We were expecting about 500 guests for my baby's 1st birthday. With that many guests, a lot of enclosed venues would not be able to accommodate that many people. And so, I decided on throwing my baby's party at Bishop Museum's great lawn. With that said, I needed to find a tent company that could supply tables, chairs, and lighting for that amount of guests.Hawaii Tents & Events happened to be the best option especially for the price paid. Other tent companies I researched would have charged easily over $5,000 (without tax) and one company even quoted me close to $10,000. With Hawaii Tents & Events, I did pay a little under $5,000. But as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The tents, tables and chairs weren't in the best condition but they weren't bad looking either.I did knock off a star because my communication with Tracey (Director of Sales & Marketing), though not the worst, was also not the greatest. Over the phone, she seemed really nice. It was just, at times, it was hard to get a hold of her. I didn't get responses as quick as I would have liked, especially when it came down to figuring out the layout of everything. A lot of my other vendors were dependent on the final layout and some decisions throughout my party planning had to be held off longer than I would have wanted.The mediocre communication, however, would not keep me from booking with them in the future. Their prices really cannot be beat!

Let me start off by saying that I contacted multiple locations for packages with a tent, tables and chairs and nothing has compared to Hawaii Tent & Events. They were very attentive and helped me along the whole process.Tracey is magnificent and she worked with me to make sure that I got everything I needed for my baby's first birthday luau. We were in constant communication and she was super pleasant to work with. They also made accomodations (w/ a fee) to have everything set up the day before my baby's party which was a HUGE help on my end. The day of my baby's party, we had an estimated drop off time between 9am-12pm and they came at 930am! I have never worked with a company that came as early as that (which was awesome) and the employees were super friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I actually have not used this tent company, but I do research before I do business with businesses. Worse customer service over the phone. Was looking into a tent package and came across their great price on the "Guava Package"(20x20,50chairs,5 8'tables) for $160. Since the price was so great there was a catch. Pick it up and set up yourself. Basically I called and asked if it was possible to be charged a delivery and set up fee. Response, "Honey, no amount in the world would be possible for me to go and set up and deliver, not worth it. That's why their priced cheap! No matter what, cannot." I was stunned, a simple "No im sorry, that is not included and not offered with that package" would have been fine. I'm sorry, I work in a field of customer service and that was plain rude. Who would tell a potential client something like that. Then again, no wonder, their located on Pupuole Street.

While planning for the chairs/tables rental for my recent small wedding, I was very pleased with the communication and service I received from Carly at Hawaii Tents and Events. Her communication with me was always prompt, friendly, and helpful. I found the prices to be quite reasonable and they were very flexible with making changes to the contract in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Toby, who delivered and picked up the chairs was friendly and hard-working...There was a miscommunication regarding the final billing but it was worked out to my satisfaction. I would use Hawaii Tents and Events in the future.

We used Hawaii tents and events for our daughter's first birthday and we felt that they offer a good product for a great price. We rented 4 tables and 30 chairs and were very pleased. The delivery cost was a little much so we elected to pick everything up ourselves, and this worked out just fine for us. They were very flexible, and pleasant to deal with.

Amazing job on our custom set up and booking within 2 weeks! Tracey was amazing to work with and also took the time to come out to our wedding venue (residential backyard) just to make sure she could get a better look at how I wanted our set up to be instead of just explaining it over the phone. She was also very easy to communicate with and replied within a timely manner. Thank you to Hawaii tents & events & especially Tracey for such an amazing set up!

Nicole at Hawaii Tent and Events was such a lifesaver. I contacted several rental companies and Hawaii Tents and Events was the only one where someone actually answered when I called! And their communication continued to be consistent and clear throughout the process. Planning a Hawaii wedding from the mainland--I really appreciated having such a reliable and communicative vendor! Nicole was so friendly and supportive--and she went above and beyond to make sure that our arrivals arrived at a time that was convenient for us. I would definitely recommend Hawaii Tents and Events!

We rented a sailcloth tent from HT&E for our outdoor wedding. It was clean, exactly as pictured, could not ask for more. They also worked very well with our coordinator and florist to work together and attach a floral chandelier to the tent. Thank you, Nicole!

We hired Hawaii Tents & Events for our very large community walk - Ala Moana Beach Park (1500 participants). Planning and communication with Dan prior to the event, was outstanding. A logistically challenging set up went smoothly and seamless with Kat and her set up team! All details from various tent sizes, chairs, tables and linen, were on point. Safety of participants, and finishing elements were executed flawlessly. We have already booked out date for next year! Mahalo Hawaii Tents & Events!!
