Hawaii Triathlon Center

This is not a professional repair shop! I call on Wednesday asking if they can check/repair my ebikes brakes as they squeaked bad. I bought it brand new like this but ordered it online so it would be a pain just to send back for this. Ben answers and says sure bring it in and he can take a look. I take it in first thing Thursday and am told it would take a couple of days. Ok no problem...... I call Saturday @3 to check on the progress as they close at 4 and are closed Sunday. Ben answers and says he never had a chance to look at it as they were busy with walk in customers, He says I can come pick it up and use over the weekend and bring it back Tuesday(?) I think not! I assumed they'd do repairs before and after set open hours as they're only open for 4hrs a day? I assumed wrong! Maybe it was because it's an ebike and not a bike they're accustomed to working on? Either way thanks for wasting my time.

Ben runs a great shop. He does quality work for more than reasonable prices. He does a fantastic job of explaining what is the problem, how he's going to address it and, if possible, how you can manage it next time. He's only ever a text away and has been really accommodating around work schedules.

Great service and awesome choices for triathlon bicycles. We made an appointment with Ben, the owner, to get a fitting for our first triathlon bike. Ben scheduled us to come the next day, on the memorial Sunday, where he closed the shop and gave us VIP service to fit the bike for us.The fitting process was very precise. Ben has a machine that is connected to the computer, where you sit on, and he can adjust the seat, the bike bars, and fit you to your body's dimension and comfort. This process took an hour, and during which, Ben was very patient and diligent in helping us to get the exact right fit and be comfortable. Fit us to the best position possible for racing. After that, Ben suggested the best bike that fits our budget, and adjusted the bike while we went to lunch. An hour later, we came back to the shop, and Ben has adjusted the bike to our exact measurements. The bike looked super nice, high tech, and we got great VIP service. It was definitely worth every penny to come here and purchase our bikes. Ben is a triathlon professional, and his service is impeccable. He know what we need and gave great suggestions. We enjoyed the process of picking out a bike from his store, and look forward to training with him as well.Highly recommend!

I've used HTC a couple of times for a tune up and received great service at a good price. I've gone to a few other places for a tune up, but my bike ran the best after going here. When you walk in you get treated and treated with respect which is nice. I just bought a new bike here as well. Ben does bike fittings and fit me for the bike. I just did my first ride and it felt great. From ridding my old bike without it being fit properly to riding this bike and being fitted makes a huge difference. I would highly recommend this place. Great service, good prices, and very knowledgable staff. They are able to answer any of your bike questions. You can tell that the owner, Ben, truly cares about the customers which is refreshing.

Great Adult training program! I started training with Ben, Bill, and Kristy in March of 2017. The results I have achieved since then have been substantial. I started uncomfortable in the water, weak on the bike and average as a runner. The focus of the training plan, group and individual training sessions have progressed my fitness to a level I never thought I would achieve. I will continue to train with HTC for the foreseeable future. They take my dreams of a specific finish time and focus my training to best achieve it.

The owner Ben was very nice and exuded passion about his business and serving the triathlon community and beyond. Go meet him!

Ben is a great triathlon coach! With his team of coaches, they can guide whether you're beginner, intermediate, or advanced. I highly recommend training with the Hawaii Triathlon Center regardless of your level!

Very happy with the quality and performance of the Liv bike we purchased here in 2016. Ben dialed in the bike fit with a GURU fitting that has allowed me many comfortable miles in the saddle and even alleviated the chronic hip pain I had been experiencing when riding my old bike. Individualized fitting was key for me. Still working on training "the motor" for that bike - thankfully, HTC helped me in that regard too. Their training programs pushed me to achieve my highest level of triathlon fitness in a supportive, inclusive, fun environment! Now I'm just waiting for their East Coast branch to open ;)

I just love Ben. He's got a huge heart and a passion for helping his customers. I know the difficulties of running a bike shop, and so thought it entirely appropriate to show Ben some love here, rather than on Google reviews where people can say things under fictitious profiles - its awful.
