I highly recommend the Snorkeling with Turtles semi-private tour with Hawaii Ocean Charters and our tour guide Francesco! My husband and I had an amazing experience with the group. We were incredibly lucky to spot whales as soon as we set sail, and the tour guides made it even more special by sharing fascinating details--not just about the whales, but throughout the entire trip.Once we arrived at Turtle Bay, they provided all the snorkeling equipment, explained the safety guidelines, and even gave a beginner-friendly lesson on snorkeling, which I really appreciated since it was my first time. The guides were super helpful and made me feel comfortable in the water.We spent an hour swimming and exploring, spotting plenty of marine life--including, of course, the turtles! Seeing them up close was a truly special moment for me, as turtles are my favorite animal.To top it off, we cruised around Diamond Head, offering a perfect opportunity for photos. The tour includes snorkeling gear, water and soft drinks, plenty of space on the boat to sit back and enjoy the views, and tons of interesting insights from the guides. The small group setting made the experience even more enjoyable and personal.Huge thanks to Francesco and the entire team for such an unforgettable adventure!

Tried to get in a last minute Whale watching trip before we left Hawaii the next day but everything basically sold out online so I looked up a few places and called these guys. They were also sold out but offered a private charter for up to six people for aSunset cruise that they would turn into a whale watch cruise so I nabbbed it. Went with a couple of friends, way better than going with a crowd of people. Brought some booze and poke with us. Met the captain and his mate at the dock and basically asked what we wanted to do. So he recommended a nice snorkeling spot and then we would cruise around looking for dolphins and whales.The snorkeling spot was great, near Diamond head, Tons of fish and bunch of sea turtles, got some great pics. Then off to see a few dolphins u distant no whales today. The two man crew were really great and accommodating. The boat was nice and the ride was surprisingly smooth, we all thought it was going to be bumpy but no issues and a great sunset to boot!

My must for anyone visiting Maui! I went with my husband a few years ago and I have never seen so many turtles in my entire life!!! They were unfortunately affected by the fires a few years ago for a bit (and I donated to their recovery fund) and I'm so happy they're back. Truly the loveliest and I promise you won't regret it!

Everything went according to plan in terms of what was promised. Everything exceeded our plans in terms of what we encountered! We saw and traveled with dolphins, saw our fabulous turtle friends, and then hung out with some whales about 40 yards away. Captain Sam and Kelsey We're excellent hosts and guides. It was wonderful to be with such a small group of people! I felt like I was going out with a group of friends!

Beyond impressed with our experience with Hawaii Ocean Charters! We set out on Christmas Eve with captain Sam and Mossy and they were soooo nice, friendly, and were so sweet to our girls (8 and 4 year olds). We chartered with them privately for 2 hours and had the best time cruising down Waikiki as the sun came up, followed by a snorkel which was guided by Mossy. Highly highly recommend these guys and will be looking to book with them in the future!

Francesco and Nick were awesome! We were able to see dolphins and turtles super close! We had a ton of fun and would definitely use Hawaii Ocean Charters again! Thank you!

They are the best! Wonderful service, beautiful setting, great music, awesome charming Captain and Guide! My husband booked this trip for my birthday and I can say that it was the best gift ever! The enthusiasm and knowledge of the crew is outstanding. I really enjoyed every second of it. And Mother Nature gave me the rest to make this experience one of the best birthdays ever! Hawaii Ocean Charters is the best!! We did a private 2 hour charter and it was amazing. Francesco and Sam were so kind and hospitable. If you're looking for your next boat adventure, be sure to book HOC!
