Hawaiian Boy Surf School

Look as we know as tourists there are times when people "phone it in" and every once in a while you find that person who loves what they do and connect with those who do it. Hawaiian Boy Surf School teacher Preston is one of those people. He made my son improve his skill with a light deft touch to ensure that my son would be proud of HIS own accomplishment. My son (3 1/2 years old) had the best time learning to surf with Uncle Preston. Preston is patient, knowledgeable and gentle. I was nervous because my son is young but Hawaiian Boy Surf School took every precaution and I knew he was in good hands. When I heard his little voice "cheehoo" as he caught his first wave I knew I had made the right choice. I'm so grateful to have found Hawaiian Boy Surf School. They made my son's first surf lesson a safe, fun and successful time.

Everything went so smoothly - starting with the booking the night before, communication, meet up and most importantly, the lesson - Preston was such a great teacher that made sure our daughter was safe and had fun. Hawaiian Boy Surf School is the best!! No other surf school comes close to what they offer. You not only learn proper surfing techniques but also about how surfing started and the rich Hawaiian culture behind surfing. Preston is awesome with so much knowledge and experience! You can really tell that he is a true Waterman and has a deep passion for helping others learn to surf. He has helped me take my surfing to the next level. Preston was a great instructor that helped with the basics of surfing, how to paddle out and helped us catch some waves. We learned so much and had a great time. My wife can't swim but he did a good job ensuring her safety. Thanks, Preston!

Absolutely incredible experience with Audrey & Preston. Both my boys (ages 2 & 5) had so much fun with them. I felt confident with Audrey & Preston to keep the boys safe while showing them a fun time and teaching them water & ocean safety. Can't wait to do another lesson soon!
