Chips come out quick, fresh and warm. Be sure to get a stamp card for rewards.

Chips are made to order! My regret was not buying a big box of the taro chips. I ended up buying two standard bags ($8/each) since I didn't think I could eat it in one day. I sprinkled some seasoning outside of the shop on a fresh chip and had one of those eyeroll to the back of my head moment. Definitely would come back here on my next trip home.

If you like taro chips, go get them fresh. The cozy storefront always has super friendly and speedy employees. If they have the habanero dip make sure you grab some.

Located in Kalihi off of Nimitz Hwy is Hawaiian Chip Company parking available on the side of the store. Lots of parking spaces.We can purchase bags already made on the display shelves or you can place your order for freshly made chips if you purchase the freshly made in the box you can add a variety of flavors to your order, they have a table set up outside the building with different flavor you can put on your chips.They are delicious if you need it to take to the neighbor island you can preorder and pick it up if you have a large order they have boxes, you will need to bring tape & string to tie it up. You can pick it up on your way to the airport.Besides chips they have locally made chocolates and other locally made items and souvenirs and gift baskets!

Our go to for fresh taro chips.Good for out of town visitors. Definitely a family favorite

8/20/24 before heading back home to the 9th island thought to pick up some fresh taro chips to go. Got 2 boxes and waited 10 minutes. 1 box is $25. You can also do a mix batch of sweet potato and taro chips. Staff is friendly and helpful. Place is small. They sell other variety of goods. Definitely be back when I'm back.
