Hawaii Pacific X-Ray

I practiced in Hawaii for a few years and had a terrible run in with this company. I sent my wife to their office to buy chemicals for our automatic processor. When my wife showed up the people working there treated my wife like she was a bother not a customer. My wife called me from their office nearly in tears and told me they refused to sell her chemicals. When I talked to the lady working that day I asked to have the owner call me because of the rude treatment.Within a hour of my wife leaving their office I got a call from the owner of the company. The man was so rude I could not believe it! This guy told said to me that he was the only game in town and if I "did not like to go F%*!? Myself". Don not use this company! If you need service on your machine or are in need of supplies buy from the mainland! You have been warned!

So far, I have called them. I was told an estimate would be sent. It was not. I called them back the next day. They apologized and sent the estimate. 2.5 hours at $300/hr and 1 hr. Travel at $300. I approved this expensive estimate since there is nobody else to call. The service tech called me and asked what was wrong with machine? I told him the columnator needs adjustment. He set up appt. Tech calls back in 2 minutes saying that office asked him to have me call them to make payment in full $1099.47 to adjust columnator before they even show up. I call back to pay and there is nobody available to take payment. To be continued........ we called the next day to pay in advance which apparently it is required of first time customers. The friendly tech showed up on time and fixed the problem in two hours by my watch. They should be issuing refund for extra .5 hour on estimate. In the end we got what we needed for the price quoted. Time consuming appt. setting, expense and awkward payment requirements loses a star though.
