Hawaii OG'z - Ono Grind'z

Saw the food truck by chance outside of Residence Inn Kapolei. I got the garlic Kalbi and I don't have a favorite Kalbi place, but now I do! Meat is so tender down to the gristle. And I could really taste the garlic in there. So ONO! I've catered from them before and their pork guisantes is also one of my faves. Friendly service and good priced. It was $20 for my plate and I was full and very satisfied.

It was a pleasant surprise to see food trucks as we drove by Residence Inn by Marriott Kapolei. We ordered the ribeye steak and garlic shrimp - both were onolicious and cooked as ordered. The shrimp was fresh and perfectly cooked (not rubbery at all). Service was friendly and fast. Foodtruck outdoor ambiance was good - everyone was friendly and supportive of each other since we wanted to try a few different food trucks.

The food was incredible! The mahi mahi was delicious, and the pastele stew was fantastic. The banana lumpia tasted like candy! The service was kind, even while they were processing a huge order. Definitely check them out!
